My suspicion is that there will be a highlander dragon paladin. And this might make the cut as the 29th or 30th card just because you need 30 unique cards.
This is really bad, and won't see play. Ooh, a 3/3 buff on the most expensive and stat heavy tribe of minions. People are just gonna kill shit with Murlocs.
It will only be viable if they included a reborn dragon or 2.
This effect does not work with reborn. The copy summoned does not keep buffs.
The interaction with Bronze Herald is worth talking about. If the buff goes on herald with no other dragons in hand, will it buff one of the 4/4s when it dies or just fizzle?
Pretty sure he wants to copy Dragonrider Talritha to get two chains of buffs going. If the same card is hit with the buff twice, I'm pretty sure it would get two copies of the deathrattle.
That seems interesting, but kind of fiddly. Faceless Manipulator might be fun even if you're not running the quest.
If we get Lifesteal, Rush, and/or Taunt Dragons this card will be decently good. However i doubt it will ever be gamebreaking. I belive Hearthstone has passed the point were you can purely win by having big minions (without any other wincondition ofc.). The removal of Lategame combo decks like Priest or Druid are just too strong.
Its just Val'anyr but better. You get it turn 3 instead of turn 6 and you don't have to waste a turn swinging with a weapon like Val'anyr. The only issue is Blizzard might not give Dragon Paladin a win condition and without that this good card probably wont see play because "play big minnons" isn't good enough in modern hearthstone meta.

Agree, best case this card snowballs, okayish it draws a silence, low roll it's in the bottom of your deck. The big problem is tempo decks get wrecked in this meta, either freight trained by agro or outvalued by infinite archetypes.
It's hard to say this card is bad, because it's being rated in a vacuum. It's dependency on a tribe limits it's playability in general and it doesn't belong in the only meta pali deck on standard as is. So potentially very good right now just okay.
Great card in general though, love the flavour and I'm happy to see slower cards so far in this release.

I imagine the herald deathrattle should go off first cause it was there first, I dont have an example to back that up though
The snowball potential with this could get really out of hand. Whatever Dragon cards Paladin will be getting probably will synergize with this in some way. A taunt/lifesteal Dragon or a small dragon would be nice.
This card could do some stupid memery with Making Mummies if you can clone it, but this is neither reliable (a singleton in a deck that requires a quest shell to make work and a steady flow of dragons), nor the best thing a paladin can do, so it will almost certainly be a feels-bad card to pull.
That said, getting this effect on a Bronze Herald and then copying it multiple times would be really amusing. Each copy would create a 7/7 for 4 with this effect and a 4/4 dragon for the hand. If you copy it with the hero power, then two of the dragons would be 7/7s with the effect, each of which would pass the effect on to the minion in hand when they die. If both effects stack on a single dragon, it is a 10/10 for 4 that can be copied to quadruple the triggers.
Paladin handbuff stuff. Meaning it's ok, but probably won't be all that competitive. And combining this with the quest doesn't make sense, you'd rather be cloning deathrattles which leave behind minions (like the egg) than storing up value on minions which are trapped in your hand. As someone said, dragons usually are already highly statted, and things which proclaim "he's buffing dragons" usually means your opponent will save a silence effect.

This, but I was also replying to people who were talking about Quest Dragon Paladin... You can't have an overload of Dragons AND Reborn cards... So the deck would only be reasonable if they release a card or two that is Dragon WITH Reborn, but then, yes... Copy Bronze Herald to fill your hand with dragons, and then copy Dragonrider Talritha to snowball effects of dragons in hand... The mention of Reborn Dragons was so you can complete the Quest, while not filling your deck with needless "non-Dragon" Reborn minions.
People assume this is going to be a great card. If you build a dragon deck it's good in the early game assuming the meta is slow if you have low cost dragons in your hand. Most good dragons are not low cost. We haven't seen the rest of the cards yet. Useless in the late game and not a card you want to top deck late on.

Impossible to evaluate at the moment.

From what I have seen so far, Decent of Dragons feels more like Rise of Silence.

seems way worse than valanyr imo
