Control shaman generally loses to Tickatus Warlock, and the ladder where I'm at is infested with Tickatus Locks right now :(
Just blow their heads off with comulo maximus and circus medic. No need for the whole deck. I even got one who burned both medics, Y'shaarj and 1 comulo. You can burst like a mad man with quest shaman (Pen flinger, kobold lackey, comulo maximus and lightning bolt). My diamond to legend WR was 64% btw. That’s what Avalanche is for lol.
In standard you could add "landslide" yes (lol?). I haven't played quest shaman since the mini set came out, so I still can't tell how well you'll fare against the new stealth rouge, but Sandstorm elemental and lurker below were my anti aggro cards and they seemed to give me just enough wins there. Again, there a many ways to play quest shaman, including a potential landslide lol deck ;)
Edit: To my dear Danjo, yes! But only the one sandstorm and lurker here's the code if anybody's interested AAECAaoIBs+lA+GoA/O3A5PCA5zOA/zeAwycAsaZA+2tA4GxA9u4A5vNA5/NA/vOA/7RA/DUA7PcA6feAwA=
Rogues go double x/1s on first couple turns, then Sandstorm Elemental (I run 2) and it's gg, because they lose sage tempo, the weapon can do 8 dmg, but you heal that + taunts, and as soon as they develop a board, an aoe corrupting Tank is ending it. Not really a brainbuster.
Tickatus can go fk itself, I am 4-0 vs warlocks dropping it with the deck (mini set changed zero cards for me), and two if them even hit yshaarj. If you play for the otk, you lose. If you play to win, you don't play (just) for the otk when opponent plays a betdeck they expect would win for them. Exploiting warlocks is easy.

Try running 2x Hecklebots. It will bring out Tickatus and/or Y’sharji so they can’t do their battlecry. Just make sure you have a devolving missile or Torrent to get rid of whatever big comes out.
A turn 4 8/8 or 10/10 on the board is not exactly what is gonna make me win since I have no big boy removals. Yes of course I can also run torrent, or devolving missiles or other shit like that but the deck is made of 30 cards you know?

I think 2x sandstorm might be the way now, with so many stealth rouges. I just had a few games again yesterday. Big warrior, zoolock and control warlock got smashed, but my version is a bid too mid range for rouges atm. I agree that warlocks generally are a small concern for this deck. It's not unwinnable for them, but the damage burst is just too high for their soul fragments to keep up. Do you also run with the lurker below?
I was playing a similar deck a while ago, but I ended up cutting Dunk Tank for more early-game stuff (like Wandmaker or EVIL Cable Rat). Circus Medics are enough for the OTK and they are also fine uncorrupted for some healing vs aggro, especially with the quest completed (while Dunk Tank is unplayable garbage uncorrupted)
(while Dunk Tank is unplayable garbage uncorrupted)
This may be true, but I always laugh a little when I see Dunk Tank played uncorrupted. With all the cool and flashy animations available in the game, there is just something so funny about simply throwing a rock at a minion.

With my deck you have plenty of cards to corrupt it and then it’s really good as a board clear vs aggro. If you can corrupt medic you can corrupt this too. My early game is a bit slower for sure but I have enough defense to hold a bit longer until the quest is complete. Usually you don’t need to be in a hurry

The problem I see with your deck (opinion), is no lackeys. Sure, I can and do appreciate the methodical approach, but no Sludge AND no Rat defies early quest completion, which allows further on double lackeying for the tempo gain you sub for Ruststeed. I personally dropped one Questing Explorer, because either she's there on time, or she's useless.

I had lackeys in my first version and it didn't work. Sure you complete the quest faster but this is not an aggro deck that needs to go fast. It is a combo deck and for combo you need draw. In most cases I finish my opponent with no or very few cards left to draw. Lackeys don't help you there. Especially if you are behind, they are not going to save you. That is why I have Jepetto who can draw up to four minions, possibly including 1 mana Y'Shaarj (and you can finish your combo in one turn) and also 1 mana medics that can be more easily corrupted. Rusteseed is an amazing card for board control: 1) it can clear a threat with 5 or 9 damage, 2) it protects you with whoopping 8 hp stalling aggro decks for a couple of turns and 3) it corrupts your cards, which lackeys can't do. In fact if you play lackeys you're going to be faster finishin the quest but a lot slower corrupting your cards.
Agreed. With more lackey generators and early game you can (1) finish your quest faster and start reaping the benefits and (2) not necessarily rely on the OTK combo to win, but rather play as a tempo deck and beat many opponenents in the mid-game
Barista is a nice "you wish" card. It's so slow most of the times you will not be able to use it efficiently. If I were you I would swap it for draw (novice engineer) or more overload to proc cumulo, for instance lightning bolt or bloom.
Mistrunner is another card I ended up cutting from my deck. Again most of the time I wasn't able to use it and it was just a dead 4/4 in my hand

Yes in flinger version, as single 6er at top of curve.
Not in Y'shaarj version - I have schemes And quake/wave, it's better vs control meta, in which lurker isn't Much of a threat.
I do run it with Y'Shaarj too. It is super useful because the deck counters both aggro and control

Whump!
So, there's that.

Not worth crafting at all because:
1. The quest rotates out in about 2 months.
2. The deck is not competitively viable.
Sure, if you're not playing in legend it can score a win or two, but it's going to get stomped by treants, zoo, or face rogue.
No it's not
Neither deck can be stomped, really, unless aggro dh goes dbl mana burn by t4, and that's IT.

Well, good luck surviving druid and rogue with that
Eh I have around a 50/50 with aggro as it has some good aoe, the issue is more burst decks like evolve shaman and paladin.
If you're seeing a lot of Druids on ladder, go for Midrange Quest Shaman! It's my latest successful experiment (60% including 9-2 vs Druid).
