This card reminds me of Astral Communion. A very all-in approach, could lead to very fun games but could just backfire, or you get it too late. But unlike Communion, this card could be great in the late game when you don't want to lifetap anymore. It's just so unreliable; you have no idea what you'll get.
*Guldan putting his Warlock cards in his deck locker*
Your opponent: Hey buddy I think you got the wrong class, another class is 2 mana crystals down.
Guldan: Fuck you! I'm renouncing my Van Darkness
I'll show you who's boss of this game
Did Forsen announce this card?
Am I supposed to find a difference here? Because there clearly isn't one.
That's hero power, son, THAT'S POWER!
This may be interesting for inspire effects. Let's say you have a kvaldir raider or Mukla's champion with a minion or two. You then hero power, renounce darkness, hero power, renounce darkness, hero power giving your three hero powers in a single turn... or if you had out a maiden of the lake and a sir finely you can get 4 hero powers.... And that's everything I can think of that you could really plan for...
Anyone else think it would be funny to renounce darkness and then sir finely drags you back into the dark hero power?
If you use one Renounce Darknes, you lost the other, because it is a Warlock card...
Renounce darkness is a warlock card, and thus replaced by Renounce darkness, you'll only ever get to play it once per match.
This should have been a priest card.
But seriously, this might be good if you realize that you're up against a horrible match-up and you're almost guaranteed to lose right from the start. Handlock versus Mill Druid or something.
This card should've been made for priest (Randuin Wrynn)
Its rather garbage, sure you get a one mana discount, but you basically have worse than an arena deck for the rest of the game. You also lose the best hero power in the game.
Trolden videos, here they come.
A really weird super-Unstable Portal for warlock. Kind of. I like it.
What's the strat?
- Deck is 30 warlock cards
- Get the 1 mana discount for the rest of the game.
Seems very random, but really cool at the same time!
OMG WHAT
I find this a very amusing card. It will be interesting if you get to pick the class or if it just hands you one.
if you have this card in gold will every new card be gold?
Next expansion: Grey Face and No Space meta incoming.
