People that plays wild hated Big priest high roll with Barnes and now we see more ressurect cards with total disregard for a healthy wild game. Totally uncreative in my opinion
I honestly think they plan to nerf barnes - they're just seeing how far they can push it. They would like to leave wild as it is, but are testing playerbase reaction to an extremely unpopular deck getting a buff. If the reaction is as bad as they expect they will nerf barnes. If it isn't, well win-win for them.

Because. Wild. Doesn't. Fucking. Matter.
Everything ever released from now until the end of the game will buff wild decks because wild is an eternal format. It will only get more degenerate because that's what eternal formats do.
Ok, fisrt, please don't spread threads about this, lets keep just one.
Second, ....i don't know, maybe for once they'll nerf some wild cards like Naga Sea Witch who got destroyed as resolvt
The only thing i can say is, after i read some replies, Catrina migth not be the most busted outcome from barnes, since you can kill barnes an she will revive it, increasing the chances of rng resummoned barnes.
But yeah, i think the archtype by itself requires a nerf at this point.
Wild big priests are getting annihilated by kingsbane pirate rogues. As a wild main, I don't think the new two cards (mass resurrection and the new legendary) can push it back to tier 1. But still, there's no way for control decks to effectively counter big priest is frustrating at times.
They want people to craft big priest, wait a few months and then annihilate it into oblivion, like they did with Shudderwock. Do you think they are stupid? No, they want you to spend dust, as many players on this forum like to accumulate it.
I don't understand the notion of buffing wils priest. I dont think muerte will be run, wild has already kel thuzad. And I am not sure about mass res. Maybe a one of?
But I dont believe that the deck is pushed a lot, simply because the card pool is already that strong.
I don't see the buff, both cards revealed concerning revive mechanics can summon barnes, the 9 mana spell can revive Barnes even trice lol
every card can revive barnes if you played it, and it doesn't stop the archtype., Is not like you couldn't summon it from all the other spell but Eternal Servitude

It's the manner of the degeneracy. Almost everyone expects wild to be somewhat broken compared to standard. There is something about the way big priest games play out that irks many players more than your standard overpowered wild deck. I think it has as much to do with the fact that if they draw poorly they just sit there and let you beat on them and lose. That is about as much fun as facing endless revived 8+mana drops from turn 4 onwards. The deck takes the coinflip aspect of hearthstone to the nth degree. It's a mechanic problem rather than power.
Are the new cards really buffing it that much though? Yeah, there are more rez tools, BUT they are all high-mana costs. I don't play big priest but I've faced enough of them and if you are on turn 8 and the priest has a big minion or two in the rez pool, you're likely done anyway. So they got a 9 mana spell that rez's three minions? Big deal, they already can do that at 7 mana.
And also, don't forget the Catrina minion is actually BAD for barnes, because if you pull her with Barnes, you're going to get nothing OR Barnes messing up your rez pool.
Big priest doesn't need more 8+ mana tools to rez more things. Think, what do they take out for these new cards? Their weakness is an early game aggro/tempo which none of these do anything for.
Don't get me wrong, I hate big priest. I hope it dies a quick but painful death. But I'm not freaking out that these things are going to make it that much stronger, or that they would be even added into the deck at all.
I doubt big priest will even run mass res or the new legendary. Eternal servitude, ressurection and spellstone are still better, and that is plenty of ressurection effects for the deck to work.
Yea, I don't see how a 9 mana do nothing the whole game and hope for a swing turn late game is really going to be a defining card to replace something else that is not already even more broken.
Mass Resurrection won't be run in Wild, the Spellstone is just better and I can't think of anything they'd want to remove in favour of it. I actually think it's really neatly designed.
Catrina could see some play, for sure, but I don't really see her being any more of an issue than other strong minions which Big Priest would run. Like, they only have so many deck spaces, if they want to add her they have to remove some other good minion.
People really need to calm down and actually think about how cards will be used before immediately assuming they're going to be broken. I don't see either of these cards being so much stronger than an existing card in Big Priest that it pushes the deck over the edge somehow.

I think alot of people is asking themselfs that question XD,

Somone told em that we love being screwed over by Barnes priest. 1st kingsbane nerf and now this.
time to craft big pri i guess
Can you explain your point some more. Like how is Big Priest getting buffed in you opinion?
I mean, the new legendary doesn't work with the high-roll, so actually has anti-synergy with the deck mechanics

Neither of these cards will see play in big priest, period.
If you think any card that mentions the resurrect mechanic in any way, shape or form buffs big priest then you've never played (against) the deck.
Stop these threads, please.

No card revealed so far will replace anything from Big Priest. Lets say the new cards are worse than the ones available in wild.
