Since the dual-class arena decks will be retired after the event ends; if we have an unfinished run that gets retired will we receive a free arena ticket like at the start of the event? Or will our runs just retire and we get no ticket?
I've read nothing to confirm a ticket will be given for a retired event run, whereas prior to the event it was clearly stated about existing runs being retired and a ticket being granted. I can make an argument both ways, so unless/until Blizz confirms or denies, I'm planning to finish out my last run.
Well, I just logged in and game told me to finish my run before this event ends. I assume that you will not be given free ticket and your run will just retire, otherwise they wouldn't put this warning in game. But then again, it's just my opinion, but it kinda makes sense.

They gave out the exact warning prior to the start of the event. Its just a warning so u know to finish your run if u had any intention of playing it out fully. It doesnt rly give any inclination to what is gonna happen either way.
I will be leaving out run unfinished for the science, so i will report back afterwards, tho that will be too late to reap the rewards, if it would work, so u have to decide blindly, if u want to "risk" doing the same thing or not.
If u dont care too much about losing 150g, id say its worth trying it, u might get extra free stuff. If ud rather not risk losing 150g, then finish your run before the event ends ;-)
You know it would probably be very easy to get a dev answer on this if someone asks them in person @ blizzcon. Those of you that are going, can you ask them about this?
Im not sure if it would be easy, or if they would (or were allowed to) answer it properly, but hey, its a nice idea! Someone try that :)
Plenty of people have already inquired about this on reddit. We still have not received an official answer! :3

It says, when you click arena, how many days left.
Plus, I don't think they will give people another ticket, since they've made notification, that says: "Don't forget to finish your arena runs, you have X days left".
Kindly post an update if you get a concrete answer with proof! :)

As mentioned in the title, is there going to be a free arena ticket for unfinished arena runs once the dual class thing runs out? I am debating whether to start another run, play to two losses and then just let it expire, to essentially get two arena runs for the price of one.

Old school WoW Mage motto: if you don't end the run with the most damage dealt AND the most deaths, you're not trying hard enough.
I think u wont get another ticket:(
someone ask The Ben on twitter, I bet he'll respond :]

Its weird both ways. There won't be much motivation to start new arenas when the end gets close, but if they give tickets, why wouldn't you start one.
