I'm currently running a big mage deck at rank 8 and I'm so sick and tired of going against control warriors. I don't always loose against them but the fact that the games takes 15 minutes to complete is driving me insane. It's so boring that I feel like I'm about to go only Arena for the rest of the season. Do you have any tips regarding to who defeats control warriors best? Much love /Salty

Conjurer mage is one of the best counters to warrior, how can u lose that all time??? also mech decks are good vs warrior
I get you, I don't lose to control warrior all the time either but come on. The games go on for so long and it's not like they're even thinking about how to kill you it's just how to clear the board every turn in win through fatigue...
How Blizzard thought this was fun is beyond me. Zero interaction just clear, clear, clear, make some new cards through assembly etc and clear some more.
Seems solid, but Power of Creation is just plain bad. I can explain why: The only 6 drops in mage (they get a bonus in appearence) are 3/3s. And there are only a few good 6 drops worth picking. I would rather include Astromancers. There is also the possibility in including a Harrison Jones instead of a Scorcher for that extra bit of card draw+Weapon destruction (against Rogue its really helpful too). I also prefer Croud Roasters instead of Voodoo Dolls. They help to activate the Witchdoctors early on and prodive a body warrior has to remove.
It loses quite easily to anything that is aggressive (Tempo Rogue, Token Druid, Carpetlock), but it beats any Control Deck. Once I even managed to completely mess up the combo and still won, but just by barely an inch. The good thing is, if you hit the combo the right way (A bit of RNG involved), no amount of healing will save your opponent, and healing is what all those control decks are about rn.
Also, this deck being weak to Aggro does not inherently mean it will lose against it 100% the time. The deck does have a fair amount of Control elements to it, but the high tempo from aggressive decks oftentimes is just too much. Without Explosive Trap, Hounds and other removal spells you get overrun fairly fast.
Edit: Don't worry too much about Armor from a Warrior. Usually you should be able to nuke through that. The current control decks are so slow, they allow you plenty of time to accumulate your burn spells, so that in an ideal scenario you could burn through as much as 25 armor after using Alex. Being a hunter, you will most likely chunk down their armor along the way anyway.
As someone who plays control warrior a lot, I would recommend mech paladin. I lose most of my games against that deck, especially the version that runs Mechano-Egg.
I have found Nomi Priest to be almost unwinnable against as a control warrior. Might be a hard deck to pilot and has a bunch of other bad matchups, but I think if you are good with it then control warrior doens't stand a chance.
Maybe control bomb warrior might, but even then...
(just keep Nomi in your opening hand, don't want to lose it to some random hecklebot)

Having a look at this should give you a good idea overall:

Hol' up, is that a fucking testicle in ur dp
Big Mage with Conjurers Calling and Khadgar is one of the best Anti Warrior decks. Havent lost a single match yet (over 50 played so far)
Why are you struggling? May you show your decklist?
Always expect the unexpectable!
Lmfao, asking the real questions here. I didn't even notice, but now that you say it is either a testicle or a bent dick
Alright boys, stay focused. @Ace100ace200 I'm running an anti rush deck, this one. https://www.hearthpwn.com/decks/1271662-khadgar-aggro-mage

At the last Worldchampionship one player, Roger, tried to counter Control Warrior with his lineup:
Hunter, Mage, Poggo Rogue
the best is Paladin secet/ mech 100% win rate , but vs the other class it struggle a lot

Meca’thun warrior. I went 46-19 to legend beating other warriors (mostly control) 12-3.
