I don't think it is too strong or anything, just super boring and poorly designed:
Basically the entire Class revolves around 1 Neutral Card (Auctioneer). Without Auctioneer, 95% of All Rogue decks currently would cease to exist. Fundamentally, an entire Class should not revolve around 1 card, particularly a Non Class Card.
When Auctioneer does it the field, the game becomes super boring. Basically you watch the opponent play Solitaire. Now granted, some people like to play Solitaire but that isn't why I like Multiplayer games.
Look, I want to tell you something because you're very dear to me. And I hope you understand that it comes from the bottom of my damaged, damaged heart. You are the finest piece of ass I've ever had and I don't care who knows it. I am so glad that I got to roam those hillsides.
Rogue has more than 1 archetype.. Miracle is more or less a combo/control, but rogue is designed to be an aggro and midrange deck, like hunter, hence the efficient single target removal and lack of board clears
You do realize that Rogue has more than just the Miracle archtype right? There is C'Thun, N'Zoth, Reno C'Thun, Reno N'Zoth, Burgle Rogue, Maly Rogue, Mill Rogue, Pirate Rogue, Jade Rogue, ect. Not all of those rely on Auctioneer.
man have you ever played board games? like even the standard 4 color card thingie with hearts, clovers, diamonds and turnip? (sorry i don't know its english name), or parcheesi?, they are turn based games and you can't do anything in your opponent's turn, you could say their turns are "solitaire" yet people enjoy playing, and have a fun time with them
I see where you're coming from. I played miracle rouge vs a friend once who was fairly new to Hearthstone (talking a few months here, not totally new). After the Gadgetzan turn he ragequit and said to me 'Mate I don't want to sit here and watch you masturbate'. I think that was a pretty funny way of putting it.
There is an answer though, quite an appropriate one frankly if Valeera is really ruffling your jimmies: Swap the hell off your priest or jade druid deck and go something that can hit her in the face. Hard.
For those of you with a bizarre hateboner for aggro decks... deal with it, I guess. You can't win 'em all.
Holy shit are you kidding me? Rogue is my favorite class for exactly the OPPOSITE reason. Even though its strongest iteration right now revolves around MIracle Rogue, I think the class has some of the most interesting and unique cards.
Shadowcaster - Probably the #1 reason I love Rogue! I don't care if it's not competitive, I will play the shit out of Brann + double Shadowcaster all day. This card allows for really interesting combos.
SI:7 Agent - probably the strongest 2-drop in the game ;)
Unearthed Raptor - no other card can do this, and its a solid 3 drop.
I like Rogue's current power level, not too broken and not bad against top tier decks. The Oil Miracle Rogue era was the time that I found Rogue very annoying, its power was huge back in the ol' days. If Rogue were given powerful cards from MSG, I could see the hard comeback for Miracle Rogue era, which Im glad its not happening.
Blah blah, Rogue sucks and now its boring to play against. Blah blah, Pirate Warrior. Blah blah, Aggro Shaman. Blah blah, Priest sucks but now its OP. Blah blah, Hunter is OP but now its trash. Mage is broken but at the same time not viable anymore. Drood OP. R.I.P Paladin. Blah blah Jade golem decks OP. Blah blah [insert expansion here] is so poorly designed and stupid.
Did I miss anything because I am sure I did, there is just so much wrong with this game. lol
Most people bashing OP got it entirely wrong. All he is saying is that most Rogue decks are boring to play against because you pretty much watch your opponent play for 10 minutes all of his cards while your plays is like: play a minion, pass.
Op is wrong in the matter that Rogue has many more archetypes, but I dot agreed that auctioneer being that important to the class is a bad design.
Oil Rogue was a very viable and competitive deck that did not run Gadgetzan Auctioneer. Ostaka used this deck to win the world's championship. The entire rogue class is not designed around a neutral card, it can do very well without it. It just happens that the best archetype for the class (miracle) is revolved around Auctioneer.
Rogue is arguably the coolest and best designed class in the game. You're just salty TC.
I dont even play rogue but their jade golem cards and steal mechanic make their class the most interesting class imo. My main classes r warlock and druid

It doesn't.

Its kinda a classic that neutrals often are better in rogue then the classcards like Azure,Thalnos, smalltime Bucc. vioet teacher, gadgezan.
The problem here is more the insane powerlvl of rogue basic spells.
Also rogue is always insanely profitting from a meta slow down.
Thats wh y its still tier1 even with this shit classcards beeing released.
Here, I'll mimic the OP.
"Rogue is the worst designed class and it's so boring because I don't like it. I find it to be boring so that means that it's horribly designed."

Thief rogue is quite nice to play.
Provided you steal the correct and useful cards

This bait gets my seal of approval.

Shaku, the Collector, Undercity Huckster, Burgle, Ethereal Peddler - maybe not competitively viable yet but these cards are extremely fun, and this mechanic is unique to Rogue (I thought you said Rogue was boring??)
Backstab, Preparation, Shadow Strike, etc etc - some of the coolest and most flexible spells in the game.
I truly don't know how you can consider this class boring.

I think rogue is generally exciting to play against (unless I play smorc, then I just feel bad... unless they're smorcing too, then it's cool).
Gadgetzan combo puts a lot of tension on the board, and it is fun to pull off too. I also feel like rogue is the right place for such things.
I feel like it's slightly more whack when I meet miracle druids.
I like Rogue's current power level, not too broken and not bad against top tier decks. Miracle Rogue is almost as uninteractive as Freeze Mage, but for some reason it doesn't receive as much hate.
This post makes me want to... concede.
