kinda anti-synergistic - i guess it's ok after playing UI, but mostly a dead draw in aggro/token druid, the only archetypes that would benefit from this card
Yeah guys summoning potentially 7-7 worth of stats for 4 mana (at turn 3( and controlling the board next turn with those 1/1s is a "bad" card. Or it eats an aoe which is still 1-1 trade.
How are you going to have 7 cards in hand on Turn 3 (after you've burned the coin and this card)?
If by some miracle you get 6 or 7 wisps on board and have them survive a turn, you could follow up with cult master to draw your deck. Could be used in combo/token druid? Why do I feel like I'm grasping for wisps... er I mean straws here?
Just because it doesn't fit well in any of today's standard decks doesn't mean this won't be a very good card.
Druid already has some tools that work really well with this card Crypt Lord, Branching Paths. If there's enough support in this set for this sort of archetype, it could turn out to be quite strong.
I could maybe see this if Druid had early card draw. It could make a pseudo-version of Molten Giant with some flexibility in exchange for sheer power. It could've also been half-way decent if its cost was odd because the Druid's HP is significantly better after upgrade in the early game. I like the idea of giving control decks some tokens to combat early aggression.
unless we see some more strong druid board buffs, I don't see this card seeing play, just shows how bad Wisps of the Old Gods is.
Forbidden Ritual saw some play in zoo, but was removed from all variations after karazhan came out.
Dark Wispers wasn't played either. The problem is you will play this 4 mana card and get your board wiped out from Spirit Lash, Defile, or any number on 1 damage board clears. You'd have to play this in conjunction with some other buffs to be remotely worthwhile and in Aggro Druid decks you typically will have a near empty hand most of the time. Playing the other Witchwood Apple can help refill your hand, but that's till garbage too. It's just going to need some amazing synergy to work.

Playability of this card depends on the rest of the set greatly. If there is a cheap draw 2 in the set for Druid (besides the Treants spell), it'll be pretty good. Otherwise it's for an archetype that is not supported yet.
This looks like it might require either a new archetype or a very weird token build that somehow allows you to hold 5-7 cards in your hand to make this viable.

This can easily be equivalent to Stand Against Darkness, which sees tons of play right now in Dude Paladin decks. The only question is whether or not Druid will be able to get the cheap buffs they need to make this valuable after Mark of the Lotus rotates.
I really don't see this being any good unless we get something else this expansion that will support playing this which is quite possible seeing as we've only seen a fraction of the set so far, we'll have to wait and see, but with cards like defile and duskbreaker still around and even the new warrior echo card it's hard to see.

As an aggro druid this sucks cause you'll have 3-4 cards at best so its a 4 mana 3/3 or 4/4 which sucks.
As a control druid this still sucks cause why would you want 1/1s in a control deck?

I found the actual version of this card

The way it is now, it looks pretty bad, though.
This card is at least meta defining. I am shocked how people underestimate it.
comparing to -Call in the Finishers didn't saw play, even with Everyfin is Awesome in rotation.

Maybe some kind of token hand druid? Seems eh in the world of our warlock overlords, but it could be strong with enough token support.

Just bad, the spell put 2/2 per mana crystal is faaaaaaaaaaar superior than this.
