There are obvious synergies within warrior I want to see if within the ramining 5 warrior cards there are additional enrage or "whenever this minion takes damage" cards and how good they are, it's good anyway goes well with acolyte, maybe amani berserker will finally see play..
Blood razor and Gromm cannot be played the same turn. But this is an insane t9 combo
I meant by holding the weapon until you need Grom to go in for 10. It's amazing with Death's Bite, the same will be the case for Blood Razor. At all times you have a 1 durability Blood Razor or Death's Bite up, you have 12 or 14 burst potential, respectively.
Phew, I don't know. With some obvious exception (AoE for 1/1s on the opponent's side), it is for sure a better play to summon Animated Berserker and then Acolyte of Pain than just cycling a whirlwind, but I think the benefitial use of this card is too narrow to make it a good card. Mostly, also warrior don't want to damage his own minions at least not when they are played. The cards that you want to damage are pretty much only Acolyte, Bloodhoof Brave and Grommash. If Amani berserker finds space in a deck then him as well (but I don't think he will make the cut). In the other cases, you damaging your own minions just enables better trades for your opponent. And you never want two of these on board.
But then again a 1/3 is an acceptable minion for turn 1, so if there will be enough viable cards playable on turns 2-4 that benefit from being damaged, it could make a valuable addition.
Nevertheless, with the cards we know so far, I voted bad (I see some potential, but that isn't a poll option and I don't think it will be played).
I dunno guys. Patron Warrior has waaay better combo activating options, and an aggressive Tempo Warrior would only want to hit Amani Berserker on turn 2. So it's a 1 mana 1/3 that you don't play on turn 1 and isn't good as a combo tool.
Ehhhhhh, I'm not sold on this one. Somebody convince me. I see potential, but I can't think of anything.
First of all this is 1/3 minion with ongoing effect. You don't need weaken your deck and empty your hand with Whirlwind or Blood To Ichor for enrage/acolyte effects now.
I'm absolutely sure this card will be staple for any tempo-warrior deck next expansion.
As I've suggested on others' comments, isn't Blood To Ichor just a better card? It's more flexible because it can hit enemies, and a 2/2 can trade for 2-drops, a 1/3 cannot. Against pirates the 1/3 is better, but that's it.
Blood To Ichor not allways better than this minion. On my t1 I can't play Blood. When PW or rogue on t1 plays 1/1 and Patches I can't play it too. Also this minion greatly increase value of Amani Berserker. 5/2 on curve on t2 is a great think against slow decks like priest or jade druid. Priest really requires burn his SW:D to deal with it and druid has to use Wraith without a draw instead of ramp.

Used spoiler tags so this isn't huge. I agree with all of your points, this card is definitely better against pirates than Blood. I don't think it will make Amani Berserker any better though. The synergy is there, but that would be in an aggro or aggressive midrange deck that is slower than pirate warrior (and likely has less burst damage). It's soooo tough for those kinds of decks to gain traction against Mage or faster aggressive decks. It's like trying to play Face Hunter right now. It just feels awful.
I had an old enrage warrior deck I used to play, this would fit right in. Possibly also a old style grommash control warrior deck. This and acolyte of pain are best buddies.
I have to largely disagree with this being a reliable 'proactive' enabler. True, it can be viewed as one, but it's a weak 1 drop. Most players cannot reliably play this and expect it to survive for future turn activations. So while it technically can fill that role, it's not likely to.
It'd be like playing Northshire Cleric on an empty board and calling it proactive card draw. It's not likely to work out too often. Northshire Cleric is best played when she can be utilized immediately. I see no reason to think that this card should be viewed any differently. IE: You wouldn't be playing this minion unless you had an immediate activation. And, if that's going to be how this card is best utilized, then I reiterate, I don't see any good reason why a warrior would play it and use up one of their valued 30 cards to slot this guy in over the many other viable activation options.
The only reason I can come up with, and it's too early to tell if it's a good one or not, is when you only want to damage your side of the board without damaging your opponent's side. Maybe your opponent has their own Acolyte of Pain or other activators on board you don't wish to trigger. In that regard, this card is quite unique in it's function. However, that scenario is quite niche and I don't see it being necessary in any upcoming meta, though it is possible.
Playing northshire cleric on turn one and this in turn one create completely different situations for your opponent. Northshire cleric can be played around in that if I'm holding a 1-2 attack minion I don't play it because i don't want my opponent to have the option of drawing off it. Playing this on turn one is your opponent going out of their way to kill it? No why would they. The reason this card is absolutely viewed differently is that your opponent cannot play around you dropping this on 1 and having a follow up on 2 unless they go out of their way to kill it which is a tempo gain for you. Northshire cleric is played around by them hero powering until they play a 3 drop or better that denies you attacking, healing and drawing. i can't see why you would compare these two cards as they take the game in much different directions..
Maybe they have some crazy turn 2 enrage minion for warrior this expansion otherwise this card is weak.
So what was that again? Something about this expansion being the worst ever? ;)
I like it!

maybe an aggro enrage deck hhm..
In wild maybe could revive patron warrior.
The combo with Gromm...
could be viable in some sort of enrage warrior
I think this have potential to be next level of cancer Gurubashi Berserker and they can announce other enrage cards.

Cool card. Period.

I used to think Warrior already had enough cards for rage-inducing (or, in general, hurt your minions a little and gain something else).
Apparently, Blizz guys think otherwise.
Anyone remember Hogger, Doom of Elwynn? Yeah, he's still terrible.
DK Warrior HP: Give a damaged minion +3/+3
This is crazy good for non-pirate Warrior. Tunnel Trogg-good. Warrior has so many cards that activate effect when damaged!
