I was playing a lot like 2-3hours a day, since last week tho I can barely play longer than 30 minutes.
I just really hate this meta or I'd play a lot more. its a coin flip meta, which I really never got to experience since I started played after tgt came out. I just get discouraged when I see bad players at high ranks, losing to them is such an insult to a good player and completely discouraging.
I don't usually play that much - usually Rank 10 or 15 for the dust milestones. 5 if I'm really motivated. I'm mostly here for theorycrafting and all that fun stuff.
Last season, I got Rank 11 with this stupid as hell deck:
I go through phases of playing ' too much' hearthstone, but it gets balanced out by other random games that I am playing at the time. Currently that is Battlefield 1.
Back in the day? Pretty addicted, spending hours playing non-stop for hours happened somewhat regularly.
Today? I normally log in every 2-3 days to the daily quests and then get out ASAP. Game feels absolutely miserable today with most matches being decided by either matchmaking or playing on curve. It's also pretty bad that the worst player winning is the norm here rather than the other way around thanks to how the system is built.
Similar to some other people I used to play a significant amount, on days off I could spend half the day playing. Now I'm playing a lot less, only really to keep on top of quests every couple of days. I'm not sure why, I just feel like the game is less fun right now to play than before.

I think Day9 summed up the meta best; there's not much "wiggle room" for deckbuilding. For me that's exciting to try and beat, and from a competitive standpoint there are merits to the current meta... but for people who like tinkering I could see it being obnoxious. If you like the top tier decks you'll be in great shape, if you don't then it's a rough time to be playing. Overall it's a very polarizing meta it seems.

To add to Tze's valid point I think if you've been playing the game for a while and absorbed so much streaming/discussions then it's bound to feel like more of the same but with a few different cards.
There will always be net decking tryhards to stomp on the more experimental decks. Not saying this is wrong because the system allows it but there isn't an environment that suits people who like to homebrew and have what I think is fun. I go to Wild these days mostly.
It took me ages to realise the community and net decking existed and I sometimes wish I'd just stuck to playing the game instead of 'studying' it. I suspect a break is in order.
this games full of RNG feast. lazy to climb. sometime you struck 2-3 hours at same rank.
aggro= hope have perfect starting hand, end turn 5-6 before opponent play reno.
aggro mirror= hope get exact answer and out tempo opponent.
control= hope draw answer for aggro and have reno turn 6. pray nobody play jade druid. 80% loses unless they misplay. this happen in US vs China tourney. where USA player forgot to Shuffle jade idol into deck. he just play 2 jade idol for tempo. end up loses in late games.
Control mirror=depend kazakus RNG, dirty rat RNG, draw order to win the games. sometime you can have crazy start, turn 4 Mountain Giant, turn 5 copy Faceless Shambler, turn 6 copy Faceless Manipulator, 3 x 8-8 in board=free win. some time you draw really bad, all high cost minion and zero removal.= loses.
I was addicted for about a year and a half before I stopped playing almost cold turkey last December. Haven't even really been keeping up with quests. The game is so broken and unfun and blizzard does nothing to fix it. They're going to just keep releasing broken aggro cards for the rest of forever because that's what sells packs and that's not the game that I want to play. But yes, I was addicted and I'm glad I'm not anymore.

I play almost every weekday, but just a few games during my lunchbreak at work. I almost never play on my PC at home.
I knock the quests over, preferably with some goofy deck and then play whatever I find most entertaining for a few games.
Reno Inspire Priest right now ... and I usually hate priest.
Long games so not laddering material

Yes, that's Reno with duplicates. Yes, it still works.
Explosive Shot => Meteor
Power Word: Tentacles => Spikeridged Steed
You are not addicted until you try to quit.
I tried to quit.
I am addicted.
Maybe 1 hour a day... maybe 2 hours a day...hard to say because I do things during my opponent's turn (without hardly ever roping btw).
25 hours a day minimum
didn't forget the decimal

I've actually played way less HS since Gadgetzan.
So yeah, you can tell how I feel about this expansion.
