Nope. Wild Pyromancer reads "AFTER you cast a spell, deal one damage to all minions". This reads "WHENEVER you cast a spell", so will work like Mana Addict or Archmage Antonidas, where the effect triggers before the spell that activated it resolves.
Correct. Even mind control means it stlll leaves a 3/5.
Miracle is dead. Freeze mage is dead. Aggro Hunter will have nightmares on this one.
I'm not crafting day 1, but if I was, I'd craft this guy.
I NEED THIS CARD vs priest. I'll show them with all their spell trix :P ....except they will just shrink and cabal it :( It's actually amazing vs control warrior as well.
This card in mage deck with Counterspell and/or Spellbender, the way it works you'll get the 3/5 minion while countering their spell, pretty funny tbh.
I am not sure I love it. Miracles, if it can go off, will still just OTK you regardless of how many dudes you have. Its good in a fair match, but loatheb I think is still better because it just says NO, while this say yes you may kill me freeze mage, but only if it is all in one turn.
If for any reason u have to play 2 spells to remove him u will probably just loose game there on the spot lol. Super strong legendary. Anti-silenc also as it will get at least one 2/5. Scaryyyyyyyy.
Not bad card; 6/6 on 7 is slightly bad, but the effect is still very good. Even silenced this card is very good, and i really look forward to include him into my deck.
Great card. No matter which way you try to remove it, you have to trade at some point, and his body is big enough that trading with him will be easier said then done.
While the Rogue's class legendary is the best legendary of all of GvG, this very well may be the best neutral legendary.
Agreed - I actually think this might be the best legendary period. Troggs are a strange card set to try and include, and now you don't have to, just 1 legendary that is possibly better than Loetheb (the current best legendary) and can be used in almost any deck (that cares about getting to 7 mana). And the fact that he summons the bigger better version Trogg is honestly OP. .
Wait... am I the only one that doesn't think this card is amazing? Its effect is fairly comparable to Loatheb's (you net 5 mana from Loatheb's ability on a cast spell and about 5.5 from Trogdor's, but Trogdor's gives your opponent more flexibility), yet you pay 2 mana for 2 more stats. Granted Loatheb is a very good card, but this card is about a mana below the curve Loatheb establishes in value. It could be good, but I don't see it being among the best cards from the set. I think it's easier to play around than people are acknowledging. If you don't have a good lead in board control, your opponent will just trade with Trogdor first, then play spells freely (you can't do this against Loatheb.).
This might be the best neutral legendary of the expansion, mostly because of his cost (not much competition at 7 mana, while Sneed's Old Shredder, while also potentially great, has some powerhouses to compete with)
TROGGZOR! well this guy has to be the best legendary in the set imo. the ability to spawn 3/5s when a spell is cast is pretty insane and it will most likely eat a hard removal spell like siphon soul. so at worst its like a 6/6 deathrattle spawn a 3/5 which is like a better cairne almost. i feel like it will fit into almost all control decks as another counter measure to spells along with loatheb
Overappreciated card. Likely to be responded by a larger creature for a similar cost.
Great when you're ahead, worse when you're behind, interesting when the game is even. Works like a spell immunity for your whole board, unless eaten by a single spell. Not bad, but there are better cards than this.
Assuming Troggzor the Earthinator's effect triggers before removal spell removes him, this is the best legendary we've seen in revealed G&G card so far.
Worst case, your opponent has a bigger body on board to kill Troggzor the Earthinator immediately. This case should be really rare. There are very few cards currently played competitively has more than 6 attack AND is not a finisher. Besides, you always have choice to choose when to drop him.
Mediocre case, it will force your opponent to trade smaller minion(s) in. Inability to cast spells is such a tremendous drawback. It basically gives Troggzor the Earthinator a "taunt" and your opponent has to kill it immediately. In such case, Troggzor the Earthinator at least 1 for 1, potentially 1 for 2.
Good case, your opponent uses a removal spell on it. You get to summon a 3/5 Burly Rockjaw Trogg and it immediately gets buffed to a 5/5. Your opponent spends a removal spell and still have to deal a 5/5 body. This should be the most likely case if you play it correctly.
Best case, your opponent has to spend more than 1 spell to remove it, or a spell with something else (like sacrifice a minion to Execute). You get 3 cards worth of stuff from a single Troggzor the Earthinator, which is just insane.

One does not simply walk into Mordor,
unless they want to be the best they can be.
Honestly all of the troggs are also hard counters to secret decks, and this guy just seals the deal. He could compete for a spot in any deck.
