Total Deck Rating
96
Current score with the latest decklist between ranks 17 and 5 – 20 wins and 9 loses (69% winrate).
I believe it's a final version of the decklist. I'm trying to make overload shaman work since Kobolds & Catacombs, but it has never been more than 55% winrate thing. I'm realistic, so keep in mind that it's not going to be tier 1 deck.
In fact I had too many situational cards. Removed Bloodmage Thalnos and Crushing Hand to improve early game by adding second Likkim and Drakkari Defender.
Chief Inspector is my favourite tech card.
Zentimo + Tidal Surge is as fun as Reno Jackson
Perhaps Krag'wa, the Frog is worth considering but I do not own her.
MULLIGAN GUIDE
I'm always happy with Likkim, Sandbinder, Earth Elemental and Lesser Sapphire Spellstone. Then it depens on a matchup. Far Sight might be useful, Drakkari Defender is supposed to be good at early. Lately against Rexxar I even keep Chief Inspector. I do not activate/remove secrets until I have lethal on a board or I'm forced to. I'm sure it's obvious but Lightning Storm vs aggro.
Hmmm have you considered Thing from Below? Summon six Totems and it's free, and with Greater Sapphire Spellstone (preferably) you could summon a huge wall of taunts. Only sad part is that it'll rotate out with Flamewreathed Faceless, so I suppose that's not very helpful.
Ok I played like 8 games with this deck and I won 2 (1 against weapon rouge and 1 against jade druid, cause he pulled my earth elemental with his dirty rat at turn 2) and the rest I lost against basically all kind of aggro (even tho I adden more removal). But I like the idea behind the deck (: . But I am really not sure how I can win ether matchup (vs aggro or vs control)
Do you use a decktracker? Maybe if I watch some of your replays I will can help. My winrate was at start negative, now is above 50%. The main problem was a bad usage of Coldlight Oracle.
And mulligan, kept to many removal stuff. You need to have at least overload minion.
So... what are you gonna do when Flamewreathed Faceless rotates out? Would this deck still be viable without the famed 4 mana 7/7?
Also, I don’t have a Harrison Jones, so I swapped it with an Eater of Secrets.
K&C came with overload spellstone and shaman is the weakest class at the moment. Obviously there will be a replacement. If not in actual shape, it's going to be another.
If you have any ideas, a feedback would be appreciated. Also please comment after some games against secret mage, if Eater of Secrets makes any difference.
I'm running 2x Corridor Creeper in my control shaman to bait out aoe, combo with spellstone and enable your swingturns, works really great! You should try it
Couple of days ago there was a quick note about Corridor Creeper but I deleted it because I don't have them and I can't check it. To be honest I want to create a playable shaman meme deck which contains The Darkness. It's basicly a card called make your opponent less confident and command him to save all removals to let you punch him in the face with your Earth Elemental. I appreciate your idea but instead of what should I put it there? Without murmuring coldlight combo this deck is not going to be funny and those are 1st cards to delete.
Yeah the darkness is really interesting. I would personally cut Tidal Surge and Eternal Sentinel for the creepers, I have tried both of these in my control shaman but I feel like they are waaay to situational. Eternal sentinel isn't really that good when Elemental Destruction has rotated out and tidal surge costs too much imo.
Also, at what ranks do you play this deck?
This season 15-11. Firstly I have to create optimal list. I had some thoughts about rushing with a meta deck or my beloved exodia mage to ranks 8-5 but it's not going to be the same.
I lost too many games because of the overload, When I couldn't play Snowfury Giant + Greater Sapphire Spellstone in the right time. I have faith in Eternal Sentinel. Tidal Surge + Bloodmage Thalnos is very helpful against Corridor Creeper and as you know everyone runs it.
I did it. Feels bad because I have just crafted Eternal Sentinel today, but Corridor Creeper is too good to let it go. Anyway I'm surprised how well Tidal Surge works this expansion so I'm staying with it for now.

Seems fun, but I'm lacking so many cards...
How about adding in Ancestral Spirit?
I thought about it but instead of what? It's really hard to find some place in this deck :/
