We all know blizzard takes too long to balance their games, how long do you think it'll take before they deal with this cancerous meta? Im guessing we have a whole nother 2 more months of this "diversity"
Don’t know. Probably here the time will be even more longer. Due to also internal issues that now probably Blizzard has. Generally is a long month and half. So more than 3 months maybe
FWIW - HSReplays is currently tracking 22 decks with win-rates above 50%, which appears to be unprecedented. I've screen-shotted the website every week since Un'Goro launched, and the previous "record" was 16. For only the second time in the past year, every class fields at least one deck above 50%, and all but Shaman are capable of fielding at least two. I've found that the meaning which most folks attach to the term "balance" on casual gaming sites like Hearthpwn amounts to something like, "I don't like it . . ." It isn't a particularly helpful way of engaging with the community, but lots of folks don't really care, and when they don't like something, they find value in simply bitching about it.
There are some well-discussed tweaks that would be helpful for the game - nerfs to Call to Arms, Spiteful Summoner and Possessed Lackey have been mentioned at length, and all of them seem appropriate. It's also worthwhile remembering that there have been regular balance patches to this game since the format split two years ago - roughly two months after every expansion, or adventure, the devs have nerfed problematic cards. This hasn't made any impression on lots of folks, who prefer to pretend that Blizzard isn't engaged with their own game. It's also worth recalling that nerfs have usually rolled out after the first "big" HCT event - the Summer play-downs finish in May, so it seems likely that the WW balance patch will drop at the end of this month, or the beginning of next. We'll have to wait and see . . .
shaman is new warlock from ungoro meta, there are many decks and variants of them, if by fixing you mean making meta control-only then answer is "never", life is too short to play 30-40 minutes games only
There are multiple top-tier decks that fit a lot of different play styles.
The meta is much more balanced now (and for the past few expansions) than it ever has been.
If you think it's bad now just look back at:
Shamanstone
Who am I? None of your Business!
a time when "Leeroy Jenkins created a strategy that revolved around trying to defeat your opponent in one turn without requiring any cards on the board. Fighting for board control and battles between minions make an overall game of Hearthstone more fun and compelling, but taking 20+ damage in one turn is not particularly fun or interactive. "
Everyone, get in here!! (and other Warsong Commander Shenanigans)
My opponent is a Druid, I have 15 hp, and now I'm going into cold sweats
Meta is not "cancerous", just boring. Probably it feels that way because Cubelock is something coming from before the Year of the Raven, so it feels so stale why WW had given some interesting new building options (but I agree that Aggro Paladin is just so annoying in all its forms).

For what profit is it to a man, if he gains the world and loses his own soul?
Assuming they keep a similar pattern to how they've been handling balance changes for the last few expansions, they'll likely make some changes within the month unless they decide there isn't a problem. But tbh even if they make changes the game will never be 100% balanced and that's okay.

That's quite the assumption that you're applying to everyone. Blizzard is deliberate with balance changes because they affect consumer confidence in how we spend dust, that doesn't necessarily make them too slow. Stop comparing decks you don't like a terminal disease you big baby. The meta is quite diverse but all playable decks are streamlined and powerful.
I believe when people say "balance" they mean they should be able to compete with bad decks and mediocre cards which will never be the case. Anyway you're a dipshit, try getting better at Hearthstone, scrub.

Hmm, Less than 2 month old account. Language indicates long term player. So....troll account or banned account using an alt account to continue trolling? You be the decision! (or perhaps the moderators can look into where you're connecting from and ban this account too! #Happy)
Anyhow, no. People don't mean "bad or mediocre" cards. They mean being able to outplay or outthink your opponent. Some matchups are just bad from the onset, but there's some matchups where no matter what you do you can't prevent your opponents win condition. Or, some matchups you have no tools (i.e. cards) at your disposal to disrupt the enemies plan, but you did at one point. (read: dirty rat).
Here, watch this video and MAAAAYBE, just maybe....you'll understand how a lot of people are feeling right now.
Meta is not cancerous by any means. Please stop doing this shit every time a new expansion comes out.
found the cubelock player
Played cubelock for about 5 games and will not play it again. I find it quite boring to play actually. Right now, I'm playing my shitty lady in white priest deck and quest paladin at rank 4.
Oh, I guess you would rather play in the amazing Razakus+Cubelock meta or the super fun Jade Druid meta at the start of KOFT.
Simple answer: Game isn't fun anymore? STOP PLAYING IT.
I forgot that having an opinion isn't allowed outside of the salt thread.
Having some frequent updates and balancing to cards would only make the game feel fresher and more cards would see play. I don't see why people are defending Blizzard on this, it's something normal for pretty much all multiplayer games,

Game being unbalanced and you sucking at it are two completely different things.
In my opinion, I don't think that the meta is too unbalanced right now, it's just boring that 2 of the 3 main deck archetypes are ones we had in kobolds, despite the rotation. It just isn't interesting to face Cubelock, Even Paladin, Cubelock, Tempo Rogue, Even Paladin, Odd Rogue, Cubelock, over and over again. There might be changes, just not based on balance reasons.

It will never be balanced enough to satisfy everyone. Just go with it.

A never-Legend Dad who keeps making rank 2 or 1, but then sliding.
Rumbling around Gurubashi Arena. Shirvallah is the best loa. Go Tigers!
Oh please.
Every expansion, somebody pisses and moans about the balance of the meta. Rarely are they correct.
Please. Enlighten us as to what is so awful.

Why do people presume the balance issues aren't intentional?
Free to try and find a game, dealing cards for sorrow, cards for pain.
