Potentially OP early game removal. Mage likes to stall so that it does other OP shit, this deals with early game aggression pretty well if played t1 and hence helps Mage stall. Plus its a cheap Antonidas activator
It's not like adding 2 frostbolts to your hand. If it was like this, you could play both frosbolts in one turn, buff your mana wyrm, reduce their cost with apprentice. This only gives you 2 powerful ping shots. I think it's pretty balanced as it is because I doubt people would be playing this in a competitive mage deck. You waste 1 card slot in your deck to get 2 better pings which is not worth it. If it was the case to add 2 frostbolts to your hand, the value would be totally different

If you play this on t1 that means that you are not playing Mana Wyrm (exept if you used the coin) and on t2 you are pinging your opponets 1/2 drop that means that you arent playing Sorcerer's Apprentice (exept if you used the coin) and the only time Sorcerer's Apprentice and Mana Wyrm would do something is on t3. So you are partly right that it isnt as good as 2 Frostbolts but it wont matter most of the times. Also this is a controll card so most/some deck wouldnt even run those Sorcerer's Apprentice and Mana Wyrm
At least, I don't think so.
What do you think?
I like to make cards and discuss game balance.
I enjoy when "No similar decks were found."

Its a cool but its basicly add 2 Frostbolt to your hand for 1 mana and that is a really op card so it should be 2 mana or deal 2 damage

5 mana, deal 6 damage in 2 turns. Not as broken as Fiery War Axe which deals 6 damage for 2 mana in 2 turns
at least make it a rare card to stop adding god-tier common cards for mage in arena
WCD #8.06: Curse of the Flesh WCD #8.05: Pet Egg
T1 play this, T2+3 kill most of opponents minions.
I am not a Mage player, just thought my avatar would go with my name.
'How many Blizzard employees do you need to fix a lamp? It does not matter, because they cannot balance the ladder.'
Check out my homebrewn Paladin deck.
