2017 was a good year for rouge since they got good weapons (well 2 to be specific: The legendary and one from the KFT), and before those, people were complaining for rouge not getting any great weapons. ITS ALMOST 4 YEARS and hearthstone team didn't learn how to make a good card?!...i guess it could be good in 2019 where Kingsbane get rotated out but still...
get this to 30 durability play phantom freebooter crazed alchemist ??? profit
Playing 28 cards from another class on a single game. Seems viable.
primordial glyph into primordial glyph into primordial glyph into primordial glyph into primordial glyph into primordial glyph into primordial glyph etc etc etc
I get the joke behind it but technically you couldn't do this as glyph would discover a rogue spell.
I actually would have loved this card before Kingsbane came out. Burgle Rogue is one of my favourite decks of all time and as bad as some people believe this card to be, you could easily get 10 or so hits out of one of these. Add a couple buffs in and it easily has its value. That being said, it's way too easy to get a big Kingsbane for far cheaper, and it's far less vulnerable to weapon destruction. Knowing this, and being aware of the rotation of amazing burgle cards like Shaku and Peddler, this weapon really should have come out a year ago so that it could have had an actual shot at being used.
EDIT: Wait, I didn't see the lifesteal on this before... That maybe changes things for me. Nice thing about this is you wouldn't have to dedicate an immense number of slots to it like you do with Kingsbane. Kingsbane + Leeching Poison was already 3 mana so this does save some tempo in that sense.
Blizzard made another card that is total garbage in a mirror matchup, I played a lot of burglar rogue for fun in ladder, not viable and when vs another rogue you get no benefits. Should be play a card that didn't start in your deck. From what I've seen so far rogue will be in a tough spot. If they don't want to give us solid cards then just hall of fame the cards that you are scared of us being able to use if it means a better future. Tired of being forced into miracle as well.

Why would you play this when Kingsbane is still around?
And Obsidian Shard is better for budget decks, not to mention that most of the cards that grand you cards from other classes or benefit from doing so are rotating.
Scales very well with weapon buffs. With a single Deadly Poison it's deal 10 + heal 10, which is 2 swings of Uther DK sword.Being able to increase durability is a nice bonus.
Seems underrated. It's definitely playable. Not in a Kingsbane deck, in a different one. This weapon doesn't require you to build your deck around it. A couple of weapon attack buffs is all it takes. And if Burgle Rogue sees play in Wild or Standard, this will be a staple there.
Even though I hate the burgle mechanic, healing is so strong in rogue. And this will need less support than kingsbane. Maybe there is a way to keep the durability up and buff this weapon. We'll see.
But now that they printed this, they will print more burgle cards and that just depresses me....
Oh my. Just a 2/2 for 4! The hunter rechargable one is 3/2 for 3 for playing good cards, not this abomination that recharges for random unplayable cards.
I feel so sorry for the ones who have preordered! Feels like Blizzard literally stole from you.
Yeah but this one heals you and you are in control of recharging it, not your opponent. Both of these differences are significant, especially in a class where a tiny bit of extra healing very often makes the difference between a win and loss.
It should also be said that if you get a 'random unplayable' card through burgle effects (or other), this makes them somewhat playable as pseudo-removal and/or healing. Most of the time you get a card that is quite playable by itself anyway.
Its a semiplayable card ,but in view of Kingsbane exist, this is an unplayable card.
As others have said, it is not competing with Kingsbane because Kingsbane needs half a deck built around it, whereas the Cutlass requires small changes to a deck(s) that cannot fit the tools for Kingsbane.
Of course burgle decks are mostly for fun and not competitive so I doubt this card will impact the meta at all, but it still has a place in the game.
Burgle rogue was never a thing, this will never be a thing. I mean it's not THAT much better than your basic hero power and you need to put it in a non-existant archetype.

Extremely bad because Kingsbane is so much better. For 4 mana? It's a joke.

No one cares about Rogue. Wait, what about their Legendary? This could be ok depending on what else they get.
I was already wondering where the burgle crap was this expansion. Still had some hope they would stop printen burgle stuff.
Useless Rogue weapon - check

why even print this? If this was for 1 maybe but even then it's still debatable if it would be better than kingsbane.

Another random rogue card thrown in the mix. Below average weapon, I wouldn't put this even in burgling rogue.
Top deck is cheat
TRASH
100 Dust!!!

Very cool design but when Kingsbane exists there is no reason to play that.
