First thing I thought of when I saw this card was the Grim Patron activator and "Everyone, Get In Here". haha, but this card is good because its an activator for enrage cards, acolyte of pain activator amongst many other things, so all in all i say this card will see play for sure.

Rumors are carried by haters, spread by fools, and accepted by idiots.
Everybody is thinking tempo warrior but I see Control warrior. Solid one drop stats to contest the board and pick apart aggro. The next minion you play after this guy will most likely be a Acolyte or a Bloodhoof Brave, which become better when played with this card. And if you dont draw it on turn 1 you have it later in the game to combo with Grommash. Early and late game possibilities with this card. Control warrior doesnt run very many minions so I could see this as a good fit.
I dunno guys. Patron Warrior has waaay better combo activating options, and an aggressive Tempo Warrior would only want to hit Amani Berserker on turn 2. So it's a 1 mana 1/3 that you don't play on turn 1 and isn't good as a combo tool.
Ehhhhhh, I'm not sold on this one. Somebody convince me. I see potential, but I can't think of anything.
First of all this is 1/3 minion with ongoing effect. You don't need weaken your deck and empty your hand with Whirlwind or Blood To Ichor for enrage/acolyte effects now.
I'm absolutely sure this card will be staple for any tempo-warrior deck next expansion.
As I've suggested on others' comments, isn't Blood To Ichor just a better card? It's more flexible because it can hit enemies, and a 2/2 can trade for 2-drops, a 1/3 cannot. Against pirates the 1/3 is better, but that's it.
Blood To Ichor not allways better than this minion. On my t1 I can't play Blood. When PW or rogue on t1 plays 1/1 and Patches I can't play it too. Also this minion greatly increase value of Amani Berserker. 5/2 on curve on t2 is a great think against slow decks like priest or jade druid. Priest really requires burn his SW:D to deal with it and druid has to use Wraith without a draw instead of ramp.
Used spoiler tags so this isn't huge. I agree with all of your points, this card is definitely better against pirates than Blood. I don't think it will make Amani Berserker any better though. The synergy is there, but that would be in an aggro or aggressive midrange deck that is slower than pirate warrior (and likely has less burst damage). It's soooo tough for those kinds of decks to gain traction against Mage or faster aggressive decks. It's like trying to play Face Hunter right now. It just feels awful.
Face Hunter is my go to deck when ranking up to rank 5. Not sure whatcha on about.

It is the dream 1 drop for warrior control, you can easily setup draw engines and fight the 1 drop minions of opponent when don't draw axe.
Acolyte, Berserker, Armorsmith and so other many minions and spells, you can free give 1 damage into your minions with this and unlike spells the opponent have to remove or the effect goes on...
But it's not for free. It's still another card. And if you have ever played Priest then you know that 1/3 minion on it's own is pretty shit. If anything whirlwind is more free since 1 dmg AOE is a good card on its own.
I dunno where you've been the last 2 or so years but 1/3 minions are pretty common in more decks than just priests. They also perform well because of their ability to survive at least 2 turns and contest the many 1/1s.
Also 2/3s are terrible, that's why they've barely seen fringe play since pretty much forever. A 5/2 on the other hand requires an answer.
Is Blizzard literally making cards that are only for Wild? I don't see this being played in standard. Granted we haven't seen all the new cards yet, but unless there is a 2 mana damage synergy card, I just don't see the use of this at all?

You likely wouldn't want to hit armorsmith or berserker with this unless you want them to be easily killed by 2 mana minions or all of the 3 damage spells Heartstone has. 4 health is much better than 3. This card will need more synergy to be playable because with the card pool we have now there's just not enough positive synergy to justify running this over the other enrage activators.
Interesting. I have an enrage Warrior that's one of my favorite decks to play in casual, but I think there are already plenty of enrage triggers as it is. This might be useful mid-game if you can land it before a Bloodhoof Brave or Gurubashi Berserker, but I don't think you can afford to take the damage if you're playing an Amani Berserker or Raging Worgen on curve (unless it's on an empty board). I'd rather trigger the enrage via a trade and make my opponent use removal.
Possible Enrage Warrior incoming?
to make godly curves in a midrange / tempo deck. its always good to start the game with a 1/3.
follow it up with the 2/3 berserker (now a 5/2 on turn 2), a 3/3 frothing berserker or a instant draw with acolye, a 5/5 taunt tauren, and so goes on.
not sure if the stats of this curve will be good enought, but i learned to always trust on the 1 drop, 1/3 of every class.
shaman trogg, paladin murloc inquisidor, mage manawhirm, priest northshire cleric, warlock voidcaller / that imp that draws when you discard.

So you thought only Mage had an exodia combo eh

Angry Chicken Handbuff Warrior Incoming?
Just missing a two drop to curve.
My magic will tear you apart!

so yeah, midrange warrior might be a thing, and with the insane midrange card they released yesterday it might even be good.
Just fill your deck with one drops, that is creative deck design, right?
I voted bad, but only because I can't see a deck for it. If one appears, this could easily be a very good card.
I'm going to try some sort of Emperor/ Sudden Genesis/ Axe Flinger/ this card combo in wild
In most cases in Standard, it will live long enough to activate exactly one minion.
Is that good enough? I guess we'll see.

I'm really excited for this in a midrange warrior deck with enrage minions, Acolyte of Pain, Battle Rage, etc.
Check out my fun and innovative decks here:
Beat your opponent to a pulp with Revenant Warrior or outlast them with Demon Reno Warlock.
