Yeah... no. Why the fuck would any aggro deck play a 0-attack card? Why would it care about taunt? Why not play Argent Squire instead?
because taunt is good in allowing you to go face with other minions. not saying its a good card, but divine shield/taunt is always very good which is why aggro paladin runs righteous protector and zoolock runs voidcaller. this might get played in keleseth buff paladin as well
I messed around with a tempo handbuff taunt warrior last month and when you could get Stolen Goods to land on Saronite Chain Gang, it had an extremely high win-rate. The problem was getting the right balance of taunts that you had a good chance of landing Stolen Goods on Saronite but Stolen Goods didnt end up a dead card in hand. This could be a card that actually makes that deck better. Probably still not near tier 1/2, but a T3 Tazdingo with Divine Shield isn't exactly easy to deal with.
Here we have a prime example of a minion the 1/3 Hunter weapon can't remove, rendering it useless for early game. This is one of the strongest cards yet, and you will be seeing it more than you may like. What makes it better than other choices is the utility. Got nothing? - fine it tanks some damage for you. Late game, complex trade scenario? fine, the equation just turned in your favor. Buff it? free keywords.
