The name is supposed to be a reference to Yggdrasil, the Tree of Life. Only, it's the opposite. It makes trees go bad.
jaswitzer97, if you're reading this, you gave me this idea.
I like the effect. I saw it coming with Ironpark Protector, but forgot about this card. One thing i dislike is making it a Witchwood card, as the "Treant-effect" wasn't introduced before Boomsday. I know Treants are not a race, but for me, it feels like putting Discover on a classic card. And (this is just me rambling) I'd really like it as a spell, something like "Tainted Water"... or maybe an Elemental called Viscous Fallout (from the Gnomeregan boss in WoW) and with the art below; it would just make more sense thematically imo, and could fit into the Boomsday expansion.
@Lathy It's a potential 21 damage. Strong, but not too op. Nice idea to make it randomly split.
@CheeseEtc Dusktalon Witch is the best. Normal ramping is faster and more consistent than spawning mana treants and Tranquility seems weak on 4 mana. Saronite Chain Gang and Whispering Woods are better, and rarely you'd want to summon a 2/2 taunt and 2 wisps.
@NiRaSt Could be powerfull, but usually it's easier to boardclear a bunch of 2/2s than to kill an 8 health taunt. Against decks that don't have boardclears (aggro decks) this is just a weaker Ironbark Protector as you need to have treants on the board when you play it. I think making it smaller (both in mana and in health) would make it better. At least make it 7 mana so you can combo it with Landscaping. How would it work if both it and all treants die at the same time (ie. Twisting Nether)? Would it survive or not?.
@DestroyeR Possibly too strong. Emperor Cobra is 3 mana 2/3. This is 2/5 plus it can resurrect itself. It having 5 health makes it hard to kill it on your turn, which makes the deathrattle kind of pointless (no one is gonna kill it if you have a treant on the board. they will always kill the trants first). It being legendary i guess makes up for the power creep. Early game it will be be just a powercreep, and late game it will just ask for a boardclear. I suggest making it 1 attack.

I do see what you're saying, and it makes perfect sense. Unfortunately, in my opinion, using that artwork would actually make it less sense thematically, not more.

As for your cards Link, I'm sorry, but I don't find them that exciting. Summoning a treant is just a tad too boring. Axil is not my taste, as I really feel like the "make another minion than Mech Magnetic" has been a bit overdone by now. I'm not saying it can never be revisited, it's just not now imo ;)
Yeah...they're not great :( I was interested in the theme when Cheese suggested it, but now that we're here I'm not feeling the creative-juices flow all that much...I think I might retool Axil in some capacity; the living-metal Mech/Treant connection interests me, so I'll keep exploring.
I made this earlier, a callback to the only class card related to Spare Parts: Mech-Bear-Cat. Not sure it's much better, though :/

Got it. I still want to keep it at 2 Attack or more, to not degrade the Treant transformed in any way. The idea is to upgrade, after all. How about I make it 4 Mana? Or 4/3 Health? Or make it have Taunt instead of Poisonous?
Meh. I had a similar idea @Sillyraptor. I did not posted here because I though it was well made so I had no need to. But since it's similar I post it in case you think my card is too similar then I will make another card.

Thanks for the feedback. In case of Twisting Nether and other such effects, it would survive only if there's a Treant summened AFTER him.
For your cards:
Life seed is both very strong an extremly situational; it's 3 mana cheaper than polimorph while creating a marginally stronger minion. However, it can only target Deathrattle minions, so unless the meta has them, it would see no play.
The vicious wolf seems balanced. Unleash the Hounds cost 3, so effect on it's own would probably be 5 or 6. Thematically, however, it doesn't really fit. I'd either make it a big tree that summons smaller ones, or some sort of gardener.
Mana-based Fertilizer is just bad. It keeps your hand filled with worthless junk, and if you want to get rid of it, you have to pay 3 mana. It looks more like something you'd give your opponent.
Meh. I had a similar idea @Sillyraptor. I did not posted here because I though it was well made so I had no need to. But since it's similar I post it in case you think my card is too similar then I will make another card.
I think your card is missing a line there. This is insanely strong if your board is empty and you target a small minion. I'm really not sure about the balance on this one.
I was basing my mana on Living Mana and Ultimate Infestation but i think you are right, maybe it has to cost 10. This is a trade + board.
For your card, I like the first choice but the second, why make them die? If they attack a 2 Attack minion they will already die, so maybe you can let them live if the enemy minion has only 1 or 0 attack. Can they attack a random ennemy after your attacking phase? like, if i face with 2 treants, will they be able to attack through this spell?
Hi, first of all, it is a good practice to upload cards you post here - especially in a submission thread - to hosting sites, like imgur. Very few ppl actually look at cards when they r just as an attachment. Just fyi.
Now to the card, the proper text should be: "Battlecry: Gain +1/+1 for every Treant that died this game." I suppose the card is ok, tho kinda boring.
I do not like this design one bit, it is incredibly polarizing. Either it gets silenced/poly'd and you get nothing, or you get a monster of a minion. It would be pretty easy for a druid to keep it alive for 6 tuns, very easy. And even if not, you would get an extra 20 health for 2 mana. This card is just not good, sorry.
Not to mention u are using things like Rush on a card from Classic set or Windfury when that keyword is not a part of druids class identity. I know you already submitted it, but for the future, i think you should work on the details a bit more ;-)
I ll probably change the art. Thoughts on flavor/ wording?
Im not sure if the card itself is even that strong, mby it should cost 5 mana, but thats it. I just dont rly like the idea of a non-secret class to have such a random one-off access to secrets, thats all. So i guess for the balance purposes you should up the cost, for other things, that is on you to decide.
Meh. I had a similar idea @Sillyraptor. I did not posted here because I though it was well made so I had no need to. But since it's similar I post it in case you think my card is too similar then I will make another card.
You should look for wording in Bubba, since this is basically his battlecry, but in a spell. So something like "Summon seven 2/2 Treants to attack an enemy minion." and thats it ... any leftover Treants will stay on the board as tokens, same way Hounds from Bubba do.
I mean to be fair, i suppose either card is inherently fine, but ...
Deforester: i dont rly see a use for that, i get what it is trying to do, but i dont think it would work (be playable).
Druid of the Forest: i do not like another ramp tool for Druid one bit, less so when it fills the curve between Wild Growth and Nourish, even if it is on a deathrattle. The other option might be also a bit OP for a token druid, for 4 mana gettin 4 bodies, so this card alone basically forces AOE already. Not a fan.
So like i said, those cards r ok, i just dont rly like what they do :D
Ok, given my previous cards were poorly received, I'll post three more and hope one of them is good enough.
Ecologist is very similar to Violet Teacher, a Neutral card that Druid used to use a lot. She produces stronger tokens, but her main body is much easy to remove.
Geranium Genetist is based on the fact that geraniums can reproduce by splitting, so he will implant their genes into Treants to make them stickier. He can be played on curve (as a 2/3 is more or less hard to remove at turn 2) or in combination with Treant generators, due to its cheap cost. I'm considering making him a 1/3.
Finally, the new version of Wicked Overgrowth is my last take on transforming Treants. I decided to use Splitting Festeroot instead of Rotten Applebaum to make it weaker, as they don't directly impact the board.
I'll return any feedback received, altough only today, because I'm going on a trip tonight.

Bumping this.
Ecologist is fine. The other two r not. Both r beyond broken, you get a few treants and if your opponent isnt a priest with Mass Dispel, you are never losing a board, ever. Have not seen an easier setup for a full board Savage Roar before :P
I did not know this card :o Well, I guess i will have to put "until he dies" for the enemy minion if I want to keep treant as board, or make another card since its already existing :/

Yeah, I wouldn't give druid access to secrets.
