Well, if my control decks get countered, I'd prefer that happening by unfairly greedy or powerful control deck to Jade Druid. I don't enjoy the matchup though, especially if it's another Druid, and I don't like how it also has a good chance of wrecking midrange as well as control.
I don't think it's very strong or very weak. The combo is pretty hard to pull off (You need to have Naga Sea Witch and some giants in your hand before your opponent kills you and if they destroy your board somehow you just lose).
What I find strange about the change is it's obviously deliberately planned by blizzard to shake wild up. They knew that it would result in ultra powerful (tier 1/tier 2) decks, across multiple classes and very little to do with class identity. It's almost like they did it to force people back into standard where they know they've been losing players, thanks to jade druid, which they refuse to nerf into the ground, as would be appropriate.
I've played both the druid and warlock version - they are certainly extreme high roll decks but they do seem a tad too consistent. yes there are plenty of other broken archetypes in wild - but this one reminds me strongly of the charging giant deck of the beta days (i.e it's unfair as hell), I'm really not sure it's healthy for the game. Do we really want wild to just become Giants Vs Lightbomb?
There is 30+/30+ on turn 5 seems pretty fair, great job changing naga sea witch blizzard. It's much more consistent than big priest because of stitched trackers and kings elekks, this deck needs to go ASAP its bullshit
Lol friend request sent,i bet you are one of those guys wishing "cancer"on other players.Well if thats the case you deserved the stomping.

Exactly my thought about it: more and more people realize how bad standard is and so they force people back to standard, delivering more wild cancer decks. Because Wild made fun and blizzard first rule is: their games are not supposed to be fun!

I dint receive any request, anyways I don't even get mad i just find really stupid someone enjoying playing a deck like that, there is literally no answer to it apart from lightbomb, pyro+equality, frost nova+doomsayer, if you need to play a deck like that too win that really tells something about you
The only way u win against this crap is hope and pray he has no giants and his king elks loses the joust other than that there is no counter light bomb u need to off if ur priest at that moment cause he gonna not play all his giants if the person is smart
if you go first has priest yo can easily destroy with a lightbomb (which i've done most of the times against this) so i haven't had much trouble against it
It's not as bad as people are making it out to be, altho' the deck can blow out games with a Naga Sea Witch turn a lot of the times you don't have multiple gaints, you could've played Mountain Giant on turn 4 or they answer with Light Bomb, Brawl, Equality etc. It really feels like a gimic deck in anything but Warock, which ironically is the only control deck that can't effectively answer the threat on curve.
I think Shadow Visions and Light Bomb will keep this from being a real thing once people catch on, altho' I understand there are going to be some rage inducing moments when multiple Giants get dropped on turn 4 or 5 and there's no removal in sight. I think it'll be a net positive in Wild, if for no other eason Warlock has another viable deck and Magma Giant is playable again.
Think about all the other times you had to work to get 2 or more giants on the field in HS:
Handlock, giant mage, arcane giant shenanigans, etc....all that was typically turn 8-10 plus and had relevant counters.
Now you can do it on turn 5 (sooner with druid) for no particular reason...the wild meta was diverse and felt appropriate without this 100% neutral package so every class can try this nonsense out
if you go first has priest yo can easily destroy with a lightbomb (which i've done most of the times against this) so i haven't had much trouble against it
Lightbomb = 6 mana
Naga + Giants (not always but often) = 5 mana
Even if you go first, they can just coin into it on T4 and you sit there, unable to do anything. This doesn't even count the times the druid does it while you have 3/4 mana because he ramped up to get a giant out. I've only played the druid version and beat almost everything I faced, including two hunter versions of the deck. It's clearly too strong.
I've encountered it a few times (and also tried my own weird Warrior version of it).
In the same vein as the "Big Priest" it's incredibly effortless and cheesy, and it is disappointing to lose to, but it is not overpowered. The bigger they are, the harder they fall and all that...if you clear board, chances are they won't be making a comeback.
Because the Naga's discount like it works now is it not a bug?
Brode said they are aware that Naga Sea Witch decks are seeing higher activity, and it is not a bug.
Sneaky change though. I never saw any mention of it anywhere, why change a random obscure card like this? I'm sure before the change most people didn't know this card even existed, haha. Not that I'm complaining.
I have encountered this deck 5 times this season, won twice, lost 3 times.
I want to reach a final conclusion about this type of decks and was wondering what other players think about them.
Is it:
1. OP and broken
2. Inconsistent and therefore annoying but not more than that.
3. Easily countered and the buzz around it is too much.
4. Any other thought.
This is about the 5th thread on the matter
I have yet to encounter this deck in wild ladder and hope I never will. It's in the same vein as Ez Big Ez Priest
Legend with : S65 Freeze Mage, S57 Maly Gonk Druid, S57 "Okay" Shaman, S53 Boom-zooka Hunter, S53 Maly Tog Druid, S52 Wild Tog Druid ft.Blingtron, S50 Quest Rogue, S49 Dead Man's Warrior, S41 Wild Clown Fiesta Druid, S41 Hadronox Jade Druid, S40 Wild OTK Dragon Druid, S35 SMOrc Shaman, S33 Jade Druid, S22 Control Priest, S19 Control Priest

Heh. Feels good when Blizzard reaffirms that dusting wild cards is the right thing to do.
if you go first has priest yo can easily destroy with a lightbomb (which i've done most of the times against this) so i haven't had much trouble against it
I am playing Reno Priest right now so if I can't pull my Lightbomb or at least Shadow Visions to find it its a concede from me.

It feels:
1: unneeded
2: Uncalled for
3: Really stupid
Hhahahahahaha wild season is broken
Also, half this thread literally says:
"LOL it's no problem just have lightbomb"
LOL WUT? notice no other class is really mentioned. Pyro Equality......eh Ctrl pal not great in wild....brawl HAHA Ctrl warrior in wild....
and druid is the best version by far because it can reload easy...thanks to 5 mana Ultimate Infestations (either through ramp or naga) and nourish
Good wild streamers/players are were having 70%+ winrates over 50+ games easy.
Ugh I can't talk about it anymore...just ...F for respects

I'd say the Druid version is low Tier 2 at best.
Heh, it seems all viable decks in HS are either completely busted on value or cheese like this.
