Please forget all the things about Dr. Boom, Mad Genius or The Boomship: If the wording is correct, it only affects minions that have Rush, not minions that gained Rush by any effect that gave them Rush.
Only minions with Rush (not minions that gained rush) are affected!
Woodcutter's Axe work on dr.boom and boomship, so this will also work.
Really good on its own (and makes Darius Crowley very tough to deal with), but despite having some strong individual cards, the rush archetype hasn't quite come together in the past. It seems torn between a couple of directions: a faster, aggro version that more closely resembles old Pirate Warrior, and a slower version sometimes with the spellstone and possibly Spiteful Summoner. Neither was good enough for competitive play over the last couple of expansions and I don't think this is enough to put it over the edge.
Hope I'm wrong, though, because I really like the concept.
Rush minions have always been been great vs aggro, and bad vs ctrl. This just make them even better vs aggro/tempo, and is a bad card vs ctrl (It's does nothing)
I actually think this is the opposite. It won't do that much against aggro as by the time you play this you will likely already be ahead and will be pushing face instead of trading, but with control you usually lose because they play a big minion that you have to waste too many resources to remove and it runs you out of resources. If you time this right and can remove that big minion while also pushing even harder on the board, and do the same thing again the next turn, that is a huge plus.
The presence of a lot of bigger, fatter more threatening rush minions and beasts is what's going to make Rush Warrior a better deck overall IMO. Instead of current rush decks (which are pseudo-tempo decks) you'll play this more as a slower control-style deck with minions and attempts to take the board.
This card is just really strong in that deck. Even versus Control. Generally rush minions do make okay tempo minions.
Not the best deckbuilder, but maybe something to this effect:
If this was a 1 mana spell that only lasted 1 turn it would still potentially see play. The fact that it's a 1 mana minion whose effect persists until killed is just bonkers.
The last spot id need to think about, but we have other cards to consider still.....I'd also almost 100% cut the woodcutters axe as well
Is the Undertakah worth just copying Direhorn Hatchling for? I like the suggestions otherwise. And I agree Woodcutter's bad, the deck just felt light on rush minions so I was trying to build more of an early game package.

Add two more 6/9 beasts to your deck? You run Oondasta so it doesnt hurt that either. About the only downside is if he gets pulled by the boom ship. At that point though, if your'e going to lose because he got pulled then you probably already lost.
- Add one more solid deathrattle and you'll be fine.
Low cost. Good efect. Can result in some neat synergies with rest of rush lineup. Makes crowley better. So far most powerfull one ?
I feel really happy I haven't dusted my lonely Crowley now. You've made my day.

The best way to actually do something well is have no idea what you're doing. Then what you're doing will become what you have no idea you're doing, at which point since you're doing what you're doing without knowing what you're doing you're doing what you're doing without knowing you're doing it.
I dont know but warriors have plenty of good low cost cards already, I would imagine it being hard to be used ,playing this card in your deck with rush minion means you dont want to use boardclears ,but putting 2 of this card in your deck means less early game minions can be used,so i dont think this is a good card.

but i mean... its an 8 mana 8/5. Why aren't you just playing The Lich King?
I think Warrior is the only class that cant really use Undertaker because our deadrattle options are very limitted.. Put few more hatching in the deck doesnt that impressive
Can someone tell me if there's a way to give rush to a minion in your hand ? i don't know, with any new or old card, because - immune Yogg-Saron, Hope's End would be pretty nice, like a pre-nerf yogg :D
Or the "Summoned" word means there is no way to summon it and activate yogg's battlecry ? ;(
Rush decks definitely work but I'm starting to question how effective they are. Its getting to the stage where I am wondering if low cost board clears will start being run more often to counter exactly decks like this would fit into.
I'm not convinced that Warrior has enough rush minions to make this viable without losing out heavily in other areas. Still if the release another couple of decent rush minions - probably pirates because we haven't seen a rush pirate yet (afaiK) - then there is definitely a good shout of making this viable or incredibly strong.
All of your Rush minions are a priority because they took no damage and can still attack. The Spirit is a priority because if they ignore it, you get free board clears every turn.
The opponent needs a board clear otherwise, 2 turns of immune minions means you will be ahead on board the whole game. This is very powerful and with Dr. Boom Hero card becomes insane.
Your opponent will never have minions on the board and you will. I will find a way to fit this into my Rush Warrior deck.
Gotta say, this card feels great. I still have my doubts about Rush Warrior, but Spirit of the Rhino is the exact card the archetype needed. It combos so well with Darius Crowley. You end up getting two free trades typically and even then they still have to use resources to remove it (likely from hand, as you've destroyed their board with rush trades).
Is anyone else having success with rush warrior? I'm playing a pretty weapon-centric version with Mithril Spellstone, Hench-Clan Thug, and Bloodsail Raider. Having some value issues, though, as the deck can definitely run out of steam.
I’m having some success but I’m running a rush/ww deck with the DK, frothing, execute, the +3/+3 buff, acolytes, wasps and battle rage. Still not perfectly sold on my version but whatever way I go I want to include Oondasta and Akali. Ashmore seems like an obvious inclusion too.

This effect for 1 mana? Wtf?!!

-2x drywhisker
-2x armor smith
-2x militia commander
-2x cornered sentry
+1x Da undertakah
+2x acolyte
+2x bloodrazor
+2x execute

This makes me want to play rush warrior.
