Facehunter I dislike - Midrange/Beast I love: Playing Dreadscale against a Zoo/Paladin/Aggro is so much fun. Combo with Acidmaw and it wipes out what ever your opponent had planned - opponents board wipe and you still have a 4/2 Dreadscale AND 4/1 Acidmaw to wipe whatever they play next if they do not have removal.
We do nothing, eventually it'll come back. Until then, let's enjoy the tranquility of a diverse meta.
So much this.
Not to mention, Hearthstone like every other CCG has powerful decks we haven't discovered yet. Given time, things can still change without changing the cards themselves.
Hunter's the worst class? What? Are you sure you're playing HS?
This. I've been playing around Rank 10 the past few days and I've faced 6 hunters in a row, with half of them being face hunters. It's not at the top like it used to be but it's most certainly not the worst yet.
So hunter first time since alpha not under the top 3 in winning ratio. Ill say it can stay there for a while. No other class was ever so without trouble.
And maybe in 1-2 Expantions control hunter will be a thing. For face ill hope itll stay borderline unplayable like it is now.
I don't think control Hunter will ever be as viable as something like control Priest or Warrior. Blizzard just seems way too afraid to give Hunter decent card draw after the Buzzard nerf, which is seriously important in a control deck.
If you want to play a brainless agro deck, you'd rather play face shaman, because Face hunter is just a second best atm. If you want to play midrange/tempo, you'd rather play Paladin, zoolock, mage, etc. If you want to play control, you'd rather play everything else.
Midrange Hunter isn't bad but it's still not great, although Highmane into Boom is still one of the strongest curves in the game. Face Hunter is just outclassed in every regard right now, and unless an aggro deck arises that Face Shaman can't handle it's not likely to change.
Hunter's definately aren't the worst class. I feel that shaman is. Tho there's alot of aggro shamans around, my win rate against them seems to be about 80% while its only about 50% against hunters.
I can play mid-range Hunter to legend regardless of the meta or where it's "ranked". People misunderstand rankings, just because something drops to tier 2 or 3 even, doesn't mean the deck isn't capable of achieving high ranks. In the case of mr Hunter it just didn't get powerful new toys like the other classes but it's still a solid deck and if you know the deck and equally as important, the matchups, you can do very well with it.
My Deathrattle Hunter (guess you'd call it a Mid-Range as it can vary wildly between slow control style play and aggressive early dominance depending on your opponent) is the deck I go to when I'm having a bad day with other decks. The wins always make me feel better.
Hunter is in a decent enough place. It's most powerful previous variant (Facehunter) isn't so great right now, so you see less Hunters than ever right now, and Mid-range and Hybrid didn't really get any fancy new toys (except for Explorer's Hat, which is fun but not as powerful as other class cards in LoE) so not many people are trying new things. I'd love to see Hunter get another AoE (Explosive Trap only gets you so far), but even that isn't terribly necessary right now.
Shaman, becomes the worst class with no viable archetypes for a year - no one cares. Hunter, a still pretty good class that is only currently somewhat underplayed is not as strong for a month or so - people cry for buffs.

Hardly. I play only Rogue, I've been destroyed by facehunters probably more than anyone else.
That doesn't mean face hunter can't get help.

I think Rogue is the worst class atm really. I'm still meeting a lot of Hunters
Imho, the author of this thread is right because:

Rogue is the worst class, You still can play and win with hunter flavors
Greetings, traveler.
Let's make Hunter great.

My Hunter:
Trying Real Hard To Keep Hunter Relevant

I think this is still relevant.
Do people want Face Hunter buffs, or just make Hunter another dull midrange deck?
