The thing about the new discard lowest cards is that they all cost less than this. Which makes it kind of awkward. If you play all 4 there is a decent chance that they discard each other instead of your priestess.
I think people are overestimating this, because it seems more consistent than it will be. Still strong, but not crazy.
Since this card does say copies, I’m inclined to believe hand buffs work with her. If they do, I think she’s insane, since Soul Infusion and Keleseth and friends just push her to being an insane 4-drop. If she doesn’t keep hand buffs, she’s still good though, just not insane imo, mostly because she seems a little slow for most Zoo decks.
"This is good for control because she offers an additional infinite resource"
No, it's not like that. 1st of all control doesn't normally run discard cards, since there is a big chance you will discard something useful. In another thread I talked about the theoretical usage of Soulwarden in such decks, since she can return you the valuable discarded resources if someone considered to include Soulfire or Shriek as well (there was a Malylock in the past). High Priestess Jeklik however isn't the only magnet for discard. It's not unusual for a control warlock to run many cheap cards (Defile, Hellfire, Lesser Amethyst Spellstone, Stonehill Defender etc) into their decks and thus there is a big chance, that something other than Jeklik gets discarded. And IF she somehow gets targeted, I wouldn't consider generating additional 3/4 bodies as something exciting. Other control decks will have plenty of removals to deal with them and not to mention, that as a control deck you don't run many disco cards (you won't generate many bodies) in general. So the term "infinite resources" is false.
Now about the usage of this legendary in the disco quest deck.
Look, some time ago I posted in a thread regarding Lakkari Sacrifice how it needed a card, which would generate more copies of itself in your hand. Those would then be discarded and they will minimize the danger of you losing something important. I won't deny that High Priestess Jeklik helps the deck in this regard, but I am still going to insist that she's bad nevertheless. Why? - because she is a legendary, aka a one-off. You can't always ensure that you will have her in the early game. The same problem had Clutchmother Zavas back in Un'goro. Silverware Golem was useful in every discolock deck back in Karazhan, because it gave you an immediate 3/3 body and you could add 2 copies of it into your deck. The chances of drawing one early on were high. Jeklek on the other hand isn't reliable in this regard. She becomes good the moment you discard her, but you have to find her first and you have to make sure you actually target her. And what good does she do for you, if you already discarded your hand and she comes in late? The cards, which I consider being MVP in the warlock quest deck are Cataclysm, The Soularium. I wouldn't consider Jeklek belonging to the "critical mass of good stuff" as you claim. ______________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ High Priestess Jeklik is definitely not as strong as Dr. OP. Dragon Priest was at least somewhat valiable before MSoG, it had many strong and synergistic cards, we can't say the same about the warlock quest deck.
Jeklik isn't the critical mass of good stuff - it's everything together.
Things that generate things have been critically underrated in HS basically every time. Things that can generate themselves doubly so.
"however isn't the only magnet for discard."
The thing about this is once she is discarded a single time, every other discard it becomes more likely that she's discarded, doubling herself. Sure, a 3/4 Taunt/Lifesteal isn't exciting (although it is probably playable in warlock without any synergy because of life tap). But free copies of a playable card is exciting. And multiple free copies is better.
I think the trap people are falling into is not being able to see the entire picture. Or they are comparing it to how the deck has played (and failed) in the past. This is understandable. But 25% of "Quest Warlock" is now significantly different. In a game where you only play 30 cards, that's a huge difference. It is not the thing it used to be.
Yeah, is pretty clear that Blizz is pushing the discard mechanic into warlock again. However, this new cards are really good and I think there is a pretty good chance that at least 2 or 3 of these cards pushes discardlock into a metadeck the same Draconid Operative did for dragon priest.
The problem mostly was that you did not control the card you discard but these new cards give little bit of option what you discard. But is that enough to make this meta? I hope so but we need to see all thecards first. (There are alot of buts in discard)

Get 2 of these in your hand via Shriek, then drop a Doomguard to get 2 more lol.
Day 1 craft. Bern playing discardlock for a while but hasn't been working since imp went away. But this is much better than clutchmother. By copying you get more chances to hit so in the end this will make soulfire deal 4, draw a card. It will also protect your other cards and this is before it hits the field. Late game you will never run out of cards in hand. And this is without considering the quest. Drawing this will be so good in discolock and I'll be playing it til quest rotates. Then I move to wild ;)

And then you play Soulwarden to get 3 more, jesus christ, Jeklik Discard Warlock is the new Quest Rogue.

I didn't say that she MAKES the critical mass of good stuff on her own. I said that she doesn't belong to this group. And I also acknowledged the usefulness of some cards generating extra copies of themselves, which will minimize the danger of you discarding something important. I said it in the previous post. However I wanted to stress on the fact, that there is a chance that she won't be discarded, because you will run other cheap cards beside her. And since she is also a legendary, the chances of you drawing her early on are slim.

This sounds to me like a slightly different Phantom Militia: it has lifesteal and +1 Attack, but it costs 1 more and its echo isn't always there. You could argue, that having the flexibility of not being obligated to play multiple 3/4s all in one turn makes Jeklek good, but her overcosted small body doesn't make her a strong play in general. Especially when you have to do some shenanigans, in order to multiply her. She isn't threatening enough and a single board clear and voila. This is where the reward from the quest kicks in, but this is a different topic imho. We are discussing the scene, when someone plays High Priestess Jeklik as her normal 3/4 body and playing two of those for 8 mana seems a weak play. It doesn't matter if you generated extra resources - those could be answered by a single board clear.
Personally for me this card would have been really, really good, if it didn't have the legendary rarity. If we could add 2 copies of her into the deck, she would have been exceptionally strong. Her body could have been weaker, but her effect would compensate for it. I will share a video with Firebat ranting about draw RNG and Clutchmother Zavas.
Man I crafted this card today to play in my heal zoo deck. I just replaced the lifedrinker that I had in there. She has been amazing I’m surprised I have yet to run into another person that played this card (that I know of). She has been surprisingly consistent and her lifesteal has won me several games in the first two hours of playing her. She should be in all zoo decks that run doomguard, soul fire, and soularium.
So since Sunday when I crafted this card, Jeklik took me from rank five to legend. I added a small Jeklik package to my heal zoo and it made the deck so much better. I had only ever been to legend once before (June 2018 with Odd Paladin) and was impressed to see this deck shoot me to legend in four days. This deck is relatively cheap as I do not run a full discard warlock deck. It is still very much an aggro heal zoo deck, but it has a lot of late game value because of Jeklik. It was fun to play a competitive deck that I’ve never seen anyone else play. It handles hunters (all of them), priests, druids, and OTK paladin all really well. Struggles against big odd mage. I’m not posting this for any self promotion (in fact I have never made a deck on hearthpwn before this one) but this deck was just so fun I wanted to post it. So if you’re looking for a fun zoolock deck check out my link!

Lovely, dicard lock make sense now

So you could just.......theoretically get a full hand of this card then? I will happily pair this with Shriek, thank you.

still a bad legendary
Even an Even Lock might use this card for the Taunt+Lifesteal.

The Bloodweaver Gul'dan for Diskek locks.
Unlimited resource to 3/4 taunt and heals with its lifesteal. And it actually requires skill
Excelent card, even that terrible crap 3/6 become amazing with this card.
If anything in this expansion receive a nerf will be her.

This card will strait up win games if you can isolate her with Soul Fires or Doomguards
so much refuel
