If there is some sort of Keleseth minion that you really need early in the game, this might see play.
But there is the 4 mana 3/3 demon with the same effect except the stats are on the board instead of in your hand, so I'm kinda confused... This new card is just trash ?
Witchwood Piper already exists in standard, and Paladin never really ran that, so I doubt this would ever see play, since this seems worse than that card, as the stats are delayed a turn, where Witchwood Piper draws a card, and puts a 3/3 in play, for just one more mana.
Not a card that will be included without any bigger plan. An arbitrary 1 drop like Argent Squire turns into a Silvermoon Guardian which never saw competitive play (4 mana 3/3 with divine shield). And other 1 drops are not good enough either. Without 1 drops, it can't really be a midrange or aggro deck and the buff's usefulness seems limited.
As others have said, maybe in a combo deck. Or control to fish Wild Pyromancer out of your deck (although equality would undo the buff anyway). But I can't really think of anything that is low cost and really wants a +2/+2 buff for a 3 mana tempo loss.
Edit: As mentioned above, Immortal Prelate might be a good enough payoff. Although you still can't run 1 drops and maybe not even 2 drops to make drawing the prelate consistent enough. I am still not convinced of this card, but this is at least something...
This card into Stonetusk boar for +2/2. Then Glowstone Technican for +2/2. Then turn 9 Alex, turn 10 Bless of king Boar + faceless manulator for 18 damage, higher if you have any weapon. Kill most non control deck.
You cannot draw Immortal Prelate with Crystology after it was buffed. This one can and buffs it even more.
Good point! And good thing I randomly saw this since this ghetto website makes you have to choose between replying to someone or quoting them. Wonder how many times people have responded to my post by quoting me and I never saw it because they had to click "quote" instead of "reply". Like WTF seriously???

You can find me here! Good luck everyone!
Too slow.
can be a nice tutor for some combo decks.
This could have some sort of potential. Not sure what minion would be worth drawing with +2/+2 stats, but there's definitelly potential!
Add me up if you're looking for someone to play friendly matches with! I play on EU. LuckyScrub#2745
it tutors a card and buffs it - there is some great potential!!
Immortal Prelates new best friend.
aggro Palatin? Too slow

This will for sure be played in shirwalla otk
only good with Immortal Prelate.
Otherwise the best case scenario you are using it on an Argent Squire and then you are exactly playing Silvermoon Guardian

Feel like this would be better at 2 mana but being able to tutor and buff something like Kangor or Prelate more useful than you'd think.
Crystalsmith Kangor to draw in control pally?
Ill gladly run this in dragon pally. Draw and buff my prelate, any low dragon or the swap health to armor guy
If you have a deck idea might as well go full ham on it.
Definitely Immortal Prelate but not bad for Crystalsmith Kangor though they can both be drawn by Crystology.
Could be used to tutor High Priest Thekal, especially later in a Nozari deck where you want to wait a play Thekal just before Nozari.
Enables Scarab Egg, Serpent Ward and Dozing Marksman to attack.
Tutors out Secretkeeper and Southsea Deckhand, both of which benefit a lot from the buff.
Could be nice pulling Firetree Witchdoctor with this.
i can see one thing really cool with this card... finally I can draw 0/5 robot in 3 and give +2+2. egg pala is back
Reasonable practical multi turn combo
