So the obscene play is turn 5 Rebuke into Divine Favor, turn 6 Rebuke, turn 7 win. I think this will be so strong that it will only be countered by running taunt or creature/weapon-based damage, so I think this is a good meta push for the return of taunt and Whirlwind Warrior archetypes.
People saying this card sucks are out of their mind. It's an incredibly good way to spend 2 mana anytime you actually have a solid board to protect you from defile, twisting nether, etc. Against some matches this literally denies a turn for the opponent
Game has become way more proactive in the last years. They can just play minions. And This is to expensive to weave in after Call to Arms/Tarim which would be the moment to play this.
Also this is a super useless card in the first turns, you want to basically put a card you never want to play before turn 5 in an aggro deck, that will never work. its super crucial to get your early game curve rolling.

Also dead topdeck.
It's worse than Loatheb for sure but it will certainly have its place in a control heavy meta. It's just like Divine Favor in the sense that that it's a dead draw against aggro but a god draw against control decks where a Spreading Plague or a Twisting Nether ends your game on the spot
This is easily the worst card in the game period. Loathep Drawed AND plaed this for 0 mana as a 5/5 curve play (Which was pretty much top notch stats during that time possible)
this is a dead topdeck, no tempo since you payed 2 mana for 0 stats enemy can just answer with a curve minion and you basically lost.
All those geniusses plz explain how you have 2 mana over after your insane tempo swing turn to actually secure youre position.
0/5 stars
O shit we got ourselves a hipster over here. First of all, nobody cared about Loatheb for his great stats, so many pros and other content creators have stated that he could be a 2/2 and they'd still play him for 5 mana, it's the effect that matters.
Denying your opponent from playing any spells for a turn is huge, it allows you to set up a greater board, plus this is 2 mana so you can even throw in a handful of minions and it stacks so if you have a board that can kill them next turn, you play both copies and boom they literally cant do anything except maybe put up a Taunt minion. Sure playing against a minion heavy deck like hunter this becomes almost useless.
While I think, that this is a really good/ OP card in druid, I'm not really seeing it in token.
Aggro druids don't have a good card draw generation. Meaning, that 2 of these in the early game will be a bad, slow hand, which aggro druids want to avoid. I'm not saying, that this won't be used as a tech, but please don't overreact to it. You have to look at every possible perspective.
This card, however, in a mid-range deck with bunch of strong draws is perfect and can become really oppressive.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- [edit] Hmm, for some reason as saw this card as a brown-ish one and I associated it with druid. Hmmm, in paladin this can be a different story, since paladins have Divine Favor.... F*ck, this is busted in every aggro and mid-range deck, isn't it?
This will be nerfed to at least 3 mana, mark my words... but, like patches, we will be able to play it for 2 mana for at least a year lol. Imagine sunkeeper on 8 with a full board of 3/3 And then this card... Sorry no blizzard or flamestrike for you!! Haha i love it, too bad i can't play it in my favorite pally deathrattle nzoth control deck.. only in wild..
Tirion + Rebuke is a beast on turn10 and enables some dirty cube+umbra stuff for the following turn. Too bad Nzoth rotates out but this kind of cards can enable some control combos which were impossible in standard.
I really don't agree with the general assessment of this card. Do I want to use one or 2 slots in my deck for this card ? Short answer: hell no.
In aggro, I want to flood the board and have threats, then this card is of no use. In control, I want to remove my opponent's board if it's agro; if it's a control match-up, they don't care because they can wait a turn to play their spells.
Are you (still) afraid when you see Loatheb in Wild nowadays ? I'm not. Rebuke is trash tier, I really don't understand the hype. And it's total garbage in arena.
Doesnt like every single deck in wild still run Loatheb? Not that this card is anywhere near as good as he is. I agree that this probably isn't worth playing though.

In aggro you want threats on the board. This keeps them there by denying any AOE SPELLS.
In control you want to not die. This keeps combos from killing you for a turn.
Mans while it doesn’t come with a body, it leaves you mana to do whatever you want with.
People say that’s not as good as loatheb. In general maybe. But don’t forget the fact that paladin always has a full board. So I think this one fits perfectly in paladin, it will be meta defining even in wild.
remember in your aggro paladin matchups they must find a way to use 2 mana that does not develop the board whatsoever. Next time you play an aggro pally see how often they have 2 mana to throw around.
Certainly a strong card, but nowhere near loatheb levels. Fits much better into a midrange deck.
Good in a control or combo meta. Without the effect coming with a body I don't see this as an auto-include in Paladin decks. Definitely powerful in the right meta though.

It might let Paladin become the anti-miracle deck

Very good card in any Paladin deck. It will be an auto include in every Paladin deck until set gets rotated out.
Oh no baby ! what is you doing ?
Seems broken tbh
in a lot of instances this is actually better than loatheb when you're strapped for mana and need this effect.
This will make Aggro Paladin top tier for a looong time. Also Sunkeeper Tarim becomes just insane now that this exists.

I actually think this card might be too expensive at 2 mana.
