So the only way to defeat pirate warrior is playing taunt warrior, or having luck drawing golakka. Seems very balanced, warrior has been viable for the past 2 years, and it has seen no nerf, idk why people like this residentsleeper class.

Warrior has seen not only 1 but 2 big nerfs to two ENTIRE decks, with the Warsong Commander nerf and the Charge nerf.. I don't know a class that blizzard killed 2 entire decks in a period of one year..
I'm having a lot of fun vs all classes, but warrior is brain dead, both decks. They have not nerfed warrior in so long, and it's pretty obvious it needs a nerf, specially the weapons. Taunt is fine, but the same as hunter, is just curve stone control. They have too many tools, no other class has that many tools. The execute nerf was bad, the execute cost was not the problem, but the ton of activators and sinergies. Idk but if warrior wasn't as strong this game would be soooofun.
Actually taunt warrior is not that great against pirate warrior. Its 50:50 at best, actually pirate might has slight advantage. And yes, I think it is ridiculous that you can beat control deck that plays taunt minion nearly every turn with some cheap pirates and weapons in 5-6 turns.
I just went through your posts for almost a year (your entire hearthpwn history) and I gotta say, you bitch A LOT. I don't think I saw one non-bitching post! And it's been about how warrior is OP and that you can't beat them for almost that entire time!
Maybe it's time, man. Maybe it's time to post something positive. Say something nice about someone else's deck, that Ben Brode's rap made you smile, or that you had fun playing the game, once. It might just change your life. That's the power of love.
The key to all of these problems is tournament mode. You bring four classes and ban one. This forces everyone to play multiple archetypes in a single sitting. This solves countless frustrations of laddering and never-ending "nerf it" threads.
I play tournaments through third-party vendors when I can. But third-party sites are irritating, no-shows (and accompanying long waits between rounds) are frequent, and you must be physically on a computer. I play 99% of the time on my phone, even when I play for long stretches, because it's nicer having a beer on the porch at sunset than holed away in a bedroom.
Blizzard, why on earth do we not have tournament mode!

What Hunter are you playing? Serious question, not being a smartass. Double Golakka Crawler I assume? Because in general, hunter is VERY weak against faster aggro decks.
honestly pirate warrior and other face decks are pretty easy to counter. I don't even play the warrior quest, just dirty rat, bloodhoof brave and alley armorsmith. whirlwind and ghoul with acolyte, frothings and armorsmith with war axe and fools bane is usually enough to crush aggro. cycle like crazy with battle rage and dont be afraid to hit a cultist or berserker with execute. Heck, ive used blood to ichor on 1 hp minions just to keep board clear so he cant get his cultist synergy
The only aggro deck ive lost to was a hunter who had double unleash on his hyena and a discardlock who topdeck into soulfire and doomguard twice. 14-0 vs pirate warrior, 9-1 vs face hunter. They can get you down to around 12hp, but thats when they run out of steam and you start stacking armor at turn 5-7 before they concede
I might lose to some other control decks, but unless they have all their AoE, you can surprise them with a big frothing when you have board and a few whirlwind effects in hand or grom finisher.

Yeah, a toast!

zCant believe I turned to the dark side now, I'm playing pirate warrid climbed from 7 to 3 in 3 hours... shame.

If that's the only way you can think of to counter pirate warrior, then the problem is you.
taunt warrior is weak against PW and also Taunt warrior is more midrange than control deck

Is does annoy me how warrior always manages to stay in tier 1 every expansion. Blizzard's favorite class?
I'd suggest either getting better at the game or building a better deck.
(Sidenote) Isn't that kind of one in the same?
This post is a joke. The set added a ton of cards to destroy aggro. If you aren't beating pirates you aren't trying hard enough.
Like everyone said, there are enough defensive tools available to tech in. And yes, you can use them, you don't need to ask beforehand. ^^
Tar Creeper Stonehill Defender Gluttonous Ooze Golakka Crawler Acidic Swamp Ooze Doomsayer etc...
Gluttonous Ooze might be what control Rogue needs to run.
