Conjurer's Calling from (3) to (4) Mana. This is a good nerf. It will hinder the deck a bit. But it is not going to kill it either.
Agreed.
Luna's Pocket Galaxy from (5) back to (7) Mana. Horrible nerf! This is going to kill Reno Mage. Realistically, it will be a tier 3 deck. There is no way playing 7 Mana do nothing will hold in this meta or any other meta. It was clear (6) Mana was the sweet spot for it.
Disagree. I think LPG is the type of card that if it's playable, it's broken. There's no "fair" cost for LPG.
Dr. Boom, Mad Genius from (7) to (9) Mana. I don't like this nerf, though I admit it might do its job in lowering Control Warrior winrate. But still might not be enough. I would have preferred if they kept the cost and nerfed its Hero Powers and Omega Devastator.
Agreed. I don't think this does much to make Boom less oppressive.
Extra Arms from (2) back to (3) Mana. This nerf wasn't needed in my opinion. And even if they need to do it. I would have preferred the first copy to be (3) Mana and More Arms! stays at (2) Mana.
Disagree. This card was insane at 2 mana. Priest just didn't have any good minions to play with it. Now it does. I do think DS/IF is the bigger issue, though.
Barnes from (4) to (5) Mana. Hard to tell if this nerf will affect Big Priest that much. I still think the deck is very consistent and have so many tools that it will evade any harm from this nerf.
I don't think it will. It's just basically a 3rd Shadow Essence now. But I am also in the camp that thinks the wild community severely overreacts to Big Priest.
Warrior is the real slap in the face though. That Boom could come out on turn 7 were never the issue...
Yes, it is, Boom in 7 give the warrior precious survavility to reach turn 10 and start the endless omega plays.
Are 7 armor and all the mechs starting to be a removal or instant gain more armor, this nerf maybe don't change nothing in control x control matchs but the odds for aggro and midrange increased a lot, plus, for 9 manas the warrior can't use the hero power gaining unbeliable 14 armor in the same turn.
Don't will turn control warrior into crap but is a very welcome nerf.
I'm fine with these, would have liked to see Conjurer's Calling twinspell ability removed instead of a mana nerf, but this an a Luna's nerf is quite a bit for Mage.
Extra Arms nerf is a little unfortunate, but I'm fine with it either way.
Not a huge Wild player so the Barnes nerf doesn't truly affect me, but it will be nice to not have to see the NERF BARNES or "we are still gathering data" comments!
After seeing these, I am really hoping for a HoF move for Archivist Elysiana since there isn't a nerf. The card is just the worst! All it does is create an unnecessary means to extend a game.
EDIT: Also, I don't really think the Dr. Boom nerf is very significant. The same issues and complaints will still be there, they will just be able to more consistently beat Mages now. I'm not sure what the correct nerf is for Warrior, but Boom to 9 mana isn't it.
I call those lazy nerfs they would nerf giants Krip's way so it would be more effective their decreased value should have stayed as decreased on board to so when they use conjurer's calling it would summon minions over discounted amount.
What a pathetic nerf patch, basically 60% of the nerfed cards are irrlevant. Let me explain:
Barnes is wild only, and the nerf is not even enough, delaying him by one turn makes no difference as Archmage Vargoth can still be played on turn 4, and shadow essence is played on turn 6 following a turn 5 Barnes or board clear.
Luna's Pocket Galaxy & Extra Arms basically returned to their original state so this is a mistake on Blizzard's part. I think Extra Arms could have been 3 mana and the More Arms! to 2 mana but whatever. Luna's Pocket Galaxy could have been redesigned (many nice ideas from the folks on these forums) or made into 6 mana but again whatever typical Blizzard obliterating a card, it was "buffed" for a reason that it was crap and not seeing play.
So the only real nerfs are Conjurer's Calling and Dr. Boom, Mad Genius. While Conjurer's Calling is substantial and deserved it will not greatly affect mage as their freeze and stall can let them be patient for a Khadgar + x1 Conjurer's Calling turn. Nerfing Dr. Boom, Mad Genius by two mana while significant doesnt change much from control Warrior as their deck and game plan will remain the same, the change will just give midrange decks and some aggressive decks a chance which is nice.
So in conclusion this won't shake up the meta as people will think, where is Prismatic Lens nerf or Omega Devastator. Maybe singleton "Control" hunter can compete now.
Pathetic nerfs if you ask me, basically 60% of the nerfed cards are irrelevant:

they could have at least tried to goldylox the buffs. Luna -->6 (and I hate that card) and more arms--> 3 but not extra arms. Its not like extra arms was auto include in any deck. combo priests have to have a minion to put on the board and the combo with draw is like 10 cards, it is such a pathetically easy deck to beat that it just blows my mind. Sure 40% they get perfect hand and there's not much you can do. One of them has surely been kicked in the head by a horse when they were a just a young little baby child. How tragic.

No HoF Mountain Giant. Guess Blizz didn't want to give everyone 800+ dust.

Huge disappointment. They buff it to nerf a few months after to the same original cost.
WTF INDIE COMPANY.
I'm sorry for my bad english :D
i was hoping Pocket Galaxy to be no more than 6.... now its useless. 7 mana do nothing is barely competitive.

Completely agree. 6 was the obvious choice but blizzard is retarded.
I'm still playing Luna's Pocket Galaxy... just saying.
Overall they are pretty good as expected.
But i would have hoped for Northshire Cleric to be nerfed, or changed aswell. (maybe something else than carddraw on a 1/3 body)

Luna’s should be 6

Mage still has great tools to stay relevant, just need to find a new win condition for grindy games.
(5) Barnes change nothing in Big priest.. I wold like other changes, like Obesidian Statue lost your taunt or maybe lifesteal
Wild Decks: Jurassic Park OTK | Highlander Hunter | Deathrattle Highlander Priest | Highlander Warlock | AlchemistLord Warlock

Any nerf to warriors, priests and mages....
... is a good nerf in my book. ;)
#ROGUELIFE
They nerfed 3 legendaries...do you even logic?
I posted mine at pretty much the same time as this one, It didn't exist when I created the thread :(
This will do absolutely nothing for Wild, Big Priest will stay bullshit even without Barnes
