So for those that don't know Alex was nerfed way before time because her effect used to destroy all the armor and set the opponent to 15 health regardless of how much armor they had, with the critical amounts of armor that some classes can achieve now both in standard and Wild, it might be time to revert the nerf to ALex My suggestion to unnerf Alex is twofold,
first: it was her original effect,
and second: this is not a proposal to make aggro unstopabble against its only counter, so those of you suggesting complete armor removal for 2 mana can shove it up your bums..., the reason for tieing this effect to Alex again is that Alex is a 9 mana card, so that means she'd take your whole turn to remove armor, and this would be more of a tech choice for heavier mid-range decks to be able to get back into playability
I would love it because Alex is my favourite non highlander card and I hate armor, but it woukd be extrrmely good with that buff. It's already decent as it is now and removing all the armor plus 15 health is huge, every midrange and control would play it and having 15 damage on board would become instant win if not removed. With Zephrys around giving you burst when you need it it's even more dangerous. Also two emperor tick into Alex + some mage spells to kill anything would make freeze mage broken.
What is a problem is one or another class get insane broken and undercosted cards and turn itself impossible to kill.
Warrior now and druid before, the cards like Dr.Boom and UI should keep in check, not the armor concept what have the exactly proposal of overhealing for some classes.
I think there would be no harm in a tech choice neutral minion that would blow up armor. It should have lower than average stats, sort of like Eater of Secrets, so that it wouldn't be auto-include. Or perhaps it should belong to a specific class so that Warriors would fear facing it.
trouble is , some classes like to abuse alexstraza like mage who reduces her cost to 1. so there needs to be some counterplay to that and stacking armor is one of them. if we need tech cards for armor now then what else should we tech against?
If Alex could remove armor then burn decks would become insanely broken. Getting killed from 30+ HP is not fun, didn't you realise that from "AFK until OTK" meta in year of the raven ?

This would be completely broken, so I'm going to say no. Imagine getting alex off primordial drake or off DQ Alex for free and instantly swinging the game even harder than it did before. Alex off alex is already one of the most gamebreaking/cancerous things in the history of HS, the last thing it needs is a buff. Alex was nerfed before draconic lackey, primordial drake, DQ Alex, etc. existed; I think it's ridiculous to assert that it should be unnerfed now that it's potentiality for discovery/free use is higher than ever before.
Ofcourse , alexstraza is the problem , not the smorc bullsh*t and netdecking
Aggro decks and netdecking have existed and been prevalent in pretty much every popular online card game ever created. People were using aggro and netdecks in HS 5 years ago. That's not going to change and it probably never will. You can't change human nature, but we certainly can provide input/have influence on micro elements like individual card design. Hence threads like these.
If armor was the problem, this would be a great solution. However, the Wild meta is being ran by Mages and Priests which also happen to be using Alex. So, no. The revert would just make the T1 decks even stronger.

no
That would be awesome, maybe the game would be enjoyable again.
I think a hard remove armor is way too toxic. It kind of defeats the point of armor.
I would support smaller cards that do specific things related to armor. Like a damage spell that deals more damage to armor or something.
Armor is also a good counter to OTKs involving alex. Think about how Malygos druid was terrorizing the meta with reduced alex and maly.

Dependable loan sharks since 1960. We sink our teeth into every deal we make.

Platebreaker
A-a-a-and noone uses this card.

So you think Platebreaker is toxic? Personally, I feel armor should have more counters. Cards like Platebreaker are healthy for Hearthstone.

NO
Battlecry: If your deck has no duplicates, add 2 other random Dragons to your hand. They cost 5 less.

If armor was the problem. then Platebreaker would be autoinclude.
Is it me? Or is it funny people complain about netdecks on hearthpwn.
