hunter diserves all the bad meta always, stupid brainless class, just like druid!!!
Hunter only become "brainless" because the "brainless" community bitched about buzzard so much it completely killed the only card hunters had that helped them with control. Basically that nerf is what made hunters the curve/face centric class it is today. So you can thank people like yourself for the cancer that is modern hunter.
lol, control hunter has never be a thing , its just the same crap again and again, its hero power is made for newbies and honestly i can"t think someone is playing this lame class as a main
It seems you don't get it. A 3/3 lifesteal in Priest has no value at all. Priest is full of healing, they simply don't need a 3 mana 3/3 lifesteal. It is bad for the class, and it would be bad for any class which has sufficient options for heal. Hunter is different, there is no way healing for Rexxar and the 5 mana 4/4 lifesteal is a big exception.
I don't say that card is great, it won't be in your deck anytime, but it is a valid choice from DK Rexxar. And the Hero is a good card because it is flexible and provides options to the Hunter. In the past it was a huge problem that you run out of steam, but with the DK it's not a problem anymore (that is in case you draw it). If you don't like it, don't use it. But it won't make it less good.

I agree, there is a reason why hunters have 1000's of less threads then every other class on this forum (1400 threads compared to 2000 of the second lowest class). Nobody plays or likes hunter because blizzard made it that way. They haven't gotten a unique mechanic since the game came out. Playing against and as a hunter is just dreadfully boring because its always the same deck. I wonder why that is? Maybe its because blizzard hasn't added anything that could help hunters run a different type of deck?
But I'm sure if blizzard did decided, "hey lets give hunters a 6 mana board wipe and a 2 mana draw card at 2/3 stats" All the individuals like yourself would bitch and moan that hunters are overpowered, oh except for the fact that almost every other class already has cards like those.

yeah and every other class can spam 2 damage each turn so that it doesnt need to play anything while controlling the board ? and can play an overpowered crap every turn from the start to the end ?
and why should hunter control be a thing anyway, the class has nothing to add to the game in term of mechanics, if one wants to play control then he should play something else, this class is to go face and is designed for, the mix of both is either shit or too powerful

I'll never get why this game has such a toxic community.

You don't seem to get it. It's a bad card with a comparable card in another class that is statistically better. That's my only point. Yes it's nuetral but really there's not much need for beasts outside of Hunter or occasionally druid. It's just another example of the Hunter class getting the shaft.

Blizzard also tries to remain close to the wow game lorewise and mechanics, giving heal spells to a class without healing abilities Would be kinda weird
bearshark +houndmaster+bonemane = gg so often loosing agains this dump combo. hunter is fine, they dont need aoe they have highmane+ bearshark, goodluck clearing bearshark as a mage. (when u not play freeze/exodia)
Thats the perfect scenario where they play no board minions, and doomsayer+ frost nova / equality+ consecration/ wild pyro+ equality is still a thing for those decks
yeah having healing in hunter doesn't make sense with wow lore I get that and don't even care
card draw -> ok maybe 1/2 two more in later expansions would be nice but i'm doing ok with tracking and loot hoarders and that new discover 2/2 helps a lot
AOE -> OK THIS. like every other class except maybe like druid/rogue (but their card draw/tempo swings is like amazing so it doesn't matter) has like solid AOE options. DK rexxar is a good start but blizzard plz gimme more hunter AOE thx XD
eg. sth like storm of arrows: "Deal 4 damage to all enemy minions, 1 dmg at a time" or rush of hounds "summon 1 2/2 hound per enemy on board board to attack immediately to a random enemy minion" would be cool. there's like NO WAY u can't a hunter-related AOE card like I can forgive blizzard for no solid healing or card draw but hunter will always be dead if its only form of AOE is unleash......which sucks
tried play "play dead" it's quite good turns out that if you have redundency of the same effect 4 times) the effect is more consistent goes well with devilsaurs egg which you can add bonemere to use the devilsaur too with 6 egg activators and 2 tracjers the devilsaur egg is potent in hunter.. just need to cut "must have" cards
Rat pack just doesn't fit hunter aggressive style and is easily punishable, same for infected wolf, currently trying to cut animal companion too to add ths deathrattle package, don't have DK rexxar, and I am mot jumping to craft it, while providing tonnes of value, I think it's too slow, and the DR package is the strongest form of hunter, secret hunter seems underwhelming as expected, 2 new cardswon't make it.
so basically the way to make hunter viableis trying to cut long time stamples which limit youd deck building and try to make it so the deck can handle swipes and board clears while playing sticky value minions.
no it's not, I think honestly that rogue is sorta. people don't know how to use Rexxar dk's heropower. the main issue is that they pick 4+mana beast at the first choice and then the zombeast goes extremely expensive that they wont even play it. personally I pick expensive beast at first only if I need to but most of the time I go for maybe fiery bats even raptor hatlinghs bcs they're deathrattles and they will count on n'zoth summon. I am currently rank 11 with a deathrattle dk hunter and started from rank 20 and I swear that if I will hit rank 10 I will craft arfus for the deck. the key is to not focus on DK just play it if needed

On that i totally agree, Hunter needs aoe and he already has/had it on wow so its not the same problem as heal
I can't help but feel Hunter players should rely on its board control spells (for once) this expansion. Not every Hunter deck needs a crummy 1-drop into turn 2 dino adapt and hope for something nice. Only the tempo/midrange deck can make use of that - if you're running the new hero and are trying to make it to lategame you'll need a more solid game plan that doesn't so heavily rely on 1/1 beasts as "board presence". Seriously, tempo hunter is basically a golrified Murloc deck that involves taunt and occasionally poisonous mechanics. It's nothing special lol.
Rexxar has some seriously good spells that a provable majority of its playerbase isn't patient enough to use.

They do not have really good board control spells, they have middling board control spells. People have tried to make control hunter a thing with those spells didn't work out before. Won't work out now as they got very little help in that department.
Healing in hunter is (was, I can't remember if it's present right now) in WoW: the exotic spirit beasts only available for beast hunter had the healing exotic ability. It wasn't that impactful but it was useful to use it in certain situations. So, hunter can have healing and stick to lore.
Oh boy, I can't understand that much hate against a class. If certain people give so shity arguments to hate an instance of a game, I can't be surprised why there's stuff like what happened in Virginia. Instead of making a game (world) grow together, some just focus on killing the most "disgusting" aspects.

FWIW - Donais was a guest on the Omnistone podcast a couple weeks ago. He explained that one of the difficulties designing for Hunter is that the class was actually Tier 1 from ranks 20-6 - it had among the highest play-rates, and among the highest win-rates in each quintile. However, once you hit rank 5, play-rate and win-rate both tank. Metastats was tracking this trend for the entire duration of the Un'Goro meta-game. If Hunter receives a push, it might become tournament-viable, but it would threaten to unbalance the rest of the ladder, where its win-rate is +4%.

yes, Hunter is the worst class after expansion but this is not a surprise for me..
