I ended up opening up a King Krush in my tavern brawl deck so I ended up finally making a big beast hunter deck, and my first match was against an aggro pally. They ended up filling up their board by turn 4, with the help of Call to Arms but played right into the Explosive Trap I played the turn before, wiping out his entire board. I still lost the match but the awkward ~50 second pause after he triggered the trap made me not care at all

I don't have something witty about this deck, I just like it because Malygos is fun.
"You will wither and rot." "The cycle of decay begins." "Staggering!"
Over and over again. He thought he had it locked.
Great game through and through, but if the replay is too long please just skip ahead to 16 where I build the game-winning beast, or to 18 where I play it on his over-committed board.
I’ve been playing meta decks and just trying to get really good at one. I decided to take a break and play some good old miracle rogue and I just went on a seven game win streak with it. Hoping it’ll be even more viable next expac
After smashing my opponents with Reno Mage, Cubelock, Dragon Combo Priest and OTK Maly Druid I've finally managed to hit legend on all 3 servers. 2 Wild legends and 1 Standard(Control Dragon Priest). The most satisfying was an EU one because it was the hardest. I've also met some non meta funny decks. Milver if you are reading this good luck on hitting legend with that Aggro Murloc Priest!!! Your deck was unique and amazing. :D It felt good because I had no idea what to expect and I was really happy to see someone playing his unique deck on rank 1.)
After a hard grind today I managed to hit rank 1 as a control warlock. The last three wins were exceptionally satisfying, because 1) the first game was very close (against secret hunter); I could have died at the beginning, 2) the second game was an unfavourable MU (quest mage) and I won because of luck*; 3) third game was against weapon rogue and I could have lost it, if the opponent milled either a Gnomeferatu or Gluttonous Ooze. Oh and btw the last two games were also against legend players.
Now I only have to conquer one more rank and I will be done with the Year of the Mammoth. Wish me luck, guys. :P
Note* (the luck part)
I got a Dirty Rat from Stonehill Defender. You are probably guessing what happened next, but tbh I didn't only rely on pure luck to win it - I had a Coldlight Oracle in my hand and my opponent had 9 cards, so I tried to mill 2 of them the old fashion way. I missed, but then the mage played Frost Nova into a Doomsayer. And yeah... let's just say, that I was the one saying "Ahaaa" at the end.
Note 2 - And to keep you entertained, here is a pic of my final boss, when I tried to reach rank 2. I just want to say, that he was extremely unlucky at the end, I kinda pitied him, because he played really well and he was a nice guy too. After the match we didn't stop wishing each other pleasant things. :D
Just laddering for fun with Kingsbane Rogue and get matched against Big Priest. He coins out Barnes on turn 3 and gets 1/1 Y'Shaarj into 10/10 Y'Shaarj, yep...who would have thought. Right after this happens he is all cocky with his 'Greetings'...well, I won, because I sapped the 10/10, killed Barnes and played Doomsayer, then I succesfully stalled the game until I played Oracle madness with double shadowstep and he conceded. Of course, it was my turn to say 'Hail friend' which was pretty damn satisfying :D
Last night I had an amazing game against Control Priest in Wild. We all know that Priests will always be the wild control kings (just because of cards like Quest,Arcibishop,Lightbomb,Entomb and so on). Well, turns out Reno Mage can fight against it.)
Well... No sure if this even fits here as I am more dumbfounded than peppered. I have a under average Arena Paladin run... 0-2 and facing a Warrior. He Doom Pacts into fatigue and I Blessing of Wisdom. In the end I clear his board but end up with 1 hp and no cards. It's his turn and he... concedes. I am not sure if he raged or did not know that fatigue will kill me. Will probably of 1-3 with this deck but still... Strangest game I had in HS, I think.
hey guys, check this out. FOR DA MEMES!
Whoohoo I'm rank 3 with half the season left! Legend next?

When even 4 Ice Blocks, 2 Frost Novas and 2 Blizzards aren't enough... Probably one of my most satisfying wins. https://hsreplay.net/replay/ZW6qXyPHzK7Wp4M8eoSGW6

Priest Mirror, Turn 1 Northshire Cleric from me. His followup was coining out his two copies.
Thank you for the low rank mistake and let me mill you from turn 2 on.

To be great is to be misunderstood.
Beat an exodia mage after they played FOUR Ice Blocks. She panicked and played Time Warp way too early. Lost the combo as a result. Happy days.
*Bullying Control Priest varriations intensifies* Gotta love Wild casual :D
