I don't like playing against paladin but at least you can use taunts to counter massive charge minions. With shaman it's direct to face, end of story. 'Little obnoxious' is a bit of a euphemism.
Except that's not the case, you just don't want to run the tech in your deck.
Both Cult Neophyte and Speaker Stomper played when the Shaman used their Flash of Lightning turn will prevent the otk and likely win you the game because they'll be behind so much. Decks such as wheel warlock already have started using Speaker Stomper.
Like I said as well some decks counter others, that's how it has always been. The deck loses to decks that pressure hard early and warrior.
I mean, you're losing to decks you should counter. You should be beating nature shaman as hunter. You should also generally be beating hunter as warrior.
It sounds like your problem is that you don't play a deck consistently enough to get good enough at it (for Legend). Pick a strong deck that is favourable against the meta you are seeing and stick with it, hunter is probably a safe bet.
If you're seeing it a lot and don't want to run tech then change your deck, your fav deck doesn't need to be able to beat everything that's not how it works.
It gets hard countered by control warrior which I see probably more than any other deck in legend right now as well as decks that can snowball early like hunter and DH.
I do appreciate it can feel a little obnoxious to face if you don't have the tools but it's nowhere near the worst out there.
It's currently one of the only decks keeping Paladin in check. Loving the paladin tears. It also has a strong counter in warrior which is one of the best decks in the game so it's never going to be rampant.
But yes I do think that once balance changes come the team need to keep this deck in mind.
Deputization Aura is crazy strong.. How they came up with it being only 3 mana for 3 turns is mad, never mind the rest of the paladin package. Windfury seems an obvious nerf candidate.
Seems fairly obvious they don't play test these cards before release.
If you're only getting 6 damage out you're playing the deck incorrectly.
I literally just OTK'd a priest from 29 hp and cleared his 2 minions on the board on turn 6 (albeit with my own version of this deck with some changes made). That is with only a single minion of mine attacking with 2 damage.
I'm so bored of the RNG in this game, it really ruins my enjoyment. It's been complained about forever and yet they still print cards like the new Yogg Saron card. What's the point making calculated choices when you can just chuck stuff like this down and let the game decide who wins. (Salty because I lost purely to this card on what was essentially a won game). I just want them to stop with all this discover shenanigans and I would play so much more. These days it feels like every few games I just have to log out and play something else for my sanity.
It's been like this for a while but I agree - meta is terrible scam crap that feels like almost every game is decided via RNG (I include the mulligan in that). Goes for Wild even more where the game is decided in the first 2-3 turns.
Just gotta accept for what it's become and play if you can make peace with it. I still enjoy it but I won't spend money on it outside of the tavern pass

Naga DH is honestly quite disgusting in power.

The plague cards literally say "shuffle" on them - so yes definitely intended

it's fun but Sif mage feels like a much stronger deck on a similar strategy

Glaivetar is busted, just as literally everyone knew it would be.
