Thoughts on flavor/balance? Made this on Hearthcards a while back and some people were expressing concern regarding its Cost/effect ratio.
Concept is that he cuts down your trees and they fall on your opponent's minions.
Thanks in advance!
I think this could probably use a small buff in stats, I don't really think it's overpowered at all. If your opponent doesn't have as many minions as you have Treants or if they don't line up well then you're 'wasting' some of them and that might be hard to control effectively. Also, if you have that many Treants that you want to do this, you'd often rather just Savage Roar / Branching Paths and do big damage, I don't think Treants with this would really be able to transition to Control.
Splinter: Destroy your treants making them into splinters that randomly hits enemies. Root: Protects your Treants until your next turn, could be used to set up an OTK. War Club: Based on the WCIII spell where Mountain Giants uproot a tree and use it as a War Club. If buffed by any means you would equip a treant with the buffed stats. This card might be too OP.
I really like the flavor of all of these. One possible balance change if you are worried about War Club is you could have it be set to 2 Durability, or prevent it from attacking heroes. One or the other should be fine.
I'll of course put aside the elephant in the room of it breaking Twig; I think there's some fun Druid weapon ideas to be made that simply wouldn't work if we adhered to the "no Druid weapons because Twig" restriction. One of the only times I personally advocate anything akin to ignoring practicality.

Hmm, what do you think about me tweaking the card to, say, a 4/5 that only destroyed a single friendly Treant? Retains the same utility and flavor while not being too control-oriented.

Ok, given my previous cards were poorly received, I'll post three more and hope one of them is good enough.
Ecologist is very similar to Violet Teacher, a Neutral card that Druid used to use a lot. She produces stronger tokens, but her main body is much easy to remove.
Geranium Genetist is based on the fact that geraniums can reproduce by splitting, so he will implant their genes into Treants to make them stickier. He can be played on curve (as a 2/3 is more or less hard to remove at turn 2) or in combination with Treant generators, due to its cheap cost. I'm considering making him a 1/3.
Finally, the new version of Wicked Overgrowth is my last take on transforming Treants. I decided to use Splitting Festeroot instead of Rotten Applebaum to make it weaker, as they don't directly impact the board.
I'll return any feedback received, altough only today, because I'm going on a trip tonight.
"The flow of time is always cruel... its speed seems different for each person, but no one can change it... A thing that does not change with time is a memory of younger days..."
I feel like both of these are OP as fuck but wanna hear what some people think. I don't know if either of these meet the criteria for this week but why not try
Forest Fight is a board clear for Druid with a slight upside to win it. I feel like its severely undercosted and should probably be a 9 or 10 mana card.
The Lone Treant is SUPPOSED to be a Druid card so I will fix that if it gets good marks; I was basically just going for an everliving Treant for activation purposes of cards that require Treants. Wording is funny because I don't want this card to be infinitely buffed and be a huge threat, I just want it to be for activation.
Thought of a quest idea, not to sure but it could be fun having a treant druid. I don't know about the requirement because it might be too easy to obtain for the reward, any feedback?
Do quests involving treants count, and if so do u guys want me to post the reward for it too
Quests are fine, yes. You should always include the Quest's Reward when you submit cards like that: any and all tokens related to the parent card should be taken into account. Hero cards should come with their Hero Powers, a card like Tirion Fordring should come with their weapon, etc.

First off, right out of the gate, I would never recommend that you post an image as an Attachment. Hardly anyone looks at them, and you're shooting yourself in the foot by doing so. You should save your card onto your computer, then upload it to Imgur. When you take the i.imgur link and bring it here, you can post your images automatically like everyone else is doing. DON'T use the Hearthcards link directly: it won't work.
Your Reward card is breaking an unspoken rule of Hearthstone, in-that it has 5 lines of text. As far as Blizzard is concerned, 4 lines is the maximum; anything more and the card is considered too complex for the game. It's a common mistake for newer card-creators :P
There are a bunch of smaller details that need to be cleaned up: there's an unnecessary empty line in the Quest, you should say the full Reward name in the Quest card text (Oldbark the Wise, not just Oldbark), Treant should be capitalized, and the +s come before the #s (+2, not 2+). We'd also prefer it if you changed the watermark on the card, as there are no Quests in Classic (the background swirl).

Behold, foolish interlopers! I am commanding this mortal to spread the will of the Scourge throughout the interwebs, encouraging you to seek out me, Archlich Kel'Thuzad! Now coming to you as the tenth class of Hearthstone!
I am a finalist in this Class Creation Competition, so if you could give it a look I would be greatly appreciative <3
Are the Ancients considered treants for the sake of this competition or nah?
From what I gathered conversing with CheeseEtc, Yes: we are putting technicalities to the side for now and relaxing what is allowed. "Treant", in regards to this competition, can refer to the gameplay term or the flavor of living tree creatures.
Yes, I want the theme to be as large as possible.
As for me,
Not that the first two say "create" rather than "summon", therefore Treants from Witchwood Apple also qualify.
Splinter's pretty cool; I like that one the most. It can also function toward an OTK, attacking with the Treants before you blow them up. You could also combo it with Living Mana to open fire with a C'Thun-like barrage (returning the mana afterward). That's 21 damage with two cards and 9 mana (7 for the full board, 2 left to play Splinter), so maybe drop the damage to 2.
War Club's primary usage would probably be to set off Twig of the World Tree early, and I don't know if I'm comfortable with that. I don't find Root very compelling to be honest, although the flavor is on-point. They all have solid flavor, really, so I would still vote for Splinter.
Thanks! I'm going with Splinter. It might be a two card 21 dmg combo, but it requires NO minions at all on board. I've increased the cost to 3 to not further any other shenanigans in addition to said combo. I've also updated the art and rarity to epic.
As for your cards Link, I'm sorry, but I don't find them that exciting. Summoning a treant is just a tad too boring. Axil is not my taste, as I really feel like the "make another minion than Mech Magnetic" has been a bit overdone by now. I'm not saying it can never be revisited, it's just not now imo ;)

Cheers man! I think I'm going with Splinter, and I've updated it a bit. As for your card; I've never been a fan of the opposite effect. It's just a personal taste, and I'm not sure I'd speak for the community, as I think the flavor is pretty good. I'd rather go with something like "Destroy all your Treants and a random enemy minion for each destroyed Treant."
He's not very reckless, but I feel like the art might be fitting ;)

Why not make the lone Treant a permanent with the text “counts as a Treant” then?

Here's another idea:
Nerubian Prophet + Witchwood Apple. Handy for hand druids as well.
My old idea:

Any and all feedback is very much appreciated.
Edit: Looking at it, maybe Keleth should cost 9.
Yeah, I think that sounds better

1) Art is ugly, sorry :P
2) You haven't attached tokens
