The overreaction is real Rogue isn't in the state of priest, the problem will arise if the first expansion of 2017 doesn't bring something good for rogue, since tomb pillager is such a strong and important card for rogue, but rogue is fine ATM jus tthat the "we nerf BF cause it restricts card design" sound kinda pathetic now..
I wouldn't be as irritated with these card releases if they were at least bad but interesting cards. But Gadgetzan Ferryman, Shaku, the Collector and Lotus Assassin are all just boring and objectively unplayable in constructed. Honestly, the fact that a company as large and wealthy as Blizzard can't come up with any better ideas than this is unconscionable to me.
The Jade Shuriken/Lightning comparison is false. Shuriken is actually quite good, enough so that it can replace SI7 Agent for golem and maybe even Malygos decks. Only the burgle meme decks will play Lotus Agents. I agree with the rest though.
Rogue isn't even that bad right now. Sure, it's tier 2 or 3, but you can still win most of your games if you draw and play well. Earlier today, I beat some Tempo Mages and Zoo with Miracle.
That's the problem with rogue at the moment is the only "meta" archetype is miracle. Blizzard hasn't introduced and interesting new mechanics for rogue besides Jade Golem, but even then, rogue is getting the short end of the stick on that one.
1. You shouldn't main a class, the game will turn out to be a lot more fun for you if you play a variety of classes.
2. Not all Rogue cards are revealed yet - How do you know Rogue won't get a Tomb Pilager 2.0?
3. Counterfeit Coin is actually a okay card, and Jade Shuriken is pretty good (even if you're not combo-ing it)
4. Rogue have 2 of the top 10 best decks right now - What more do you need?
5. The steal Rogue ain't very good, (it's like low tier 3 or even tier 4) you'll usually only see it at low ranks or when a high-rank player want to have fun (and probably lose)
6. Blizzard don't like decks that has the potential to kill your opponent in one turn, just take a look at; Patron Warrior, Combo Druid, Anyfin Paladin hat lost Murk-Eye, Worgen Warrior, Miracle Rogue, Freeze Mage and so on. The reason they don't like combo/otk decks is that they're not very fun to play against. This ofc affects Rogue because their entire class is build up around combining cards and making powerful combo's.
7. I agree on the part where Blizzard should put a bit more work into their cards, the new Rogue Legendary doesn't even seem like a legendary (looking at it's effect) And they could have made the Farryman a lot more interesting in a lot of ways - make it 3 mana and be able to target enemy minions, let it return one of your minions that dies this game (fits more with the whole farryman theme, could make it an discover effect) - even just making the card returned cost (1) less mana would have been interesting (they can't make it (2) because of Knife Juggler)
8. Flurry was too strong at it's old state, they could have just made it not damage face though. (i hope they'll give Rogue an aoe better than Fan in the future)
9. Did any of you Rogue people try Shadow Rogue? It's really fun!

No, it's a great comparison. Shaman has 4 damage summon a golem for 4 mana, rogue has 2 damage for 2 mana but you have TO COMBO IT. Why do i have to combo it for god's sake?! Just to say we have a combo card? I understand for it to be 1 mana two damage, combo summon a golem, but exactly the same thing except you have to use another card before is bollocks.

It's not like it's inherently difficult to trigger combo cards in Rogue. Combo cards, by design, also need to keep in mind that they need to be a little overcosted for the initial effect. When the combo trigger is added, you're getting that spell at a much better rate than what would be expected. Having Jade Shuriken at one mana would not only be too powerful, but it would break the design that the combo mechanic inherently follows.
I cannot stand the lazy effort team 5 had always been showing with every expansion. This time round, no forgiveness, I just asked for a refund on the pre-order bundle. Every single expansion, rogue get the shrt end of the stick.
the moment I saw the shitty ferrymen, that's it for blizzard, again and again and again they show that they are incapable of designing card, until a new design team takeover, i don't see where this game is heading to a better place for every consumer like you and me.

If you want us to read your post, start by not calling us "rouge". It's the most infuriating thing.
Rouge means red in french, just saying. And yeah I'm french so it hurts me even more as a rogue player, not a rouge player.

I found Lotus Assassin actually pretty amazing. It's a complete powercreep over other already excellent card, Strangletorn Tiger. Also vanilla rawpower is always amzing in the long run, -'nd this card fits current miracle decks as. Well

The only reason why Stranglethorn Tiger is occasionally played in constructed is because of it's beast synergy. Yes its a decent vanilla minion but decent vanilla minions never see constructed play unless they can take advantage of some broken mechanic. If you don't see strangle thorn tiger being thrown in to any rogue decks then your obviously not going to see Lotus Assassin in any either.
I think this post attracts many players.. Its just that they have a tendency to "go rogue" sometimes 😶 Trust in the fabled allmighty blizzard gods, all classes will remain.. If one is bad for a few months, try another ❤️ Its all about falling in love with alternative classes ultimately, right. Nothing about love is ever bad.

How did you manage to misspell Rogue every single time?
Ain't you guys rage when you read this from Dean ayala?
Q: So is Blade Furry going to stay a 4 mana card? Because it seems to me if you're going to cater to niche decks with these types of cards (Ferryman, Purify), it seems reasonable to print a board clear that caters to control rogue decks. A: We don't have any plans to change Blade Flurry, I would be quite surprised if it ever changed. The future of Rogue is likely to include very weak AoE or life gain and very strong single target removal and card draw.

I'm a Rogue secondary, but I'd like to join because I see Rogue's position.
Counterfeit Coin Innervate
Gadgetzan Ferryman Youthful Brewmaster
Jade Shuriken Jade Lightning
Rogue will have to rely heavily on Lotus Agents.
Explosive Shot => Meteor
Power Word: Tentacles => Spikeridged Steed
I'm so disgusted by how Blizzard is treating Rogue I'm really considering quitting this game. Team 5 just doesn't give any damn about the players.

I'm sorry, i keep on misspelling it... I fixed it now :P
Except priest got buffed by ridiculous amounts.

The biggest problem with rogue is when you go wild the only cards that you can use is healbot and sludge belcher you might as well play standard
like rogue rarely gets any good cards from an expansion
