So they made an entire new in game currency to give people 8 rerolls over 4 months......
Unless they pay 5€ to make it more or less insignificant, which is not at all an in game advantage. Just admit it Blizz, nobody is expecting much better from you anyway...
Maybe it's just me, but my impression is that the suggested decks 95% of the time are absolute garbage. I also think that you can climb decently with homebrew if you can counter at least one of the most popular decks.... Not saying that your elemental mage counter will hit legend but you can probably hit D10-5 if it doesn't stink against everything else
The complains are paradoxal. Funny enough people don't complain much about power creeping draw effects, that IMO are the main reason why mana cheat becomes a problem. Classic druid had even better mana gain abilities than now, but when they had the draw and armor to pull of the nasty plays we saw innervate and wild growth nerfed substantially :)
At the end of the day, mana is just another number that can be tweaked for card design, but also one that can make very unfun play patterns happen, while stats are easier to counter with better hard removal.
Does it matter whether the giant got cheaper or the man got bigger?
It's too expensive for proper tempo as it is. If you want it in a tempo deck, I would think that the suggestion of making it a 4/5 cost that can't go below 1 would actually help :)
First of all: Naming people here is is greatly frowned upon and (i think) against forum rules (edit the shaman name out).
second: How do you know that this isn't a bug? Wouldn't that be 100x more likely that the excavate counter was coded like.... most of HS?
Third: Surely there are hacks/mods but the known ones are skipping animations. You could probably find a way to look at your deck order or opponents hand, but tricking the excavate counter is probably the most creative "hack" I've heard of.
Fourth: Play 100 games and you'll notice some very lucky opponents that easily could have ben luckier and probably had their finisher in hand much longer than you think. You'll also have 90+ less lucky opponents that you forget.
But at the end of the day, who knows? Hope you're still having fun

Nice answer, but now it's even weirder that they get location synergy and not sacrificing ;)

So why is Warlock er Zerg class again?

Are you telling me that Blizz has all these incredible fan made portraits corroding away on a drive, while we get to pay 10$ for their shit?

No opponent is harder to defeat than HS animation time :p

Nice stuff but dragons still only have "high roll trinket abuse or lose" as their identity

From the explanation it seems like nobody was picking it ;)
