The Last Kaleidosaur
Quest: Cast 5 spells
on your minions.
Reward: Galvadon.
Anekdotentext
“Impossible!” exclaimed the Silver Hand Recruit, his eyes filled with fear. Uther shook his head, turning the crystal until it caught the light: “Life finds a way.”
Card Sounds
Haven't seen this card anywhere in game, so decided to try in latest Tavern Brawl, since decks there are not so toxic. And... this card is awful. Like really bad. Like it makes you mad, then you get the quest done, bad. Sometimes you don't get neither Divine Shield or Stealth once in 5 picks. That is just really-really awful. It guarantees not ever a good swing of game, I'm not even talking about a winning position. This is really the worst quest of all classes - and, yes - even worse, than Warlock's.
Thank you for sharing this, so I can dust this card on my free to play account without feeling bad :)
Pulled a golden one of these, which is pretty neat. Too bad it's only playable (maybe) in wild and I'll need a lotta dust for that deck.
Well, I can't complain considering I pulled a goldenLyra the Sunshard, Jungle Giants, and a golden one of these in my 18 Un'goro packs.
its on my wishlist
Huh, didn't notice that Galvadon was in the art of this one until I saw the Golden Animation. Pretty neat.
You can actually see most of the rewards in the actual art. Jungle Giants being the one you can't, The Marsh Queen having the raptors, but not Carnissa herself, and Lakkari Sacrifice being so far in the background it's hard to see.
Saw it only after your comment. Where were my eyes?
Seems like - not. Cause this Equality affected for all minions, but quest says - "on your minions', that must be a target spells i guess.
This card seems to have a lot of potential in Wild. Just a little something I put together :D.
Brann Bronzebeard is included for awesome synergy with Galvadon, Echoing Ooze, and Mukla, Tyrant of the Vale
Does Smuggler's Run count as a buff for this quest?
This is what I want to know also.
That's Elise up on that rock. I didn't even notice at first.
Fun and interactive, they said
2 thoughts about this quest: since you could use cards like Holy Light and Forbidden Healing instead of conventional buffs (which tend to not be so great), you might be able to make this quest work in a Healadin control deck thanks in no small to Ivory Knight. Now if the best thing you get offered is a Blessing of Might or Silvermoon Portal, you're not too sad since they at least make quest progress.
Furthermore, now that we've seen the Primalfin Champion and both Mukla, Tyrant of the Vale and Ysera generate buff spells, you could make it a Menagerie deck with The Curator. Seeing as how midrange Menagerie Paladin already kinda works, that doesn't even sound that crazy.
With all of the new cards the quest is really easy to complete and Galvadon is absolutely insane. I think its like a 75% chance to make it an OTK card.
This card is set to Type: Minion but all the other Quests are set to Type: Ability
Remember yesterday when completing this quest seemed like a pipe dream?
I can see priest running mass dispell for the mirror match, so I don't see this card being that good.
