Arena is luck-based, you cannot "improve" at it. Sure, you have choices, but when yours are between an axe, a sword, and a whip and your opponent's is between a shotgun, a pistol, and a nuke, you just can't win.
Think about it: you are paying to get a free imp until the opponent silences it, and provided you are wise and don't ever buff it that means precious silence is going into a 1/1. It has man synergy with cards like Anima Golem and Void Terror as well, plus it makes the most of Power Overwhelming. And if all that wasn't enough, this will ruin cards like Dr Boom and Avenging Wrath - have fun sending all that damage into a 1/1 over, and over, and OVER again.
But a 1/1 doesn't do anything in WoW. This isn't MtG, it can't be used as a blocker or anything. It just sits there and hits something for 1. If that mechanic was so good you'd see a lot more Light's Justice being played...
Games developed by reaction are always going to be 2nd-rate. Hearthstone has already cemented the genre in the same way Heroes of the Storm won't even come close to the revenue of DotA and LoL.
3rd option - They're stupid. It's RNG-based. You either get an overpowered card like Consecrate or Truesilver or you get a useless card like Eye for an Eye.
Either way, no complaints necessary as Nefarian is already in the game.
Face Hunter would be your best bet to win quick as a new player as you wouldn't need to comprehend the concepts of tempo or card advantage. I would recommend avoiding Mech Mage in your situation because you need to understand tempo to make correct Mechwarper plays. (Same applies to Druid with wild growth curves and innervate plays)
this thread could just as well been from 2014 without anybody knowing (check for necros!) because the OP is apparently surprised that people use face hunter to climb the bo1 ladder format....
I think this card is going to see alot of play...2 innervates turn 5 Aviana allows some crazy things to happen...after that everything is huge drops that cost 1 mana each.
Ok. Then you just lose every game where you don't have that opening hand (because you're implying your hand is full of 6+ cost legendaries... which it would need to be in order for that play to have a good followup)
AGAIN, it just goes back to the post I quoted. This card forces you to build a very slow, high cost deck which obviously loses to every aggro and midrange deck
Ok, first off, this will not be a coinflip. Against rush decks you will always win. If they are forced to kill this you will be getting insane value off of it. Taunting it up will be very useful vs. face decks as they will usually have to 2 for 1 into a 4 health minion, and then you get to play it again. The opponent will keep 0-for-1 ing himself. Also resistant to BGH in many situations. The only problem is the enemy can sometimes disregard him.
1) It doesn't have taunt 2) It doesn't have taunt 3) Now you're catching on
It's funny how in MTG cards like Twisting Nether can potentially shape the meta since resetting the board is such a powerful effect. But in hearthstone no one gives a fuck lol
because HS is way more tempo based than MTG is because of how much of a timer you're put on as early as turn 1 when things can just face hit you all day

Spellbender is just a worse counterspell against everything other than buffs. And since most classes don't use buffs, well, there ya go.

MMO-C has a hearthstone subforum, despite both sites being sister sites owned by Curse. lul
