You only get one copy, but you can ensure that you get the card you want. Great for late game. Mages play a ton of value minions (think Elise/Sindragosa/Antonidas/Medivh) and this will get you more battlecry for your buck). Molten Reflection doesn't do the job for that.
Great in value mage or if you've really lowered the cost of your arcane giants. Having 2 Medivh or 2 Sindragosa or 2 Alexstrasza is pretty powerful. Wouldn't run more than 1 copy though. 2 would be way to greedy.
yeah, but copies it from your hand so you don't have to expose it to the board to copy it. I see this card being infuriating to play against if the mage can use it for apprentice shenanigans. Also could be a pain in the arse with Crystal Runners.
might be better than molten reflection for quest mage, might be worse., mayb both. will have to see.
Worse. Molten Reflection costs 2 or 1 mana for an additional Sorcerer's Apprentice. This always costs 5 mana, but can be spread over multiple turns. You may however end up running both.
thats what Im thinking, will have to see how quest mage changes in the new xpac
... and here comes the second epic I'll unpack in droves when the expansion hits. The first one being Bring It On!, of course...
Does it copy to hand or to battlefield?
So if you have only antonidas in hand, you could play this and there you have it! 7 mana remaining for some good fireballs generator
This is a better duplicate (in most aspects).

Which one is it?
Simulacrum in Archmage Antonidas in Molten Reflection in Spell
x2 Archmage Antonidas on board + 3 Fireball at 8 + spell cost in mana ;)

The 1 on the right would be ridiculously broken. I can't imagine they'd make a card like that.

Strictly better Ancestral Call. I'd say will be nerfed in 3 months.
Could be a trigger for the little boy Antonio and maybe very usefull, we'll see.
to me: Playable.
This is a very good Dirty Rat counter for Quest mage
Well shit, Exodia Mage just got a massive buff.
Because mages need more ways to get those Sorcerer's Apprentices....sigh.
So, yeah. This will likely see play...
