Wonder how this works with Y'shaarj. Do you get the copy of the minion as you played it? Or a 3/3?

I would not call this garbage too soon. yes It is a terrible top deck but pretty much every two drop is and yes its a 2 drop that you don't want to play on turn 2, it feels more like a card you combine with others to spend mana efficiently and make tempo plays. turn 5 you can play this plus 3 drop and its a 4/4 for 2 mana since at turn 3 you also played a 3 drop. Maybe there is a deck that apreciates this, hold it 3 turns and its already worth a 2 mana 5/5, decent templo play. Problably too slow to charge up but let's see in practice.

How so? For QA to get value you need to keep it alive and on the board.

Yeah, sure but it can't atack and is just a dead card in your hand for a bunch of turns, while Adventurer forms an immediate threat, that can scale with ANY card, not just cards above 3 mana.

I can possibly see this in a midrange deck, something like libram paladin. But it's also such a bad topdeck. Even if its a little bit better than adventurer, it's still way too slow.

So it’s kinda like an Edwin Van Cleef for any class.... interesting.

So the neutral corrupt package is already looking strong enough that I'm pretty sure every control deck will be running a Y'Shaarj package. Between this and the 8/8 rush you've got some serious pressure you can put out, and Y'Shaarj gives you the corrupted version, so you end up with some big boys, and with these guys you don't even have to commit them immediately because despite losing the 0 mana value, they still only cost 2.
