SAVIORS OF ULDUM UPDATE: Updated to add Octosari for crazy card mill, and Body Wrapper to allow playing Chef Nomi four times.
Controlling Chef
Mill Combo Shaman, Rise of Shadows, Theorycraft
STEP 1: Mill your deck & control
With Spirit of the Frog and new late game control support from the likes of Walking Fountain
STEP 2: Play Chef Nomi
For a full board of 6/6 Grease Elementals, alongside Ancestral Spirit to ensure he sticks to board
STEP 3: Repeat for 3x Chef
With a Shudderwock & Bog Slosher
ALSO REFUEL DECK WITH ARCHIVIST ELYSIANA
To stabilise post-chef and avoid fatigue damage
CONSIDERED OR OMMITTED
MORE RISE OF SHADOWS THEORYCRAFTS

How's this working out?
Bog Slosher is more or less worthless in this deck it seems. You can't survive to the late game with this meta, and this deck is flat bad if you can't survive to the late game. Replace it, and this might be semi-viable. Tier 3, but viable.
Any thoughts on Swampqueen in this deck or Haunting Visions? I know Hagatha is slower but an extra battlecry in a control matchup may be helpful especially with two strong minions and Haunting Visions can pull some good cards such as another boardclear/witches brew for survival
Yeah, I have a very similar more control-orientated list in Frog Control Shaman, so I'm hoping to use both to figure out which is the most effective control method in the meta
You can't bounce nomi because your board is full
Sorry, I mention "For a full board of 6/6 Grease Elementals, alongside Ancestral Spirit to ensure he sticks to board"
You need to hit Chef Nomi with Ancestral Spirit too.
no Lightning Storm? you need that to survive till late game, i think
Opinion on Hakkar, the Soulflayer in the deck? use Archivist Ely post Hakkar?
I feel like that would be a different deck and you don't run Chef Nomi?
It's not like Warrior where you could Explore Ungoro your Hakkar with a load of control and armour to spare, as Shaman isn't quite as good late game so I think we need to rely on the Chef Nomi board for an almost OTK if it sticks. Otherwise we'd Hakkar & Archivist, then be left with an empty board with no real threats or defence.
Barista Lynchen?
Definitely for consideration, only for minions on board and Shudderwock/Chef aren't sticky at all so might not be the best fit with the high mana cost.

The late game is insane. Just have to find a way to get there. What you have here won't be enough.
Agree it's an uphill battle with Shaman, hopefully more reveals will help
Yeah. Still a legendary, epic, and rare to come. And the one common we've seen was crazy so those too. With 11 0-2 mana cards you don't want Far Sight. Try Haunting Visions instead to start with. Definitely lose Frost Shock and maybe put a couple taunts in instead. Big Bad Voodoo is an improvement over Ancestral Spirit in this deck I think, and maybe lose one of the four 2-mana spells for value/taunt/tech/a second scheme.
Fair points, but Ancestral Spirit [/card] is required to proc [card]Chef Nomi since you have no space on board for Bog Slosher, it's also great with Walking Fountain
Nice try but shaman does not have enough mill potential. It never has and it is not getting better with this expansion
I actually had some success with a Galvanised Mecha’thun deck last time out but couldn’t get the cards out of hand quick enough, so hopefully although it's an uphill battle, it might be viable at least to meme deck potential
how did you make this so quickly. the card came out 10 mins ago?
Nice deck.
