Hi guys, just wanted to help some people out with these huge changes coming with ROS that will change the power level of every class. I want to keep this rather short so i'll be as blunt and to the point as possible. Starting with Warrior.
Warrior is the class that will be the most effected by these changes it wasn't until the last 2-3 expansions Warrior started to gain power in Arena, now that they are losing basically every card that made them good they will once again be rock bottom dead last garbage tier just like what they used to be for years on end. On top of everything they got completely shafted in ROS. So don't go in drafting Warrior thinking they will still be a powerhouse. You will be in for a surprise.
The next biggest impact is Warlock. Anyone that has played Hearthstone during this era will know this was the time where the seas parted and Warlock reigned supreme over the galaxy with infinite board clears and broken cards and everyone trembled before Abyssal Enforcer. Warlock will be the #1 class in this meta.
The Arena rankings will be like this or very similar.
If you draft Warrior it's heavily dependent on getting Death's Bite, Ravaging Ghoul and Warpath you will get stomped without drafting them. Warrior is losing a lot of good tools and getting not a whole lot back...A couple whirlwind effects. That's it. While Warlock, Rogue and Mage are getting very powerful value cards, and Warrior will never have a answer for it.
I don't take issue with your warrior bearishness, but I would bet a pre-order of the next set that priest will be either number 2 or number 3 on the list when results come in.

Enjoying Americans winning in the Olympics is forbidden because it is political. A 14 plus page discussion of state-sponsored lawsuits against a multi-national corporation based on harassment, discrimination, and wrongful death allegations is apparently not political enough to raise an issue.
Idk, Kripp says that Priest is going to be the best, because they have all of their best cards back. And Kripp is pretty much the best arena player around, so I trust his insight in that area.

Yes, but he had a sample size of 1 draft for each class when he said that. He did not get the best options for Warlock when he went through that draft, and because he didn't get a few key offered cards, I don't think he's fully realized all of what is back for Lock.
Having said that, no way priest is #5.

The cards you listed is basically ALL they are getting. Three premium cards back, that's it.
Sure, but it might be enough. It is a huge difference vs back in a day now with the bucket system. We dont know how will it look like in the end. You might not get offered often those super premium cards other classes get tons of, or they will most likely be against each other. Same can happen with these cards for warrior, sure.
I understand that what you listed are just predictions, but you made it sound like a done deal, which is not.

Priest won't overtake Rogue and highly unlikely they will over Mage as well. I could see them being better than Druid tho sitting at 4th.
I will add that before when these card sets were new, Priest was sitting at 4th-5th last time.
I remember when I drafted Kazakus, Medivh, the Guardian and Lord Jaraxxus when I just started playing. I was such a noob and I still got 9 wins, I agree with OP about Warlock

He is but i would take the word of ADWCTA and Merps over Kripp an day, they actually have algorithms everything is calculated. ADWCTA thinks Priest will be mid-tier 4-5th.

I just speak with a lot of confidence. I have been in the top 50 myself several times basically anytime i wish too when time allows, i have been doing nothing but Arena since the beginning. A lot of what Merps and ADWCTA said during their in-depth arena meta review was largely my own thoughts as well. Back when ravaging ghoul was new it did help Warrior a lot because in that point of time they were rock bottom, but if you can remember it wasn't enough they were still in a really bad spot. It wasn't until 2-3 expansions later efforts were made to get Warrior off the bottom. A valid point would be the addition of new ROS cards which they never had last time, but if you look at there class cards you will see they are getting probably the worst arena cards out of all the classes so that even puts them more behind. Only cards worth note is Omega Devastator and Sweeping Strikes....But now you compare it to the top classes like Rogue... Unidentified Contract, Hench-Clan Burglar, EVIL Miscreant....Mage Conjurer's Calling, Power of Creation ....There is a sizable power level difference.
It will be interesting to see if Abyssal Enforcer will have the old offering rates or the new ones were it got reduced by 50%, how exactly that will be addressed in the bucketing system. If it's like the old offering rates Warlock will be untouchable. Those were some nightmare days when every Warlock had 2-3 of those things.
You guys know that the bucket system will make arena really diferent from before right?? its not like it was before that having plenty good cards makes you get more top tier cards, you wont choose between enforcer and mortal coil or some trash neutral anymore.

1. Warlock
2. Rogue
3. Mage

5. Priest
6. Hunter
7. Paladin
8. Shaman
9. Warrior
Merps and ADWCTA ranked the classes this way as well.
GL in Arena.
Warrior is gonna get Death's Bite, Ravaging Ghoul and N'Zoth's First Mate back, nuff said lol. Not to mention Grimestreet Informant. Yuck.

Won't be enough. It wasn't back then and it won't be the second time around. Other classes have much more powerful cards and Warrior is getting basically nothing from the ROS cards themselves. No Devastate, Omega Assembly, Dragon Roar, Rocket Boots, Blood Razor, Dyn-o-matic, Supercollider, Sul'thraze, Lesser Mithril Spellstone. They're right back to the bottom.
The cards you listed is basically ALL they are getting. Three premium cards back, that's it.
Now look at a class like Warlock on what they are getting back and from ROS. Felfire Potion, DOOM!, Abyssal Enforcer, Kazakus, Kabal Trafficker, Blastcrystal Potion. Probably a couple more am missing. Kabal Courier, Possessed Villager, Forbidden Ritual.

Priest is going to be insane.. dragonfire, talonpriest, secret agent coming through, potion of madness, nzoth...

Don't forget Dark Cultist Priest will have some of the best 3 drops.

there's something called brackets, if warrior is too shitty they can buff the appearance rate of good cards.

That's true and they no doubt will, but at classic Arena balancing pace that won't happen until the expansion is at least half done.

Dont think so, since they want to change the drafting pool twice per expansion :)
