wow insane! a 5 5 taunt if die is back to your hand! omg true value! if only is there a better card for 2 mana he back in life... oh wait there is! so why i had to fucking play a card again and spend 1 more mana + the cost of the card instead of get it for 2 mana in board?
I don't know about which 2 mana card you're talking about so you mind clarifying that?! aside from that thing from below will quickly become a 0 mana 5/5 taunt, and getting to play 1 or multiple 0 mana 5/5 taunts with potential for more without milling your deck for 3 mana just seems (at least) pretty decent to me... but anyone can have their opinion of course
He's talking about the ancestral spirit that cost 2 and gives deathrattle return to the board alive. an arguably faster and more valueble card that rarely sees play because it's too non-proactive. this is even slower because you have to buy the minions. This is only ever good for the value, or maybe the murloc quest.
Value card, i dont get all this hype on this, if the meta slow down a lot can see play. Other than that , control priest still rape any other control deck.
You already have to always clear the board aganist because of Bloodlust and Flametongue Totem. Now you have yet another reason.
I think the true power of this is determined on how much you can combo with on the same turn, otherwise, it is a win-more, where Bloodlust would have won you the game anyway.
With their Tunnel Trogg+Totem Golem opening gone, winning the board early will be much harder in standard, so this might be a dead card pretty often.
Echo shaman? Thing from below, thing from below, echo to your hand, 2 free 5/5s. Thats assuming you have nothing on board too. Seems fun! Ancestral for consistency and some other big taunts to go with it.
This thing could actually make Murloc Shaman playable. Think about it: You fill your board with the cards that summon multiple Murlocs like Murloc Tidehunter and Call in the Finishers, then play this card on top of them so that your opponent is forced to give you even more quantitative value in raw Murloc-power if they want to use a board clear (unless, of course, they use Mass Dispel or Devolve). It would also significantly speed up the time it takes to trigger Unite the Murlocs, which is already pretty short. Of course, it will have other uses outside of Murloc Shaman as a card, but I'm just being insightful here.
This reminds me a ton of Blood Warriors, the 3 mana Warrior Epic that gives you a copy of all your damaged minions... But this is far better. It guards against board clears, and works on small minions that might not survive damage - especially one health guys. It's an deathrattle delayed version of Echo of Medivh which was a pretty cool card, and for one mana less I think this will be great. At 3 mana you'll even be able to play something pretty good (5, 6, or 7 drop) and then cast this on the same turn.
I swear every time any mildy decent card is printed people ask why rouge didn't get it. To answer your question, Raptor is rotating out as well as the tomb pillager. It's been made fairly clear from the design of the last few expansions that they want rouge to be a class that "steals" cards or plays lots of the same cards. Not a deathrattle class.
They are mad because it would be a great addition to the play the same stuff archetype not because it's a deathrattle card. It would also make up for the loss of raptor in jade rogue.

Because this lets you replay the same cards.
The deathrattle here is just the vehicle. It's not the reason for the card. It doesn't interact with N'Zoth or anything like that.
People just want to make the Rogue quest easier to complete. Spirit Echo would make it almost trivial, so I'm actually very glad Rogues won't get their hands on it.

Man face shaman will rise again!!!!
Fake, a shaman card that is not insane good, broken and undercosted cannot be real...
This would of made the Rogue quest way to easy to complete. If they had this card they might of had to change it to play 5, instead of 4.
good value card.

Terrible card. It won't see competitive play. It's a slow, gimmicky, win more card. Good for "fun" Timmy decks.

Seems like a very good card!
So, this just automatically makes a lot of Shaman decks now, right? Holy crap....
Why not a Rogue card though?
this is meant to be played in a murloc deck, just look at the art for this card.
Drop a bunch of murlocs the first couple turns then drop this to refill your hand when they inevitably board clear.
Aya combo. Use as s one of in midrange jade to raise your jade counter top end.

High value low-cost spell for shaman murloc and possibly elemental decks? Counterspell should find some more play if this defines the shaman meta
