Druid will just have 70% just like post KOFT. Then blizzard will FINALLY nerf UI (KOFT already sold enough packs didn't it?) and nourish(This card is the REAL problem card in druid).

and hopefully also branching paths...
What they meant by those votes is "bad for the game" and "Everyone should dust this terribly balanced OP card".
Certainly one of the most broken things they've ever printed. They'd need to make more ridiculously overpowered cards in other classes to even give them a hope. Completely breaks wild.
You know, I used to believe HS cards were designed 2 expansions in advance and they would give weak cards to strong classes, vice versa based on the meta 2 expansions ago ... Now I know being OP is just part of druid class identity and this is persistent throughout every expansion :)
Good thing this is my favorite class or I'd be raging
So, as a Druid fan. How excited are you? I mean is this really that powerful or just hyped up and blown out of proportion?
It's really that powerful. People who think otherwise are probably misunderstanding the card. It's not just a faceless, it's a faceless that can copy things that you've played several turns ago and died as long as you don't play anything else in between
You can play Malygos, do modern Maly druid things that turn (which is often enough to kill your opponent already), next turn play this thing for 4 mana and get to hit face again for the lethal. Maly druid doesn't even run oaken summons currently
In taunt druid, you can get an extra hadronox wave that can be guaranteed. This wave can't be interfered with by skulking giest, transform or raptors. If you draw poorly you can use this to copy lich king or add other big taunts to the pool instead. The downside is that you cannot play oaken summons or master oakheart. I've experimented with no ironwood golem taunt druids and they decently fine. Oakheart gives you a chance to win on the spot if drawn early enough, which is important vs decks containing disruption effects for your hadronox but the extra wave from Flob mitigates that. I suspect there will be 2 kinds of taunt druids in the next expansion, one with Oakheart and his highrolls, one with Flob and the longevity he brings to the deck
However, in wild I don't see him being of any use. Jade only has 1 mediocre copy target in Aya and the rest of the druids are OTK decks that don't need to copy minions over multiple turns. He'd be just a worse faceless in those. I'm actually extremely surprised people are saying it is "broken" in wild druids. What kind of combos would you do using this that faceless or Ixlid won't work for? Decklists are extremely tight and there's no space nor need for 4 faceless manipulators. Do you guys even play wild combo druids? Because I'm drawing a blank even though it's my most favorite deck currently and reached legend multiple times with them...
Clearly overhyped. If this card was revealed in witchwood, it would be insanely powerful. However I think the boomsday meta will have more aggro options with all the strong mechs and magnetic cards. For all you dreamers, good luck playing maly on turn 9 and living until turn 10.
Strangely, no one is talking about the hunter 3/7 deathrattle on turn 3...
First of all, druids anti aggro is insane. Currently the best deck by winrste in the game is malygos druid and it's only a good deck because of the druid shell, which is probably the best anti aggro shell in the game. Now that the deck will have a more reliable win condition it'll surely be able to survive playing an empty malygos. Second, you don't need to execute your win condition to beat aggro most of the time especially as a druid, getting a wide board of plague is also a winning play. Third, let's not confuse turn 9 with 9 mana when discussing the druid class. 4th...are you serious?? Do you really think a 3 Mana (edit: 5 mana!) 2 card combo 3/7 is gonna shake up the meta?? You must be high.
this seems kinda crazy the more you think about it, seems like a card you'd LOVE to have in hadronox or maly druid. lol
but now the more I read the card text I start to wonder whether say you played maly for 9 mana and then next turn you play this whether it would cost 4 or 9 mana to play? as the card text only says become a 3/4 copy of the previous minion you played.
edit: just watched Hearthside Chat: Welcome to Boom Labs video and it will be a 4 cost minion, which does seem pretty good lol, 4 mana lich king, ysera etc.
Easily meta-defining as it allows Taunt Druid to not completely rely on Witching Hour to bring back Hadronox. Also helps shift the odds back on Witching Hour if your opponent forces you to have a beast.
Makes Maly druid more consistent. Don't have to have Maly in play to combo now, just have Maly be the last minion played to start it.
Token Druid may not use it, but Token druid might shift away from Oaken Summons if they need silences. Having a 3rd Violet Teacher, or triple Arcane Tyrant is solid enough to get consideration.

If you watch the Blizzard video, the card turns into a 4 mana 3/4 stonetusk boar after one is played.
Could be good with some Splintergraft shenanigans as well.
I wonder if it’s the last minion you played this turn or in general. It seems to be in general, but I can see the typical whiners call for nerfs and this become last you played this turn to calm down complaining wimps.

ye I literally just this second watched the video and was about to edit my post and say exactly what you just said. haha
Rollback Post to RevisionRollBack
Rumors are carried by haters, spread by fools, and accepted by idiots.
In wild this will be crazy. Aviana, kun all for 4...
Reno maybe? Silvanad, ragnaros. Double emperor, anyone?
Occasionally gives helpful advice.
Those 9 people voting bad and dust it though.

Broken af
Arguably one of the strongest cards ever created.
Also makes togwaggle easier. Togwaggle one turn then next turn, after they switch back, Tog four 4 biopoject and azalina. Done.
Poor Malygos. This card basically seals its fate (hi@HoF).
And yea, I'm aware that Master Oakheart and all the Ramp cards still exist.

Time to spare dust for this, Malygos, Hadronox and maybe even Aviana. Predicting fast nerfs, but I may be wrong.
Not doing the preorder then. Obvious mistake.
This card is bonkers. Happy I've invested in a lot of Druid cards over the past 6 months :) May have to create Hadronox to complete my collection.

Malygos - Twig - Flobb = Sweet Combo Druid!

your opponent plays Lich King...
"Warriors of the frozen wastes, rise!"
Next turn...
"Warriors of the frozen wastes, rise!"
I got nothing to say about this card, just blatantly broken card.
I like elementals and totems.
Lovely card
