Just wanted to share some of the experiments I've been running with Prismatic Lens. Since announce I've found this card fascinating and this brawl seems like the perfect playground to really put the power of the lens...in focus ;)
First I tried Dinosizewith divine shield minions using these cards. I quickly learned I needed lifesteal so i put in Vicious Scalehide ( (2) 1/3 Lifesteal, Rush). I think i tried redemption first in hopes of extracting maximum value from the divine shield minions and knowing that sticky minions are going to make the eventual Dinosize more reliable. Also I found that its not the worst to swap costs between the spell and the minions, as the lens is just nice card draw. However it didnt seem that powerful. This is the list:
This seems pretty powerful and can win about half the time at least. Killing sorcerers apprentices, mirror images etc with bluegills was quite common and helped out the WR vs mages. Truesilver Champion seemed helpful for controlling the board in the heal deck (below) so I wonder if it could be nice here. (Update: tried swapping Righteous Protector for Truesilver Champion and felt like it performed very well helping smooth out the bumps that happen when you draw the anyfin before your deck replenishes to 6 cards again.)
My final and perhaps most successful experiment was a healing pally using the following cards:
Forbidden healing makes your minions cost 0 when swapped turns out a 0 mana 8/8 can be really good. or the blackguard doing additional 2 dmg to a minion when you swing your truesilver, helping clear up the board.
Prismatic Lens is a card which is so draw dependent it can be frustrating. If you draw the large spell first, you have to wait a few turns for your deck to refill, except against mill decks which can work in your favor a bit. Tracking your draws is essential so your Prismatic doesn't fizzle. You only want to cast it if you know it will hit the targets OR if you have no better play. Reducing the cost of your next prismatic lens can be pretty important however, so if you are ahead on the board it might be a good idea to swap lens to 2 or 3 mana cost. This helps you cast multiple lenses in a turn to ensure you can get to the discounted anyfin. Often you want to hero power to help control the board though!
Hope you guys enjoy my exploration of prismatic lens. Cheers!
it is very common to get a kalimos on turn 5, with murmuring + harbinger the turns before to reduce his cost, or when you play against a slow deck, keep reducing its cost you can play 4/5 times kalimos in 1 turn. Lots of cool things happen with the nimbus as well.
CARD DISCUSSION
Electra Stormsurge is a great card, and the combo in this deck, with elementary reaction, refills your hand (hopefully you get some harbingers as well from it) but a replacement for her is maybe Tar Creeper / Saronite Chain Gang or Earthen Might.
Kalimos, Primal Lord can’t be replaced in this deck because that flexability is very strong when you only have 6 cards. You have basically 4 cards in 1. His effect is like a choose one effect: restore 12 health to your hero, deal 6 damage to the enemy hero, deal 3 damage to all enemies, or fill your board with 1/1 elementals.
the Menacing Nimbus is not core so if you dislike him you could use something else. BUT he makes the deck very funny to play, i got ragnaros, neptulon and grumble with it along with other cool cards. ALSO: he triggers kalimos and blazing invocation, and he functions as a card that you can always play.
murmuring & harbinger are core and can’t be replaced (i even crafted harbinger for this idea and i only had 140 dust, but it pays of!)
OTHER INCLUSIONS
Your hand is very full most of the time so you could try out Mountain Giant.
also you can try some spells to work with electra, like Crackle
STRATEGIES
Your basic plan is to reduce the costs of kalimos, and then use them for heal / boardclear or for SMOrc fire balls. Your hand will clogg up but overdrawing is not your biggest nightmare and harbinger will help so you can empty you hand faster. Playing electra without a spell may seem weird but sometimes you can just do it to gain some more handspace. Combine the murmuring elemental with kalimos on the same turn so you can pick 2 invocations, for example: board clear + heal or face damage + face damage.
Finally, you “master” strategy is to just have fun. Stay relaxed, don’t rage, enjoy random cards from menacing nimbus, try to get as much kalimos in one turn when playing against armor warrior.
I hope you will try out the deck after what you have read and enjoy it! Dont forget to give shoutout to the tactical masterbrain who created this deck (ilja615) when you are streaming ;-)
Leyline manipulator reduces cost of any card EXCEPT the first 6 that are in your deck at the start. Every 2nd, 3rd, ... copy of each card will get reduced. Be careful to play the first copies of each card (except pyroblast) first, when possible.
Turn 2 research project Turn 3 ice block Turn 4 apprentice + arcane intellect Turn 5 leyline + reduced apprentice + ice block (if popped) + draw as much as possible (try NOT to burn cards, fatigue damage could happen and go through ice block). Repeat until you have 3 pyroblasts that cost low enough to cast them all in the same turn.
Thumbs up for praising our good ol' saviour but Deck of Yogg does wonders (no pun intended) for me. It's great to see so many people spamming Threaten emotes or even insta-conceding the game because they were on the receiving end of the huge RNG. Oh, the irony.
what i've learned from this brawl is, if you aren't trying to win on turn 4 do you really deserve to win? it's an absolute shocker they even allow you to play cards that cost more than 3.

Life before death. Strength before weakness. Journey before destination.
What I've learned from this brawl is: Deck of Wonders >>> Yogg-Saron, Hope's End. Not only did they remove his competitive viability, but also the general playability. I've never had a game where he didn't silence or destroy himself within 5 random spells. This is utterly ridiculous and the nerf should be reverted at least for non-ladder or TB matches. Where is the "fun" part about playing a 10 mana minion when there is a 5 mana spell which can (combined with Augmented Elekk) have much more impact? This way ranked mode wouldn't be affected and those who truly want to go for a 'casual' experience could have the full package again. Otherwise, where is the point of casual mode anyway?

You talk as if Team 5 isn't a rudderless mess. Just take it in stride and bask in the sunset of a once great game.

I don't think disco fist can be beaten. I'm still unbeaten on 2 accounts. Even the rogue crap is too slow to counter it.

If mage gets Ice Block up soon enough, disco can't kill them.

Anyone want to play a brawl that lasts longer than 3 turns? Add me on NA, I'm getting sick of facing burn decks.

Righteous Protector, Annoy-o-Tron, Shielded Minibot, Prismatic Lens, Dinosize was the backbone. for the 6th card I settled on Vicious Scalehide.
For the 6th card, I also tried Redemption, Forbidden Healing, Giggling Inventor, Wax Elemental, and Blood Knight. Giggling was probably the best sub. Forbidden healing was interesting too as 0 cost minions can be helpful. Bloodknight was not the best alt win condition.
I realized as I wrote this that I forgot to try Wickerflame Burnbristle. With the two defensive minions being taunt and divine shield, redemption seemed warranted. So I tested out the following deck: Righteous Protector, Vicious Scalehide, Wickerflame, Redemption, Prismatic Lens, Dinosize. Notes: seems too slow with 3 mana minion (dinosize is best costing 2 and below) and didnt perform well.
Then I realized prismatic lens would combo great with a favorite wild card of mine, anyfin can happen. Heres the deck I settled on:
Righteous Protector, Bluegill Warrior, Murloc Warleader, Old Murk-Eye, Prismatic Lens, Anyfin Can Happen
This seems pretty powerful and can win about half the time at least. Killing sorcerers apprentices, mirror images etc with bluegills was quite common and helped out the WR vs mages. I have had a good time with this deck it is sooo much fun and i can win 60% of the time: Fire Plume Harbinger, Murmuring Elemental, Menacing Nimbus, Elementary Reaction, Electra Stormsurge and Kalimos, Primal Lord

Who doesn't want multiple 0-mana pyroblasts ?
Sorcerer's Apprentice

Ice Block

Been having an absolute blast with this Exodia mage. Beats everything.
This brawl would be much better if they banned some other cards. I'm getting a little tired of infinite mage.

Hehe now i run rampage with that one :-).
This brawl was fun for about 5 minutes. That's after several games, as each one was decided by turn 2.
what i've learned from this brawl is, if you aren't trying to win on turn 4 do you really deserve to win? it's an absolute shocker they even allow you to play cards that cost more than 3.
