How to Clear the Upper Reaches Effectively - Frozen Throne Adventure
The Upper Reaches, the second wing of the Frozen Throne adventure is now live worldwide. Three new fights are yours for the taking along with a Frozen Throne card pack if you can defeat them all. You best get in there so that you're ready to take on the Lich King next week to earn yet another card pack.
Upper Reaches - Blood Queen Lana'thel
Our first boss this week is Blood Queen Lana'thel! This fight turns your hero into a vampire and requires that you buff a minion every turn through with your Vampiric Bite or... YOU DIE!
Upper Reaches - Professor Putricide
Good news everyone! Professor Putricide is in da house and he's been doing crazy things for science! This fight has three different stages to it with very different passive effects that will secretly test your power.
Upper Reaches - Sindragosa
The final fight of the week brings us to the Frost Wyrm, Sindragosa. She really hates you and just wants to flood your board with Block of Ice to prevent you from having any fun. Arms up!
Zoo lock for the first boss, just make any deck that is guaranteed to have one new minion each turn. Dreadsteed works well
Am I the only one who thinks this missions are too easy ?
Stomped everything with my wild Uther Paly . It wasn't even funny .
any one knows when asia will get the wing ?

Sindragosa - OTK priest.
Putricide - Taunt Warrior
Blood Queen - OTK priest
This is free content and they are giving rewards for doing this content that they are giving us for free... Why are people so salty?
Haters gotta hate, and mostly they hate hate haters ;)
Just because content is free doesn't mean you can't have an opinion about it and imo the bosses were fine, but since there is no heroic mode I was hoping for something a little harder.
People are salty because it's super easy. Blizzard said that this adventure will be harder but it's actually really easy. And there is no heroic mode to help that either. And yeah, as Stormbringer said, just because it's free doesn't mean we can't have an opinion about it.
my experience at first try:
murloc paladin
mage dk
control priest (with archbishop), i used fatigue tactic and win
At least we receive something in return, better than nothing! (But i'd prefer a pack for boss)
Fun emote from Sindragosa if you play Lich King against her
A couple of friends on my list were having trouble with the adventures so I put the decks up on here with minor explanations in case you guys were getting stuck too. Don't worry they are all rather cheap and can be made with current standard cards which will help you new players out.
Cheap token druid for Blood Queen since you always need allied minions on board.
Priest deck I used against Putricide. This adventure is where I had the most fun. So many small things to play around and you can buff your secret keeper insanely large.
The cheap hunter I used against Sindragosa. Just make sure to trade your board off except for the large minion you are using to knock down her health past the thresholds.
Thanks man, your hunter deck helped a lot with Sindragosa, the hero power dealing 2 damage every turn really helps controlling the board (what??)
Beat Lanathal with a Demon Gul'Dan deck. Putricide and Sindragosa with Jade Druid
I didn't really enjoy this wing, the first wing was one of the best experiences I have had with an adventure but the second wing was really easy and not that fun.
For boss one or Blood Queen I used a control Priest deck and it worked quite well seeing that I one with ease on my first try.
For the second boss or Professor Putricide I used a mix between secret Hunter and Midrange hunter, it worked well, I one first try.
For the third and final boss of the wing or Sindragosa I used a control Warlock hybrid with more focus on "destroy a friendly minion" effects like Shadowflame so i could get rid of excess minions on the turn that i wanted to trigger Sindragosa's passive, it took me two tries to defeat her using this deck.
I actually really enjoyed Sindragosa. While I agree that Lanathel and Putricide were....meh, compared to everyone else, Sindragosa took some planning. I beat her with a Quest Taunt warrior, but only through strict control of not only her board, but mine as well.
This actually excites me to see what's in store for Good Ol' Arthus.
i Agree, the 3 bosses before Lana'thel were a tough, but good balanced challenge, that took some thinking. About those 3 new ones, with the exception of sindragosa, where i took quest hunter with no spell to defeat her, the other 2, Lanathel and professor were really easy, i even thinked that they should be at the bottom of the citadel because of how easy those 2 were.
I understand they want to release the expansion during the night in EU to prevent their potato servers from crashing but why do we have to wait for this as well? It's "just" an adventure wing it will never cause nearly as much traffic as an expansion release....
