An easy solution might be to make the hero power recastable. As paladins can do a lot with tokens. It wouldn't help their early game but could help the late game a lot as even with no card draw you can fill out your play with a couple of hero powers later in the game if you're floating mana. Makes cards like libram of justice stronger too if you have the 1/1s ready to trade
From time to time every class is on top and every class is in a dumpster. Paladin had its time of glory with Midrange in GVG (still my favorite deck of all time) and much bigger one with Secret Paladin. Priest historically was in a dupmster - now it is the deck to complain about. Shaman? Lol, Shaman has a long history of both absolute top and absolute bottom.
There's a rotation of top and dumpster classes in Hearthstone and it goes really, really smoothly, unlike other things Blizzard takes care of. Really, you can't please everyone at the same time, so they are at least pleasing everyone from time to time.
Paladin is most likely the worst class nowadays - agree. So what? Priest was a laughingstock for so much time.

No one's laughing now.
That is hot fucking garbage.
Literally wrong about everything you just said. The last time Priest was in the dumpster was maybe ~3 years ago? Same with Paladin, and literally the only reason is that Paladin lost Crystology.
Shaman is a mid tier class right now, with strong control and wide evolution decks. The worst class right now is Warrior, if anything, and the strongest definitely isn't Priest, it's Druid or Warlock. Priests just have 30+ min running games that people just auto-concede in Priest matchups to save time.
And no, there is no top/bottom class rotation. Have you even played this game since GvG?

LOL. Seriously? Don't you remember the huge backlash after Silence being introduced, just because it pissed people off that they were the worst class for ages and it has not changed with the expansion?
Nowhere I said anything about Shaman in its current state. Only that it has long history of ups and downs, being both the most broken deck of the format and the worst deck of the format.
Warlock is good only against DH. That's why it rose in popularity. Take DH hype out of the game and Warlock comes back to its normal place, which is among the top decks, but certainly not at the top spot.
According to HSReplay Res Priest has the biggest win percentage of all decks with the exception of Galakrond Warlock - which as I said is there merely thanks to auto-win against DH (also it is going down with each passing day after the DH nerfs, what even further shows that it's high win ratio is dependant on DH being present in the meta - it started around ridiculously high 70%, just to be mere 1,4% higher than Res Priest now).
And win received through people conceding for whatever reason is still a win and counts. Therefore your argument about Priest is literally stupid.
Another thing is that you should learn to express your opinion in a civilized manner, because your post looks like a screaming of a rude and dumb kid.
Equality should be 3 mana, not 4. It was never that problematic and Blizzard weirdly out of nowhere oddly decided to make it cost TWO more mana when their normal strategy is to to increase the mans cost by one. Such a bizarre nerf that almost no one asked for.
Twisting Nether ALMOST does exactly the same thing as Equality + Consec combo so I believe they wanted to match their costs. Truth be told 6 mana one sided board clear was really good (most AoEs with this cost either had limitations in dmg/affected minions and didn't kill everything and/or affected both sides of the field). The only disadvantage of this was that it was a 2 - card combo, not a standalone card, but thanks to it it was also versatile, because both cards were pretty much staples on their own, even if the other part never existed.
Paladin needs a complete core set rework. After losing Divine Favor and Equality it just cant be considered a real class anymore, just a pile of meme garbage. I honestly dont know why they even made it a secret class as it makes no sense lorewise, but that stupid shit just has to go.
The lack of good card draw also makes any kind of late game strategy just downright impossible, so once again all it can do is play dumb one-trick-pony tribal decks. This class right now is just pathetic.
Paladin needs better board clears before it needs better cute stuff like cheaper buffs and Lay on Hands.
Murgurgle isn't even a bad card, buffing it is a TERRIBLE idea. It's a great card in a terrible class. There's a reason it's in every single Paladin deck.
Boardclear??? They have decent boardclear. They need card-draw.
I tried to make control Paladin work. You know the issue I kept running into? BOARD CLEARING.
Equality needs to combo with something. Or it isn't a real clear. When you have the Pyro and the equality but not the other... it creates more problems than you think. Librum of Justice made this SLIGHTLY less of an issue, but they still don't have any reliable way to wipe a board with one card.
"Decent" boardclear requiring a two card combo doesn't cut it when things like Plague of Death and Plague of Flames are in the meta. Oh, and the new Holy Nova makes Consencration look really awful, too. And Shadow Word Ruin, as long as we're on Priest.
Paladin needs to have Equality unnerfed, if you want to make Control Pally (Librams or any other) viable then Paladin needs to have ways to combat wide boards cause Libram of Justicy is not enough. The card itself is good but you need to have minions on board to take advantage of it. With the current state of the class you get rolled over by everything that can set a wide mid-sized board.
Every game that I currently play as Pure Libram Paladin is very close, but it goes down hills when my opponent starts to generate value non-stop at a cheap cost. I know that other classes have their own Identity, but some just generate value that Paladin can't keep up with. Paladin needs a low-cost Hero Card that can utilize the Hero Power like Dr. Boom, Mad Genius did and generate value as the game progresses.
What Paladin needs is a Libram that gives Taunt. Ideal would it be to make Pharaos Blessing a Libram. That way you could give your Liadrin or your 7/7 fill-up-your-Hand Taunt and don’t lose any tempo

No. Their 1 sided equality should be fine. But for some retarded reason, Blizzard thinks the weakness of buff classes should be card draw, so it limits both classes significantly.
They should move Crystology to classic, and call it a day. That card was fantastic for early game tempo, and thinned their decks enough that they could run buffs.
Blizz should just make Solemn Vigil a basic card for the class. It oozes identity, is not overpowered, and would give paladins some reasonable card draw that they so desperately need.
For those that don't know, it was the 5 mana draw 2 cards, costs 1 less for each minion that died this turn.

They should just make every murloc card neutral, they have nothing to do with any class identity
They should just give us back our Divine Favor and 2 mana Equality
Dream deck with Divine Favor, should be decent:

The equality nerf is something I never will understand...

Consencration should cost 3 at this point.

I have a surprise for you, they just buffed a paladin card. Libram of Justice next week will cost 5 mana.
It is really little.
I feel one of the best ways to buff pal is to add more reborn cards to the class.

I imagine blizzard and veteran community alike are reticent to these changes since odd Paladin and secret paladin reigned supreme for so long
Yes, they do. Murlocs are stupid, and so are fantasy paladins. :P
