Loatheb is incredibly powerful, but the the effect on a 5/5 for 5 is waaay better than just the effect for 2. Plus, Paladin doesn't really seem able to capitalize on this. Neat, though.
casting this before a tarim/levelup next turn isent "able to capitalize" on it and completely lock most opponents out from doing anything about it?? worrying that the dumbest post in the thread is the first post with the most upvotes
these are the same people that called Tarim a weaker Eadric the Pure....LOL.
atleast the voters got it right..
If you go to the list of all Paladin decks on HSreplay and sort by winrate, the strongest Paladin deck running Rebuke is the 49th strongest Paladin deck overall. You, and the voters, were wrong.
I have only one excuse - the meta turned out to be quite aggressive and minion-based, so a Rebuke effect isn't worth it. Yes, I was one of those, who rated this card high. I just imagined how the paladin player would try to counter any control deck, who desperately wants to clear the board. I still believe that this time will come but until it does, I invite anyone to rub their right prediction all over my face.

hehe, indeed, just came to say “i told u soooo”
You better believe it :) if someone acts like a condescending jerk to me, I'll take any chance I can get to rub their failure in their face
Turns out that Paladin can refill the board so many times that he doesn't really give a fuck about the board clear.
That is literally not the main reason this card is bad. This could cost 0 and it would still probably not see play in most decks as an actual card which you put in your deck even if it was neutral.

Exactly, like I wrote earlier somewhere in this thread, one of the main reasons why Loatheb was so good ( besides his impressive body) , was that ( I believe so) he was created to counter the meta back Then.
Miracle Rouge was all over the place ( also because Leeroy and Auctioneer were one mana cheaper) and the effect was literally the only thing how to interact with that deck.( besides SMOrcing ofc)
Nowadays we have Token spammers , Voiddaddys on 5 ,Taunt Druid,or spiteful decks. No Loatheb effect stops their powerturns.

Heh.. all the hype and in the end Raid Leader sees more play than this card. told you so! :)
Lets see, what did i vote... dust it !
Meh i guess its not worth the small amount.
Ho boi did the community get this one wrong...
This just isn't that good without the body.

Anger is the punishment we give ourselves for someone else's mistake.

The most overrated card of the set probably )
