Personally I play Steal Priest and I just steal their threats - this is how I narrow their resurrection pool.
If you don't want to play this class, then I suggest trying out lasses with a lot of transformation spells.
[edit] In the past I used to run Potion of Madness, but I cut it because I thought it was underwhelming in the deck. It's not really useful against other MUs and if the Big Priest opponent playes Barnes before you draw the potion, it becomes useless.
They should nerf Barnes to not have the quests blessing because my opponents always, never fails, not in a single f...... game, play the card in turn 4 (turn 3 with coin) in more than 20 games, what make me to believe the card always comes in the starting hand.
It wouldn’t be such a big deal if all the resurrection cards would bring back the same 1/1 copy that was killed and not the full attack and health version, which is ridiculous.
I've been playing Odd Control Warrior in Wild this season, and basically I don't beat Big Priest. Maybe I've beaten 2 out of 10 or something, and one of those had a non-standard deck with Sylvanas, aka Polluter of Rez Pools. Yesterday I got really close to beating one, but I needed one more round of the Dr. Boom hero power that gives armor.
Control Warrior is highly favored in this MU. The only way to lose is if he has Barnes into Y'Shaarj or Rag.
Evaluate if you really need to kill that first minion of him. Especially an early Statue does nothing, and a 5/5 Lichking when they have a full hand isn't too threatening either.
Deathlords are situationally good, if you plan to AoE next turn anyways or if you need to pull out a second minion to use Supercollider.
While this is a Fatigue matchup, cycling your Shield Blocks if you need armor is good. You'll catch up later anyways. Even in legend, no Big Priest tries to play this matchup to Fatigue by entombing, playing and resurrecting Direhorn Hatchlings.
Don't play Dr. Boom in this MU, you don't need the value of it, tank up for survival is better.
I played a lot of odd warrior this season in rank 5-L, big priest is one of my easiest matchups. Do you run coldlight oracle x2? You should always be mulliganning for these guys against Priest as they allow you to burn both their big minions as well as their Rez spells which severely limits their recovery. Also keep shield slam and death lord. Deathlord is there for maximizing the number of things you pull out of their deck before a clear. Remember shadow essence becomes a dead draw once they’ve drawn all their minions and you really don’t care about pulling more big guys once you’ve passed turn 5 and have a clear (preferably 2) in hand.
Use early turns to build up as much armor as needed to slam any threats. You should be running 2x reckless fury and brawl so 4 mostly full clears. Combined with shield slam to kill any big single Rez threats like rag or lich king (ignore obsidian usually). Make sure you have one clear in reserve for each spellstone (and mind the shadow visions).
My guess is the biggest mistake odd warrior players are making if they’re struggling against big priest is panicking and using their clears too early. Take advantage of other methods, particularly super collider (with violet illusionist if necessary), dynomatic, and bash to trade, and if you have a huge reserve of armor don’t be afraid to take a big hit to the face in order to bait them into going wide with the rest of their Rez cards.

I don't see how Odd Control Warrior is favored. Barnes into Ragnaros/Y'shaarj happens regularly. Turn 6 Shadow Essence Ragnaros/Y'shaarj happens regularly. You basically only win if Big Priest gets Barnes from Shadow Essence. Once Big Priest starts spewing out huge minions every round, Odd Control Warrior will probably not have enough removal to keep up. My deck cannot reliably remove a huge minion each turn for four turns in a row. Now Big Priests usually play with Thaurissan. If Thaurissan is summoned early by Barnes or Shadow Essence, he must be removed. I don't play against
I even have Crush and Big Game Hunter, and it's not enough. Yes, I have a chance, but so does anyone if Big Priest doesn't get his cards in the right order.
I always struggle against Big Priest to the point it is no longer fun.
It's always the same deck people play with zero creativity. They copy-pasted it from the internet, and get their easy wins. Isn't hearthstone all about creativity and creating your own, fun deck? What's the point of playing if you just want easy wins?

If you try to build a certain archetype deck by yourself, you almost always end up with some deck very similar to the one that can be net-decked. Luckily there are some players constantly trying something different. WowHobbs, Chump and others.

Happend to me. Made odd questwarrior and it ended just four cards difftent to the T1 metadeck. But i constantly do very diffrent things too so ...
I usually beat them when playing a sap / vanish type of deck, like old kingsbane or mill rogue atm
coldlight and vanish really recks them because they can't get rid of their hand at all, also an early sap can make you survive against an early Barnes, unless its a Y'shaarj 1/1, then rip

This little change maybe be enough.

Easy counter : Bran Bronzebeard into Kazakus into Zola the gorgon get 1 - 5 - 10 mana costs polymorph and thats it . he only have sheep to resurect .
If they don´t highroll with barnes my mill druid destroys them. Even when they play barnes T4 often only rolling Y'Shaarj, Rage Unbound wins.
The only bad part is that my deck is weak to aggro and any pirate (also murloc but those are rare) just destroys me ...
I just won vs one with my reno priest deck. Just focussed on their life total instead of their minions (well only when getting "out of hand").
Except Devolve will turn the 8/9/10 mana minion into random one mana less minion with full stats, so you need to be lucky to get one "sucky: minion.

Casual, standard, wild, brawl are full of copy/paste decks, that means Hearthstone is not about creativity. People like wins.

Kicking minions back is a horrible mechanic, It doesnt even make sense that an "assassin" has that ability.
Fun > Meta
Easy OTK them back, tip: Rogue Malygos
