I struggle balancing this card. It should be usable for anti aggro and control aswell... I think like this it makes any aggrodeck intantly surrender, wich would be ... too strong :P
A simple measure could be increasing the cost of Fearmonger ;)

It's a cool idea, but it does basically nothing vs Control decks (except fill their hand w/ something useless, I guess), whereas it just straight up murders any deck that needs the board. It's a bit too binary for me, either busted or worthless.
A quick, rough update to Sleight of Hand. It now has 5 lines of card text, which I deplore, but I can't think of any way to condense it and have it still be functional, which is a shame. I love the idea though, so I think I'll still go with it.
Okay, I did your work for you: "When you draw a card on your turn while this is in your hand, instead Discover a card and shuffle this into your deck."

I'm not sure, but maybe something like this? I know it might not be precise enough, but it's the best I can come up with ;)
Hey, can i get some thoughts on the balance of this;
Is it too strong at 1 mana even with the 'Enemy Hero' condition?
I can't think of any other situation where they'd really care. You spend 1 extra mana so they have to spend 1 extra mana. 2 only if you don't use your HP to clear the board, and even then it's kinda bad.
I think it'd be fine without the enemy Hero clause, just whenever you attack works.
Or, make the Mind-Numbing Poison cost as much as the damage you dealt, which is a bit more flavourful, since stronger weapon => you applied more poison.

...wow, clearly I need some sleep, those are both fantastic suggestions, thank you. I don't know why I was so fixated on the two sentences, and starting with a really unnecessarily long piece of text.
This was my idea for the week. What do you think? Is it balanced? Anything you think needs to be changed? And what about the art :) ? cheers
Gives your opponent the following token:
I'm thinking I want to change "Blind" to a 2-cost card. If you compare it to curse of rafaam, your opponent WILL take at least 2 damage for 2 mana, while this card actually doesn't have enough setback for your opponent, as you spend 3 mana dealing no damage or anything, and your opponent can remove it for the same price?
Kudos to pui for this week's theme, I've been waiting to make a card that uses the Chromaggus fight Brood Afflictions forever! So here it is:
You pay 3 mana to put a 3 mana card in your opponent's hand, which I think is fair. Of course, Mad Scientist is broken as usual :)
I wasn't sure about the trigger, because I didn't want to repeat any existing trigger. "Play a (3) mana or lower card" is interesting because it makes the secret trigger more likely against aggro / zoo type decks, that you really want to de-tempo with this. Another idea was "when you play a non-dragon minion", but that one isn't really a condition you can play around when you expect this card.
Re: Holy Chanter- Try combining the wording of Cursed! and Prophet Velen "While this is in your hand, double the damage and healing of your Hero Power."
Hey peeps, I've run into a couple hurdles with my card idea.
I wanted to create a new dynamic when choosing which cards to play from hand; do i try to move this card to the right hand spot to get some sweet value next turn? Or do I simply play the most powerful card i have right now? Decisions!
But I'm unsure how i should balance this effect, and how to word it to be easy to understand. I originally had it as a (1) mana discount, but i thought that because you HAVE to play the card you top-deck every turn in order to keep gaining value from this card, that it should at least be a worthwhile pursuit. Your thoughts?
Thanks for the tips everyone. This is my new and improved. Think it's ready for submission, any other suggestions or does it look okay?
I do agree with the guy before me. possibly healing 8 per turn in amazing and possibly broken. either it needs to be like a +1 or have some reason to play it because unless you need that one extra damage to win with fatique you will never play this.
That's a tough one. It conditionally does something, but only as it leaves your hand, not while in it. May need a mod to be the decider, but my gut says no.

How about... "At the start of your turn, shuffle this from your hand into your deck and Discover a card instead of drawing."

Of course, with cards like Jeweled Scarab and Spellslinger, mage secrets can pop up in unexpected ways.
And I'm just giddly excited because my last card made 7th place, best finish so far.
Re: Holy Chanter- Try combining the wording of Cursed! and Prophet Velen "While this is in your hand, double the damage and healing of your Hero Power."
"While this card is in your hand, double the healing or damage done by your Hero Power."
While instead of Whilst.
, after hand.
double should be with lowercase and not in bold.
Hero Power with uppercase and end with a dot.
:)

By Jove! That's a splendid card isn't it, what? Jolly good show, old chap! *slurps tea*

What about cards like Fist of Jaraxxus? Do they count or not?
