Doesn't seem like cubelocks will change their deck much even with the nerfs they got. Cube left unscathed, and lackey into pact into void/doomguard is still very possible, just one turn later and 4 heal less. Will be interesting if Cubelock reclaims there seat as the top meta deck with even paly getting nerfed with CtA
fixed the animation time by doubling it. As well as give a cap to the battlecries which is still a large amount at 20 that is likely doubled to 40 with murmuring anyways.
Still allows the OTK decks, but doesn't make it frustrating to sit through with the long turn timers.
Doesn't change the OTK potential of Shudderwock as not only murmuring gives it a cap of 40 but also getting copies of the original still is in play. The value imo was the ability to get multiple in your hand. Also does fix the animation time lasting a couple minutes with the double speed.
I still have him. I think he was either one of my first legendaries or something back right after Hearthstone released (was a beta player).
He's not great. Depends what type of class/deck you are playing. He has a poly with a 50% chance downside of being a 5/5 that can affect your own board. But if you are facing huge taunt decks or minions with just real good stats/deathrattle's where even a 5/5 is still good and don't mind the RNG then he's decent especially as a low amount of card F2P account.
Unless he was a gold legendary...then just dust it and get another meta legendary...
My guess is they'll change Chain Gang and Doppelgangster to work more like Echoing Ooze. They can't really change either of the legendaries without completely changing their effect, and they don't like changing legendaries anyways because that means they messed up on a major card and they have to give away more dust.
Your example of Echoing Ooze would still from my understanding summon more than one Shudderwock. It still says "This minion" and because its Shudderwock using the battlecry it would summon a copy of it and at least create a couple of 6/6's on your opponent's turn. The shaman player could then continue the combo next turn if one survive's using Grumble, Worldshaker's bounce back. Changing to end of turn would also hurt any evolve shaman that relied on them for evolves.
If Blizz really wants to kill the combo of having even more than one Shudderwock summon in a chain while not disrupting other cards. They just need to change any "copies of this minion" to something like "copies of [enter card name]". So when Shudderwock casts the battlecry it just for example would summon a copy of Saronite Chain Gang rather than another Shudderwock. It would have taunts to protect him but no more infinite combo.
As long as shaman find a way to survive and stall until Turn 9+ against aggro, etc. With no Maelstrom Portal, Devolve, etc in standard. I think this card will end up being at the very least good.

Solid card. That 3 damage vs 2 of the hunters is a good boost. Even without that face damage extra

Very solid card. Targettable removable and and will replace some low stat high cost minions with high stat same cost minions 2x
4
A targettable spell that you can cast twice and get 2x of a minion that is the same Mana cost as you destroy...
That is some strong stuff right there. Especially in arena.

It's there to support you. But you still have to depend the type of archetype you are going for and build with that in mind.

I'll miss this...
guess we will see more of these guys now...unless Blizz get's another face in the mix

Nooo his famous laughs every stream with him in it will be missed...Will be hard to replace his personality/charm on streams...
Will be interesting to see what his "new company" produces.

wow...
his famous laugh every expansion will be missed. He seemed like a great spokesperson for the game with his personality.
Nobody can blame Brode for a consistent bad luck streak in HS anymore.

At least Blizz is looking at ways to still tweak Arena. Right now arena is almost as bad as pre-original hotfix.
Hopefully they continue to fix it and adjust as the months go along every expansion. Seems like they are finally caring more about Arena balance.

It's good that they are still tweaking the Arena balance. Interesting they brought back the rarity into the appearance equation.
