Worst case, your opponent has a bigger body on board to kill Troggzor the Earthinator immediately. This case should be really rare. There are very few cards currently played competitively has more than 6 attack AND is not a finisher. Besides, you always have choice to choose when to drop him.
Worst case, You play Troggzor and say go (since he is 7 mana) - Your opponent plays a bunch of stuff and kills you and you die because they don't care how many guys without taunt you have on the field because your dead. Loatheb prevents this, he does not.
I can easily imagine scenarios that are like you play trog, I count damage in my hand and then go Frost bolt, Ice lance, Ice lance, Fireball, GG.

This is so specific situation and with ONE specific class that u cant even take it into consideration ...
The situation he is describing is where your opponent has lethal with the help of spells. He gives only one example, but there are many more. It is not that specific a situation.
This seems like a more offensive Loatheb. "Like Loatheb" means "good enough to put in almost every deck". Switching between the two based on the meta could make it extremely strong.

Well, what about webspinner + kill command x2, Doomhammer + rockbiter x2, anything miracle would do, or just zoo ignoring this minion because it barely runs spells?
Loatheb is also better for aggro lists as 5 is cheaper than 7, is better attack and health for the mana cost.
A great many classes can do like 20+ in one turn if you just spend your turn 7 or whatever playing one dude as a preventative. Besides mage, Hunter is all about aggro, and you dudes help make him more 1/1 charge minions. Maybe Warrior and priest will struggle against this since they are typically not bursty, but Warlocks wont care, Hunters wont care, Miracle rouges and Doomhammer shamans and Frost mages wont care.
I'm not saying this is a bad card, but its just not all that to me. Loatheb is better overall, and he is better against the decks he is weakest too than this guy is.
Play Troggzor -> Conceal on turn 8. Play Master of Disguise on turn 9.
Game over.
Because you spent all of turn 8 and half of turn 9 not fighting for board control or protecting your hero. He just killed you while you were playing around with stealth.
While the Rogue's class legendary is the best legendary of all of GvG, this very well may be the best neutral legendary.
You are joking, aren't you. Not about best neutral legendary, but rogue as best class legendary? Sorry, but this card is only an big Lorewalker Cho that even can give a big drawback.
So if you play this after a reset board or with other minions you just win? This will be played in ever deck in the game. Mabye the super aggro jeeves won't plays this but i think 99% will play this card its just so strong.
Wait... am I the only one that doesn't think this card is amazing? Its effect is fairly comparable to Loatheb's (you net 5 mana from Loatheb's ability on a cast spell and about 5.5 from Trogdor's, but Trogdor's gives your opponent more flexibility), yet you pay 2 mana for 2 more stats. Granted Loatheb is a very good card, but this card is about a mana below the curve Loatheb establishes in value. It could be good, but I don't see it being among the best cards from the set. I think it's easier to play around than people are acknowledging. If you don't have a good lead in board control, your opponent will just trade with Trogdor first, then play spells freely (you can't do this against Loatheb.).
Wait..what? This card gives you a 4 cost minion for EACH spell every turn its in play, Loatheb makes spells cost 5 more for ONE turn. I don't see how this card is the same as loatheb? sure it denies spells but it also gives you minion, EVERY TURN ITS IN PLAY. Its no weak to bgh and as we have seen before cards like savannah higmane that needs to be silenced are very hard to deal with. I would rather compare this to high mane in that it needs to be silenced before you using spells on it or else your opponent just wins the game because of the value generated. This card is a neutral high mane for 7 mana with 1 more body and a much better effect.
This card is not even bad on a semi controlled board as it would need to be dealt with(similar to high mane).
Was already thinking of crafting this guy day 1 because it seems like it does tons of work. Opened a golden version on the 15 packs i got myself for christmas, thank you blizzard, this is worth it all. If the opponent doesn't have an immediate answer this card can get out of control very easily. The only problem i see with this card (alongside the other Troggs and to an extent, Gallywix) is that you rely on your opponent using spells to get full value; if they already have power on the board to deal with it, Troggzor is nothing but a low-stats-for-the-cost legendary.
I'd say what i like the most about it is the crazy potential it has as a token generator, it creates FOUR DROPS for god's sake; and different from Violet Teacher or Impmaster (hell, even Quartermaster-buffed recruits) that can be easily AoE'd, this guy's tokens have a massive 5 health (the only generated card with this kind of health was Baine Bloodhoof) and the tokens also have synergy with the spell-usage mechanic. Overall a great card, fits well on my midrange Shaman, wonder if this will be as big as people predicted, the basic idea is that you're basically paying excess mana (-1,-1 than war golem, which is pretty bad) to significantly reduce the opponent's options until it's removed somehow, which makes it very different from Loatheb (that grants an immediate 1-turn effect, cannot be silenced and has a good body for it's cost)
Play Troggzor -> Conceal on turn 8. Play Master of Disguise on turn 9.
Game over.
Because you spent all of turn 8 and half of turn 9 not fighting for board control or protecting your hero. He just killed you while you were playing around with stealth.
You've not faced too many rogues, have you.
I find that the average rogue has better boardwiping capabilities than a mage with 2x Blizzard 2x Doombringer 2x Frost Nova 2x Flamestrike 2x Abomination and 2x Explosive Sheep.
The problem is that you NEED boarcontrol to play this, and it is usually pretty convenient for your opponent to not give you any tokens. If he has lethal with spells, troggzor does not save you, like loatheb can.
I crafted this guy, and I kind of regret it. He could very well be a nieche legendary like baron geddon or hogger when the dust settles... wait and see if he fits stable ladder decks!
I crafted him and I've played about 6 games so far (been busy since launch =( ). He's pretty good, but the 3 times I actually got him out, I think I lost haha. The first time, a mage (on turn 8) used Thalnos + Coin + Flamestrike. That left my Troggzor at 1 health and his pets dead. Obviously that's just bad luck on my part. Second time was against a warlock that used Twisted Nether (What?), and third time was against a paladin who simply outplayed me. I've been mostly just playing around with decks so far though, I haven't found the perfect deck yet.
Anyways, I don't regret crafting him. He's still very good, but there are ways of playing around him. Was he overrated? Probably. But he's still damn good.

Incredible card. Unfortunately I think this card will push the meta even more towards mech-zoo, which I am not particularly happy with.

I was thinking he could be good in druid, he is a very good card to innervate out, as most emergency reactions would be spells...
In my warlock decks, he has done nothing so far
