A few minutes ago, new WoW expansion has been revealed! The Legion! Pretty cool stuff is going on; I won't be writing "Everything..." about the new xpac but I'll just note a few cool things;
Illidan, Turalyon and Alleria has been returned!
Demon Hunter class with 2 specs (Tank and DPS) for Blood and Night Elves (I think)
You get artifact weapons - simply; gear of lore characters. For example; Ashbringer, Doomhammer (RIP in piece Thrall BibleThump), Druid Form; Fangs of the First Saber (?) and MUCH MUCH MORE!
"Broken Isles" continent with Tomb of Sargeras and other Burning Legion stuff.
Dalaran is back!
Main theme of the expansion is that AU Gul'dan somehow reaches our Azeroth and finds Tomb of Sargeras. Using the tomb, he manages to summon armies of demons to Azeroth. To stop this invasion we have to find some Pillar Artifacts(?) that has something to do with Titans. We battle our way to find those pillars and fight with some main lore villains like Xavius or (if I'm not mistaken) Azshara. Seems like they learned from their mistakes with Garrisons (from what I've heard, I had to skip WoD) so there will be way less followers that won't care about what you do. Also PvP Honor System is changing where you get Honor and Talents achieved with Honor, while some cosmetics like mounts, and a prestige system if I'm not mistaken(I'm not a PvP'er). And probably the most un-important thing, you get skins for your weapons (Like flaming Ashbringer, lol) which I think murders the lore a bit, but pretty cool overall.
In conclusion, I want you to know I'm not a WoW veteran at all, I started during end-Cata and I couldn't experience WoD since I had to build a PC around that time (inb4 "no one cares, nerd") and I'd like to see what do you guys think about the new xpac, if you watched the stream, or if you haven't (or stopped playing during WoD or Cata, maybe :P ) are you hyped? Are you going to resub after these stuff? Do you think they learned from their major mistakes which probably destroyed all the cool things about WoD (WoD for me is the expansion with the best theme compared to others, but I really don't have a clue about Garrison stuff) or is WoW bleeding to death?

Bought WoD, leveled to 100, enjoy it for like the first month or two. Quit after that.
Sees Demon Hunter, will probably do the same haha. Still the best MMORPG I've ever played but I can't justify $15 a month consistently because I don't always play it hehe. I'm hyped for all the new stuff with all the new Blizz games though!
I only just got into WoW about 2 months ago. I've got a Shaman leveling through WotLK. High 70's.
I'm glad it seems I'll get to skip Draenor outside of leveling; what I've heard about it at Lv100 isn't good, but the leveling experience is apparently good there.
Two things strike me however:
With this being some sort of final showdown with the Legion, and us getting these artifact weapons which everyone basically has to use, dosen't it feel kinda... like a conclusion?
Also; we get Doomhammer. Thrall's weapon. At the event they said some allies have 'lost hope'. Thrall isn't even listed as a major character on the Blizzard site for Legion. Has Thrall given up?
Done with that game for good. The last 3 expansions all turned out to be disappointing and I quite a few months after each release, not gonna waste my money on this one although the trailer looks promising (which has been the case for the other expansions as well; Blizz just knows how to build the hype). In addition to that, I'm wasting too much time on hs already, there's no time for another game.
I have given into the hype and bought every expansion ever released and have been routinely disappointed after WotLK. I won't fall for it this time. The Burning Crusade was the best and will never be beaten, I feel as though Blizzard makes most of it's WoW money from nostalgic gamers in their 30s, it will just never be the same and who the hell has time for that anymore.

(a comment filled with pre-release hate saying that wow is dead and is not needed in 2015, blizzard are bad, blah blah blah)
